Amber trichomes be damned. 11 weeks of flower is enough! Day 75 Flower (Day 117) I gave the left girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.5 water today and checked the trichomes on both girls (again). That was it. Day 76 Flower (Day 118) Woohoo! I'm finally starting to see some amber trichomes here and there. The end is near! Day 77 Flower (Day 119) Today was the last day of week 11 of flower, and the grow is drawing to an end. I had a closer look at the trichomes, and they are showing enough amber to satisfy me. I think I will chop tomorrow on day 120. It's been a fun grow, and I have learned a bunch, but after over a month of overtime, I'm also ready to close down shop and have a bit of break.

July 13: perfect cannabis weather after last week’s heat wave. Another heat wave next week, but for now it’s perfect. Added a third scrog layer and tied it off to some water bottles. This type of scrogging works, is easy, cheap, and it’s easy to still move the plant around the yard as needed. July 14: re-did the scrog net using a larger piece with more squares. Supercropped some ends to keep the growth tips at the same elevation. We’ll see how many colas I can make of this. July 16: looks happy enough but I need to up the water volume in this heat. July 18: really hot the last few days (33 C) so lots of watering and misting to keep them a bit cooler. Look really green and robust. 👍👍 Also wetting outside of grow bags to get some evaporative cooling for the soil. Added malted barley and Power Bloom to some soil and added it as a soil layer. Added plain soil on the top to deter birds from stealing the barley kernels. Wow, this thing is huge! Very impressed with the final week of growth for the Gorilla, she looked massive! Some of the branches had collapsed from the weight of the buds. I harvested, with 19 full branches of buds now hanging up to try, this should be a great harvest! I'll update values once I have an idea of dry weight 😀

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place, serious things can begin ! I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on hos they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. D-26 : Topping the girls. Hope everything is going to ok... Also feeding the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 25cm to 12cm.

Filter sock clogged up again, I just took the whole filter off, I'm not worried about the smell as it's outside in my shed anyway. Still warm and dry out this week, humidifier barely lasts 24 hours and that's just to keep the RH above 40. Trichs developing nicely, few more weeks to go for sure.

Not sure exactly when she finished I believe around 3 weeks more than stated. Again this lady too everything I had to offer, always stood proud and tall and gave me no troubles at all! A pleasure to grow and one I will run again in the future.

I crossed 2 trains Pineapple express and platinum Tangi I crossed it with itself 4 times had put out over 30 seeds all of them popped I’m trying to get the best out of my plant this should be fun

Flower week 3

So far I've done some LST to get some underbranching to shoot up and grow. Seems to be working. They've got some light feedings of Liquid Seaweed, Molasses, and URB. I've learned you have to feed light on this girl.

10 November 2020 SunSet-Sherbet Well this week is just another week by now, this lady has been threading through the scrog throughout the week and I believe this lady has finished here stretching and is in full on flowering mode now. Normally a plant stretches the first few weeks into flower to stop the growth and use the nutrients it’s getting now is used to store in the nugs and not the growth anymore. Each cola of each branch has reached the scrog net and has a decent amount of light exposure due to the fact that I only has one light for 2 plants and the spread of the light isn’t the best. Started making actual looking hairy heads with the on them 😁 the leaf spread is just getting a lot. Do-Si-Wine This plant is doing splendid due to fact that the long and stretchy-ness of these branches has reached the scrog net above and beyond which makes it a lot easier to thread through the scrog and to get as much light exposure as possible for more thicker nugs 🤓 The heads on this lady has started making THC 😁 the nugs are starting slowly to turn white which is very cool, because the plant is a dark green with WHITE nugs. One branched has snapped which is quiet delicate and grows above the rest if the canopy and causes shadow from on the bottom branches.

Buds are getting more noticeable now with a lemony smell when rubbed. Couple of the plants got stunted when they were left in the green house for a week are now recovering nicely all be it a bit on the small side. One auto started flowering and then reverted back into vegertive state, has been sent to live down the end of the garden as I have know idea what she's up too.

Looks like a promising sturdy but surprisingly tall plant. I thought BK was supposed to stay on the shorter side. Regardless I'll enjoy watching her grow & hopefully she'll reward me with beautiful flower. The BK flower I previously had was my go-to night time if I had a migraine strain - worked every single time. I hope this one is the same.
