D72 - This week's diary starts late since I was gone on a short trip. The girls didn't miss me though as they are simply doing their thing, and with the automatic drip system, I don't even have to worry about watering. The girls look amazing! The colas are huge with plenty of frost. I'm very chuffed with how this grow is turning out :) D73 - Gave each girl 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.6, with 25ml EM-1. I'm fighting against temps and humidity since we have a heatwave with thunderstorms and plenty of rain. The average temp in the tent the last 24 hours was 31 degrees C (88F) and RH 63.5%, which is way high this late in flower. D74 - Yes! Our bad weather has moved on, and the humidity in the tent has dropped significantly to the mid-low 50s. Much better. Have to avoid that budrot! There isn't much to do in the tent now when everything is automated, so I spend more time observing and scouting the girls. I figured out that using my hyper-bright flashlight below the canopy is an excellent way to spot leaves that are yellowing from lack of light. I never thought of that before, but damn, it worked great and will now be a new tool in my arsenal. I removed the yellowing leaves and a couple of other fan leaves blocking bud sites. The rest of the leaves I tucked. Speaking of fan leaves, the stalks on the first girl are purple while they are green on the second. Another difference is that the first look frostier than the second girl. Not sure if that means that the second girl will take longer. One fan leaf on the first girl has a strange discoloration in the middle of a fan leaf, but I'm not overly concerned, considering it is only one leaf, and we're towards the end of the grow. Finally, and then I'll stop harping about fan leaves; one leaf tip on the second girl is turning purple. D76 - I had a first look at the trichomes. Clear/milky on both girls, with a random amber here and there on the second girl. Based on this, I guess chop day is at least a couple of weeks away. D77 - We have reached the end of the sixth week of flower, and everything is trucking along. It's mainly a waiting game at this point, waiting for the buds to fatten up and for the trichomes to mature. I ordered nematodes a few weeks ago and forgot to use them. I don't have a fungus gnat infestation, so it was only a preventative measure anyway. The nematodes were a couple of weeks past their use before date, so no idea if they are still viable, but I figured it is better to use them than throw them. I gave each girl 1.25-liters of nematode water @ pH 6.6, adding 25 ml of EM-1.

January 24, 2019 The girls are doing WELL. Seedsman Cream & Cheese CBD in a close second in the bud development category this week (just behind the Critical+). But as you can see in the video, she is sticky and stinky! 👍 This week I fed/watered 3 times (basically once every other day). The first time I fed with Recharge, Mammoth P and Big Bloom. The second time, I fed with Mr B’s Green Trees Bloom and Cal Mag. The third time was water only.

So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

Day 66 : Lady is fattening. I increased nitrogen (bio-grow) in order to fix some deficiencies. Also i removed Calcium this week. She is a bit behind, maybe 4 weeks, i don't know. Trichomes production just started. Edit Day 70 : She takes weight but not so fast, trichomes develop is slow, and i assume that she is stressed because of air flow on her for much time. I hope she pass this situation. I increased Biogrow to 5.4 ml / L. The other doses remain the same.

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. Die Woche war von der Entwicklung her echt Top die Damen werden fetter und fetter das einzige was mir Sorgen gemacht hatte war das dadurch das die buds zu legen an Gewicht die Äste sich zur Seite und nach innen gebogen haben deshalb habe ich mich dazu entschieden meinen Rahmen des ScroG netzes zu installieren und die Äste dort dran zu befestigen damit sie sich nicht gegenseitig beschatten oder gar schlimmer noch abbrechen. Ich Weiss sieht scheisse aus aber es hilft werde in der nächsten Woche noch einmal leicht die schere schwingen damit auch die untersten buds noch die Chance haben aus zu Reifen sonnst war diese Woche wieder nicht viel los 😂👍 ich muss sagen ich bin echt begeistert von der Bio tabs Palette super einfach in der Handhabung und das ich den Ph Wert mit green buzz nutrients fahre war genau die richtige Entscheidung die beiden Produkte funktionieren 1 a zusammen ich mein die Bilder zeigen das es funktioniert und dabei noch so einfach....! Ich hatte kaum Arbeit beim düngen und trotzdem meiner Meinung nach bis jetzt ein bomben Ergebniss euch allen ein schönes Wochenende und Happy growing!

