Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. Done with drying, I cut her bud sites and placed them into a mason jar. I bought the boveda packs that are 62% RH. Now time to sit and wait 2-3 weeks and see what the finished product is like. This week started with flowering. The lst was a bit too agressive and one little branch broke but I save it. I applied more lst to the plant this week. The plant doubled the size within a week. I had a pH problem that im fixing, the soil at one point due to nutes hit 4.8, way too low. The flowering is in full power now, I did a flush to adjust the pH and tomorrow will add new nutrients and control the pH. All good for now, a little of stress is visible on the leaves, is due to pH and strong light. For the rest everything else is going fine. See you next week.

Temps have been very high around 87 but humidity has been at a cool 58-67 keeping vpd 1.1-4 not sure if that’s good or not

Bruce Banner is turning into the Hulk!!!!!!!!! Holy shit, what a strain. This will be a massive harvest on some very large buds. The frost is here and the bloom booster is in the daily fertigation regiment. Looking for these things to really fatten this week. Smell is strong and earthy so far, just the way I like it. The BM has stretched hard the last week putting on some incredible size , just keeping up the defol and minor lollipop to her as she starts fully going in to bud . Already getting a faint fruity smell , the leaves are tasty as we actually had some in a salad the other night 😂

How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy. Thanks a lot guys. 💚 Start adding you Bloombastic food already. They love it. Smell is mad. I think most of plants ready in week or so.

The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

Es la última semana antes de nuestra cosecha, el tiempo se nos echó encima y las Flores ya están echas, se preparó un lavado de raíces y tijeretazo,para sucesivamente colgarlas.( PRIMERA VEZ que se me echa el tiempo encima con la floración, jurao) Me habría gustado darles algo de estrés hídrico, pero lo veremos con las lemon kush y las northern light xL. -power plant xL es una cepa con predominancia sativa, con una corta floración,es un ejemplar fácil de cultivar, fuerte, y vigoroso. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.
