🌿 VEG WEEK 3: Big Bang | Divine Seeds
🌱 VEGETATIVE PROGRESS
The Big Bang is showing incredible resilience and power this week. Since she settled so well into the 8L pots, I decided it was time for the first major structural intervention: Topping. ✂️ I’ve removed the main apical growth point to break the apical dominance and redirect that energy into the side branches.
Looking at the close-ups, she handled the surgery like a champ with zero recovery time. You can already see the two new main shoots taking over, and the lower branches are catching up rapidly. The leaf color is a perfect, healthy green, and the stem continues to thicken up. This is the foundation for the massive canopy we’re building for the Scrog net. 📈
💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING
I’ve stepped up the feeding regimen this week to support the rapid development after topping. The addition of Bio-Heaven provides a massive boost for energy uptake and recovery.
Current Feeding Schedule (per Liter):
Bio-Heaven: 2.0 ml/l
Root-Juice: 2.0 ml/l
Acti-Vera: 1.0 ml/l
Calmag: 0.5 ml/l

Relative Humidity (RH): 60%

VPD: 0.95 kPa
💭 GROWER'S NOTE
👀 Status Report: Topping was the right move at the right time! By keeping the VPD steady at 0.95 kPa, I’m ensuring the plant can process the increased nutrient intake from the Bio-Heaven without any transpiration issues. The symmetry of this Big Bang phenotype is outstanding. Now that we have multiple growth points, I’ll be starting the LST very soon to spread her out even further. The vigor of these Divine Seeds genetics is just next level! 💥 Stay tuned! 🚀

North Thunderfuck Auto is a powerful strain, I am very happy that I had two plants so that I will be able to enjoy it even longer.
Here is a quick overview of this cycle.
21/06/2022 - planting
14/09/2022 - harvest
3 weeks of vegetation
8 weeks of flowering
15 days of drying
106 g. total yield
2 North Thunderfuck Auto plants
After harvesting, the plants were dried for 15 days, after which I trimmed the flowers and put them in jars to ripen.
And now all that remains is to enjoy the fruits.

The overfeeding on the center plant becomes apparent, but it still takes me a while to realize it and I kept feeding it the tomato fertilizer.

Today i watered 2000ml ph regulated water. Also removed some yellow leaves from toxy. (Day 72)
Waterd 1000ml both plants. You can see how the buds are getting bigger 🌺😋 Checked trichomes on top, some are turning amber and the rest is milky. (Day 74)
It is slowly coming to an end. The buds are getting thicker, the leaves are getting yellower, the smell is getting stronger. Toxy is even getting very colorful. Watered toxy 1700ml and sticky 1300ml. Also heavy defoliate toxy

What up grow fam. Hopefully your grows are going amazing. This week has been awesome with the girls going in the flower stage. Showing preflower sites all over the place. I did add 1tsp/gal of some Calimagic from GH. It seemed to stop the rust spots from getting worse. One of them is an absolute mess showing signs of all kind of bad. I thought it was over watered but still a little uncertain. Will toss the dice and keep up the same routine and see what happens.

Fresh out of the cloning dome into solo cups and into my new tent🙌 All my clone seemed to have survived the dome and are now doing Nicely in their new home under their new badass rail light . Can't wait to see these grow up🤩

🌸 Flowers at Peak:
By early September, all plants reached full maturity.
Buds are fat, tight, fully stacked. Trichomes are now mostly cloudy with 5–15% amber, especially on Sour Puffs and DC Kush.
Opium shows the longest ripening window — still pushing white pistils into Week 18.
💎 Trichomes:
Shimmering in the sun, thick coverage.
Some foxtailing visible on the sunniest tops (natural, not stress-induced).
Aroma is intense — gassy, fruity, and spicy notes depending on strain.
🍃 Fading & Finish:
Leaves are fading beautifully. Controlled senescence — yellow tones from the bottom, with some red/purple hints on DC Kush.
No signs of overfeed or flush-burn.

This week she developed her buds incredibly well 😍.
The flowers smell really unique now. The look of the flowers is exactly to my taste.
@ SweetSeeds, I can only say it every time it's a perfect phenotype 👍.
From next week I slowly go down with the feed, which slowly starts to consume the feed in the soil.

Die dritte Blütewoche hat am letzten Samstag begonnen. Schaut aus als hätten sie das Lollipopping ganz gut überstanden. Der Geruch wird langsam intensiver, aber sehr angenehm. Fotos werden Ende der Woche geupdatet.

Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho.
Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow.
Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls.
I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog.
Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%.
Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping.
Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap.
I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this?
Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas.

I give 8 liters of water per pot.
I was giving a 2-nutrient callmag, but the water coming out from the bottom has high ppm, so I will give empty watering.
Day 97-Bloom 38= sugar leaves and immature buds were cuted

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics:
Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower.
Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually.

*****Week 17 growth – April 3 to 9, 2021 – Week 9 flower ******
Well, that’s two weeks flush and we have more to go. Started checking trichomes at the start of the week with few cloudy but lots clear. Pulled a couple of buds at the end of the week to look at but still need another week. Going on to week 10😂😂😂👍
The smells have stepped again this week. Trichomes are plentiful and it appears the UVA are doing their thing. The two fixtures are on for two hours per day, roughly in the middle.
The fade on Pheno 1 is just freaking gorgeous @emeraldtriangleseeds and feel lucky to be watching and helping her through. Aromas of citrus 🍊🍊🍊 are just awesome. This strain is killing it this grow.
