Environment + Pests + Setup This week (at day 31) I decided to end the battle against fungus gnats. Even after almost three weeks of dried-out soil, dozens of adult insects could be seen, which told me that there were pockets of moisture that I couldn't influence. Accordingly, I went back to the original plan I had outlined earlier: bring the system into balance and use sand and nematodes. Since I should no longer have any problems with low RH, I have also reactivated the exhaust fan, which lead to the values you can see above. Nutrients + Environment From the outset, the plants showed a slight nitrogen deficiency, which was evident in their rather pale, light green color. This is probably due to the fact that the substrate (until now) did not contain enough moisture to allow metabolic and decomposition processes to proceed efficiently. Directly after watering I got reassured that my choice was right and the soil still alive, healthy, and ready to 'get back to work': Look at the amount of springtails and how fast new growth appeared! Plants On day 30, I topped the plants. Both had already formed three nodes and started to develop healthy side branches at all of these nodes. So, according to my plan, I removed the main shoot, leaving enough space for the stump to encapsulate without damaging the healthy plant. I also removed one shoot from each of the middle nodes, as I don't want branches that already grow towards the center (the branches will grow towards the light anyway, and this way I can ensure that there is enough air circulation and room for expansion). Besides that, I sadly feel like the variegation - and genetic really - ain't stable. By the end of week 5, you could see that the offshoots differed a lot in their 'quality' (asymmetrical, some very weak, etc.), and the variegation didn't appear again. *Gorilla Z Auto was 14 cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto 7 cm (both after topping). Thats why I wrote 10.5 cm.

This week was fun, had nutrient lockout on the one plant some signs on others. Decided to flush from the top with two plants which is a terrible idea with autopots; the minerals build up in the soil and all I did was wash them down. The plant that was looking the worse had some lower branches die after this so I cut them out. Reached out to autopot and they were a huge help, flushed from the Rez and then brought my nutrients way down. I only just got an ec meter but I was at 3200 ppm when I started the flush and 150 by the time I added nutrients back in. The two plants that I flushed from the top aren’t in great shape but they’re still alive, only 2 more weeks to go so hopefully this didn’t have too much of an impact on quality!

When the tropic is part there is to be afraid. She knows she's fast and she grows rapid, maybe I made her fade a little but now we'll take it right away. Tropicanna is a baby that i redo soon.

Fantastic result, super super stinky. Potency totally exceeded my expectations. This rainbow candy cut of marmalade is soooo much better than I imagined it would be.

Tras 10 años cultivando en hidro con arlita (Dutch pot) nos pasamos al RDWC de fabricación propia. El sistema cuenta con 8 cubos para plantas y un deposito externo de almacenaje y trabajo, donde esta alojada la bomba de agua que impulsa a un enfriador y luego se reparte entre las macetas. Todo ese agua se recoge y vuelve al tanque por un tubo de 30mm de diámetro. El deposito cuenta con medidor continuo de EC y regulador PH con bomba dosificadora, Ambos de la marca Milwaukee El sistema cuenta con una bomba de aire de 8 salidas con piedras difusoras para cada una de las macetas. A ver que tal sale mi primer cultivo en este sistema. 💪

Royal AK: Buds are still somehow small, but I see their promise. Hopefully, they will get more forsty after I cut the quick one and move the light further. Quick one: Buds are maturing quickly. I started flushing already on day 50

This week shows a lot of stem growth as well as the presence of some clones! Too excited about how big the girls are getting have a feeling they are going to be getting bigger at a fast rate at this point. I am still keeping them on the same nutrient and light schedule at the moment. I have a lot more pictures and videos this week because lets be honest I am still getting the hang of this thang!

They girls really are super sticky at this point i really hope they get a bit bigger tbh. Hopefully the last few weeks they will fatten up nicely. I believe I scroged them a bit to late for autos and may have casued to musch stress for them to recover in time. We will see. Peace Charlie

Hello Growmies, Exciting times in the garden as we wrap up the first week of flowering! Let me share the latest developments with our flourishing beauty. She's stretched impressively in this initial flowering phase. I've decided not to continue with the ScrOG method any further, as I'm eager to see the kind of colas she will naturally produce. It's always fascinating to observe how each plant uniquely expresses its growth. A light defoliation was done this week, and depending on her growth in the next few days, another round might be in order. Her sturdiness is quite remarkable, hinting at the potential for some hefty buds – a thought that certainly brings a smile to my face! She received one watering session this week, with 3 liters of nutrient solution. I'm keeping a close eye on her response to ensure optimal growth. Overall, I'm really pleased with how she's developing. There's something deeply rewarding about watching a plant thrive under your care. The girls have grown so much and they already smell pretty good. I'm trying to decide if I should SCROG. I have a trellis net but it's just a net, not the boxy thing that I've seen others with. What do yall think, should I SCROG? GDP2 is in her 5th week. If she were the same age as GDP1 and BK, I'd flip them next week but I'll try waiting at least another couple of weeks to give her some time to grow a little more although she's catching up with the other 2 height. I'll be posting more throughout the week. 7/4/22: Defoliation... I know it's needed but they're my babies.... lololol 7/7/22: Look at my girls... they don't look like they've recently been defoliated. You can tell which ones are the Granddaddy Purples... they have a purple tint to them. The Bubba Kush is super green... 😍😘😍

I got busy and missed my week 2 of flower update. But here’s week three. This strain has been putting in work. The stretch is decent and I feel like they still have a little more stretch in them. I did a little leaf stripping but planning on doing a lot more in the next day or so. There is a decent amount of tops coming through the first layer of trellis. I’ll keep the girls happy and hopefully she’ll make me happy on harvest day. All in all no complaints about this strain as of yet.