Dried straight on parchment-lined trays. Shawty's a super strong strain, 100% nighttime weed. Shawty total dry weight: 69g. Taste wise right now: mostly pine/forest with hints of skunk popping up here and there (not all buds). Aroma is gassy/diesel mixed with licorice, but it'll probably shift after curing. Occasionally get some berry vibes in places. Jury's still out too soon to call it. Shawty didn't smell strong at all during flower, so her aroma is much less pronounced/intense compared to Punchline. Surprisingly, Punchline has a way louder and more pungent smell. Spent roughly 4 to 4.5 hours on trimming this whole harvest. Not too bad, but my hands are done lol All the trimming leftovers are going straight to BHO Will update later once the flavors and aroma really pop and get more pronounced after curing

Environment + Pests + Setup This week (at day 31) I decided to end the battle against fungus gnats. Even after almost three weeks of dried-out soil, dozens of adult insects could be seen, which told me that there were pockets of moisture that I couldn't influence. Accordingly, I went back to the original plan I had outlined earlier: bring the system into balance and use sand and nematodes. Since I should no longer have any problems with low RH, I have also reactivated the exhaust fan, which lead to the values you can see above. Nutrients + Environment From the outset, the plants showed a slight nitrogen deficiency, which was evident in their rather pale, light green color. This is probably due to the fact that the substrate (until now) did not contain enough moisture to allow metabolic and decomposition processes to proceed efficiently. Directly after watering I got reassured that my choice was right and the soil still alive, healthy, and ready to 'get back to work': Look at the amount of springtails and how fast new growth appeared! Plants On day 30, I topped the plants. Both had already formed three nodes and started to develop healthy side branches at all of these nodes. So, according to my plan, I removed the main shoot, leaving enough space for the stump to encapsulate without damaging the healthy plant. I also removed one shoot from each of the middle nodes, as I don't want branches that already grow towards the center (the branches will grow towards the light anyway, and this way I can ensure that there is enough air circulation and room for expansion). Besides that, I sadly feel like the variegation - and genetic really - ain't stable. By the end of week 5, you could see that the offshoots differed a lot in their 'quality' (asymmetrical, some very weak, etc.), and the variegation didn't appear again. *Gorilla Z Auto was 14 cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto 7 cm (both after topping). Thats why I wrote 10.5 cm.

October 28, 2021 Doing my weekly diary updates a couple days early this week. This weekend I'm doing some work on the basement to finally finish the last of the construction projects for the Dude Cave!!! Once finished, I have a new 2x3 tent and a Viparspectra XS2000 (240w LED) that will be set up next week. Then I'll run the 2x3 for veg/autos and the 2x4 for photos. As for the plants... The Quick Critical is cranking! That girl is on a growing spree and I have no intention of doing anything to slow her down. The Critical Sour is a week behind, but looking much better than the sister seed that never really did anything after breaking the soil. I'd like to see the Critical Sour hit a growth spurt like the Quick Critical in the upcoming week 🙏 The CBD Medi Kush finally started pushing out a node and some serrated leaves. Its really funky looking right now, almost like its revegging. It will be interesting to see if she hits a growth spurt this week too. With the Dr Bruce Banner I think the seeds are just too old, neither of two seeds popped. I did decide to try to plant one more seed, but a different 1:1 strain. I planted a CBD Lemon Aid, also from Original Sensible Seeds. Hopefully this one will pop, but these seeds are the same age as the Dr B Banner seeds and have been stored the same way (dark space, room temperature, silica humidity pack in the box). If the CBD Lemon Aid doesn't pop, I'm just going to pull out that pot and see what the other 3 do. Cya next week!

Die zehnte Woche ist rum. Die buds sind immer noch ordentlich am wachsen und bilden vuele neue Blütenstände. Die vom Hersteller angegebene Lebensdauer ist erreicht, aber optisch dürfen da noch einige Wochen folgen. Hab auch noch keine Trichome gecheckt. Der Plan ist der Folgende: Wissend, dass bei dieser Blütemenge Schimmel ein großes Risiko sein wird, möchte ich sie eigentlich noch mindestens zwei Wochen behalten. Sobald ich Schimmel irgendwo erkennen kann, wird umgehauen. Auch wenn die Blüten dann vermutlich noch nicht voll entwickelt sind. Ich wohne im Norden an der holländischen Grenze im Moorgebiet. Die RLF hier ist hier - selbst bei diesen jetzigen, trockenen Bedingungen- selten unter 60 %. Nachts immer zwischen 80 und 90 (es ist hier super trocken aktuell). Aber wer weiß… vielleicht Sorge ich mich auch zu unrecht und sie steht noch nen Monat.

Gave her some banana peel tea and she seemed to like it! Going up to two tbls to a 2 gallon jug today I am praying she can take it without issue, but I will feed the microbial life.with some black strap mollasas 1tsp to 1 liter of water

Training methods include the several weeks I missed. As of this week no training. Morning Glory- 35.5” Tall Mexican Haze (in-ground)-40” Tall Mexican Haze- 33” Tall Love Drunk- 25” Tall Ackbar OG- 26.5” Tall Crazy Glue- 38” Tall The nutrients used are from a once a week ordeal. Normally it’s just tap water. I still need to update the info on the other two Love Drunks as well as the Fruity Pebbles.
