Hello everyone! As you can see I'm growing Starbud by Hortilab Seeds which are 3 week old cuts rooted in an x-stream propogator and transferred today into an Amazon Aeroponic System using the Shogun Fertilisers which have so far proven themselves though I have not yet finished a crop with them, my other crop Ugorg in other diary will be ready in around 5 weeks so check that out too if your interested in these nutes. This will be a sort of half sog and half scrog as I have 15 cuts fairly close together and intend to veg them only till they hit an inch through the net then I will flip to 12/12 and hopefully let the initial stretch in flower fill the net as oppose to growing a few plants and having them fill 70% of the net before flipping, fingers crossed it should work. I'm vegging under 400w halide and a budmaster G.O.D 9 set to half power and both sat over a meter away from cuts while they harden off and angled so that their footprints merge or crossover. When it comes time to flower I will use 600w hps and turn the LED onto full power. That's all for now folks, wish me luck and the same to you all in your own projects. Peace ✌️🏻

Grow Diary – Sweet Skunk Automatic (RQS) Day 35 – Flowering Has Begun Today is Day 35, and the Sweet Skunk Automatic is officially entering the early flowering stage. The first white pistils are now clearly visible at several nodes, confirming that the plant has shifted from vegetative growth into bloom. Internodal stretching has increased slightly, especially around the central stalk, but the plant still maintains a compact and healthy form. Leaf color remains a vibrant green with no signs of deficiency or stress, and side branches are beginning to gain strength. The earlier cool and cloudy days seem far behind now, with recent weather providing the ideal environment for a smooth transition into flowering. Weather & Outlook β€’ Daytime temps: 23–27Β°C β€’ Nights: Mild, around 12–15Β°C β€’ Mostly sunny skies forecasted for the coming week With more sun and warmth on the horizon, we expect to see rapid flower development over the next 7–10 days. Everything is progressing right on schedule. From now on, all eyes are on flower formation and nutrient balance. Let the bloom begin!

10 weeks total for the first phenos and a bit more than 11 for the last one! I could have easily gotten double the projected yield on these had I not neglected them but whatever I pulled is rock hard, dusted in sugar and smells absolutely stupendous! You did it again FastBuds!

Flowering Week 20: Structural Surprises & Purple Promises Update: 28.07.2025 | Day 143 Hey Growmies, Apologies for the radio silence! Between vacation and kid adventures, the diary took a backseat. But the ladies? They’ve been busy. Here’s the catch-up: Emergency Support Mission - Durban’s weight crisis: Side branches cracked under their own mass – one even split the main stem! - Field fix: Stabilized with 4 stakes + speaker wire (ugly but effective). - Lesson learned: Next run = heavy-duty support before stretch. Strain Check: Durban Poison (African Queen) - Growth style: Less height (expected 2m+), more lateral explosion – new shoots daily make her look like 3 plants in one. - Flower status: White pistils stacking at branch tips. - Smell: Still discreet (neighbor-safe… for now). - Health: Vibrant green – zero stress signs. Blueberry - Surprise stretch: Nearly hit 2m (like a sativa!). Half Durban’s width but elegant. - Stem power: Thicker trunk than Durban – mini-tree status. - Color preview: Purple stems emerging! Buds may follow suit (fingers crossed). - Support needed: Prepping for heavy buds to avoid branch snaps. Care & Environment - Feeding: Pure Bokashi juice (no extras) – they’re thriving on it. - Pests/mold: None spotted. Dry summer helping. - Weather: About 20Β° C and really high humidity. Next Steps - Build 4-stake + twine support grid (multiple height tiers). - Monitor Durban’s odor spike as flowering advances. - Pray to the mold gods for a dry autumn (purple buds = mold camouflage). Week 20 Takeaway Never underestimate the weight of the branches and the effect of a little strom. I could possible fuck up my grow. Alright folks, as always: Catch y’all next week – no more hiatuses! – Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. Today 13.27 hours of light. My Gorilla is doing well, lots of flowers are forming although they are smaller than those in Special Kush # 1. Strong cheese smell. The supercropped twin branches will become one giant bud. August 19 update - Very initial mites infestation promptly treated with nettle macerate spray. August 21 update - first day of new heat wave

Alike Lamb Breath this lady loves the cold weather, but the most important thing I’ve seen is just balancing light, nutrients, stress, and water. I am going to have fun now with these ladies, when it comes to LST all I am missing is a fan, but this will be an indication whether I really do need a fans to circulate airflow to mimic

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.
