07/06/2025 - Day 98 Short Facts: - 86 cm tall - VPD @ 1.0 - Approx. 900 PPFD - Fungus gnats still there - Thrips seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for not updating the diary over the past few weeks. I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

Had a bit of nute burn and potassium deficiency had to increase potassium to balance it out.....other than that she is doing well....u know it's getting closer to the end the stem along with the branches are showing there purple genetics

Let's talk about our Jealousy girls from Zamnesia Seeds. We have one Jealousy (1) at 15 weeks and another Jealousy (2) at 14 weeks. Jealousy (1), nicknamed 'the first,' has been on a water-only regimen for two weeks now. For the past three days, instead of regular watering, we've been adding ice to her pot to give her a little stress. Meanwhile, Jealousy (2), or 'the second,' is still enjoying her nutrient diet with TDS at 1800 ppm and pH at 6.2. However, Jealousy (1) has started showing signs of yellowing leaves and around 30% of her trichomes have turned brown. We're planning to harvest Jealousy (1) by the end of the week on March 3, 2024. As for Jealousy (2), she's still growing strong!

Plant continues to show growth , slow and steady but maybe it will bust with growth one day, but otherwise I noticed to leaves kind of twisting and curling and such not sure why I barely water them to keep from being overwatered because I noticed the soil does retain water a LOT plan to transplant them in coco coir 50/50 mix fox farm cream of the crop but till then they will remain in Fox farm ocean forest( maybe the soil is overloaded with nutes for this strain) 😬(and me amending not making it any better)

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

BLUE CUSH DAY 49 FROM SPROUT She is a bushy plant with dark leaves of an almost blue tint. Removed the plastic wrap covering and still seems to be no more gnats.

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off with removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of the week we topped her aswell. The next day we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 At the end of the week it looks like there is a deficiency going on, if anyone has a idea what it could be, please let me know! This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!
