This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Yeesh, what a ball drop Circuit Breaker kept tripping. Using 3 450w, co2, exhaust fan, 3 fans. I unplugged the Co2 after 3 days of troubleshooting. Vpd got totally screwed, plants didnt get watered and messed up the steer. Irrigation system clogged(probably from stagnating) Reservoir has buildup of organic material. Think it was caused from Kelp, and microbes being added to the tank A bubbler didn’t help, covering it didn’t help. I did not try “hydrogaurd” I will stop adding organic nutes. I am now watering by dubbing a bucket into the tank and gand waterin Also, no more than 1000w of lighting in a room. I prefer to use a full quality setup with less plants. No Co2 is ridiculous. Each test ive done has shown that co2 gets me heavier yields.

Unten herum wurde die Pflanze nochmals komplett ausgedünnt wie es sich für die Scrog Methode gehört. Hier folgen bis zur BW3 noch Nachbesserungen Die aktuelle Temperatur liegt immer zwischen 22,5°C und 24°C und auf Grund des aktuellen vielen Regens, liegt die Luftfeuchtigkeit immer zwischen 60% RH und 63% RH was für den Anfang der Blüte völlig in Ordnung ist. Die Blüte wurde nun am 25.07.2025 eingeleitet.

took my old filters from my full ecosystem fish tank and rinsed them out in the water i gave to the girls. This will be just the same as using fish shit and it will make the buds big and sticky. Next week will tell if it worked.

08/01/2020 Lots of pistils popping out on her, no stretching yet but that will come soon! I will measure her in the morning to see how much stretching occurs by harvest time 70ish days I am told.

She looks super beautiful,just like her 2 sisters I have another 2 somango auto by gea seeds as purple as her, msame aroma,just very stable Strain,the smell it's just pure authentic mango,plus she has a very gorgeous purple color on her flowers,definitely need to grow her many more times. 💚🌱💎🔝

Raised lights an inch and switched to FF Grow Big 10/ml/gal. Working on getting humidity up and temp down, such a conundrum. Added humidifier outside the tent next to the vent in. Plants look really good. The Pineapple Chunk is the biggest still but a little less dark green than the Presidential and Fruity Pebbles. Fruity Pebbles was the smallest but at the end of the week it seems to be almost as big as the Presidential.

She has been great since day one very good growth rate excellent structure and lots of bud sites formed and filling out .. she has 7 friends to start but we down to three two females and a male plant .. The selected male show resistance to cold, humidity, lack of water .. the male had lots of growth and will make a suitable plant for some pollen ...

Week 4 What a week again with a lot of sunshine for the plants, but also (finally) some rain. Plants are still inside the greenhouse, so no direct rain onto them. Humidity got raised to 75 from the moment the rain started. I'm tempting to top one of the two plants, but I don't know which one yet. Also going to apply lst to both plants by bending the branches away from each other. I did not fertilize yet for the second time, because I don't want them to grow out of their pots already. I still can't plant them outside, because nights are too chilly. They are thriving anyway, but once they will be in full ground, I'm sure they will even do better. UPDATE: I topped the biggest plant (Mr. High) at the 4th node, so 3 nodes remain with possible 6 new growing points.

sideways. i am done torchering this creature and am now asking for forgiveness and a salvage harvest. 3rd grow ever in life maybe four but frustrated i am finally starting to understand some things. i feel like there are 40k people on planet earth at least on here who have successs so no reason i cant but have to make notes and pay attention examine these creatures and try to get on a spiritul wavelength while following the leaders many many suggestions. this started out with a blurple then maxsisun mf 2000 and there was a week under a marshydro tsw 2000 and i switched it though i wonder if i am making a mistake not using the maxsisun on the new grow as it has 400 watts from the wall and the marshydro has 300 watts. i also have noticed that many people are having success with nowhere near the shit i have bought. this has become some kind of weird obsession but i am obsessed with my outdoor garden and i have severe bipolar and gardening helps very very much. i get very very depressed in winter and i have realized this is all about a million different things but i will make a maximum effort to keep it simple and not stress this next grow like i did to this poor thing. AS FAR AS IM CONSCERNED, PEOPLE WHO GROW WEED HAVE SOMETHING MYSTERIOUS IN COMMON AND WHATEVER IT IS, ITS NONE OF MY BUSINESS. JUST KEEP GROWING UNTIL I CATCH ON FIRE OR GET REWARDED WITH GOOD SIZED DENSE BUDS THAT LOOK LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE A BOW TIED AROUND THEM OR AT LEAST TAKE YOU OFF PLANET.
