Week 6 was smooth. Especially after correcting the signs of deficiency. The plants have bounced back quickly after being fed and are thriving in the environment. New growth shows no new signs of deficiencies, and old growth did not get any worse. Luckily it was caught early enough and corrected. At the end of week 6 I continued to tie down shoots and continue the LST throughout the canopy. Light defoliation was also done around prime bud spots, and the lower skirt near soil. Technically also removing lower growth that won't amount to much, aka "lollipoping." Plan for week 7 is to continue to water when dry to a PH of 6.2-6.6 and LST with light defoliation where needed. Monitoring the environment and running dehumidifier to 45% RH. Fans are blowing and these seem like they will be big girls. These are some of the bigger autos I have seen personally. *UPDATE* One plant is showing nitrogen toxicity. Leaves are curling bad at top. I took her out and flushed her, as I may have built up too much with run off when fixing the phosphorus issue. Continue to monitor and hope it recovers quickly. But have also seen a lot of other grows with similar leaf traits with downward curls, might be genetics. None the less, will let dry and water thoroughly all plants next time with PH 6.2-6.5 water. *UPDATE 2.0" So the girls soil was not good. Turns out my calibration was off on pH meter and was flushing with around 7 pH water. Read the soils and one plant, that had the claw and dark leaves, was above 7.0 soil pH. Others were below but still a bit high. Have been adjusting pH of water to about 5.8-6.2 pH for next few to help lower it. One girl is not happy. We will get the train back on the rail though.

Diese Woche gab es erst viel Regen und dann wieder ordentlich Sonne. Ich habe diese Woche auch ein paar Raubmilben im Gewächshaus ausgesetzt, da ich einen leichten Befall von Spinnmilben und Thripsen habe. Ich wollte das ganze rechtzeitig eindämmen, bevor der Befall zum Problem wird. Ansonsten entwickelt sich die Dame prächtig und wächst fleißig weiter.

It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!

This one takes the cold very well

Well it been a week since the move indoors and she is just getting accustomed to the new surroundings. Things took a couple days pause and had no growth for the first few days but she seems to have finally started to fatten up her flowers again. She is drinking about a third less water than before but maybe that will pick up some more as well since her flowers are getting bigger. She is pretty sparse in terms of vegetation so will only remove leaves on a must need basis only. Watered her this morning and she received a low dose of calmag and bloom nutrients ( King Kola) by Emerald Harvest so should see an increase in flower size shortly. Have been increasing the duration of light each night and am currently at 18/6 have been toying with the idea of going to 20/4 and beyond to get the DLI up into flowering requirements. We are stuck at 450 PPFD so I don’t think I can her too many hours of light per day. I will be watering the other two girls later today with a update for them also. Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey is recovering well. Every day is better than yesterday and the past forty eight hours have been very good with her flowers starting to grow again. Trichomes and terpines have started to show up and she is going to be very sticky and have a pleasant sweet aroma. There are already fan leaves covered in trichomes and we have only just begun the process of flowering. She lost so much during the assault. She was going to be truly special. Maybe she will still be special we will see. Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz, alive and well. Had us scared for a while as she was slow to respond for a couple of days, no growth after her assault and subsequent relocation took its toll on her but happy to see things have turned around for her and now even doing better than expected. Prayers help. Flowers are growing and she has a certain perkiness to her that is inspiring after all that she’s been through. She is a bushy girl and removed a fair amount of foliage and will need to do some more later on some here some there. Trichomes and terpines arrive and are in abundance for both. Everything is covered in trichomes even fan leaves and smells like my Uncle John’s vanilla French toast and my Aunt Shelly’s Guava jelly, amazing!

I think I got a little light burn but I got a lux meter and adjusted the light. She looks happier now. Upping to veg state dosage of nutes next week. Topped last week and started some LST yesterday. FAT stalk.. guessing that the “tree trunk” additive. Happiness. Kombucha cream!

Start of week 8

Hola a todos!! Esta semana prácticamente no he fertilizado, ya que luego de un breve lavado note que los valores de ppm aun seguía siendo alto..(1700...1800), entonces segui regando solo con agua, con bajas ppm 500 ppm aprox. Recien ayer logre bajar las ppm , no asi el ph, del drenaje, me viene dando 7.2, pero a pesar de todos estos inconvenientes, a la planta se la ve bien. En esta semana se estiro 20 cms, pero los cogollos aun están flacos y sin resina, pero en características generales esta bien. El lavado lo hice el día 44 con 7 litros de agua con ph 6 y ppm 500, luego de un buen rato de drenaje medi y en ese entonces parecían haberse corregidos, pero al siguiente riego dia 46( lo hice con 2lts de agua) me volvió a dar valores altos. Para no generar un mal ambiente para la planta, la deja descansar 2 días, y ayer (dia48) volvi a regar y al fin las ppm han bajado a 900, el ph aun sigue dando alto, pero como mencione antes la planta demuestra que cualquier inexperto la puede cultivar, porque se aguanta todo ese stress😅😅 . El video corresponde al día 49(01/10).

And the first week of flower is amongst us, I’m not sure if it’s the fast bud genetics, the living soil, or a mixture of both, but I think the videos say it all, the deep green throughout, day 41 and just look😍. Everything’s been sitting nicely 24/7 Humidity 49~56%, temps 23~26c This week they all received there last top feed, along with a slight bit of defoliation, some massive fan leaves! slightly over watered as you will notice in one of the videos, but I won’t be surprised if they’ve grew another few inches over night.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. Esta semana los nutrientes siguen de la misma manera, es notorio el exceso de Nitrogeno por ende se disminuira en los próximos riegos, se realizaron podas apicales en los clones que no les hice anteriormente para que alcanzaran más altura. Dentro de esta semana instalare la malla scrog Kanovi para guiar los vigorosos brotes. Además esta semana ya esta retomando el crecimiento la planta madre variedad Tangie la cual cumplió su ciclo de propagación por esquejes y porfin florecerá. My first coco grow...2 plants Well one of the plants became a tree🤭 1. northern light auto untopped in spider farmer tent 150x150 cm (5×5) with Aptus nutrients...this one goes out of control...let see if I can repeat this crazyness 2. northern light auto topped in spider farmer tent 70x70 cm and mainly TA nutrients Nutrients mentioned above are for NL topped (2.) in smaller tent (pictures follow) NL untopped (F-MILF) got this week the following: Aptus Topbooster 6 drops/l Aptus P-boost 12 drops/l Aptus K-boost 6 drops/l Aptus regulator 3 drops/l Aptus All in one 0.6 ml/l Aptus CaMg 0.6 ml/l TA Silicate 0.4g/l For tree days got (installed self-watering): Plagron Coco A 2.2 ml/l Plagron Coco B 2.2 ml/l Aptus K-boost 6 drops Xpert CalMg 2 ml/l (better for self watering (more fluent), the other Aptus solution leaves too much residues) Next two weeks completely self watering (2 weeks off)

10/5 Im still alive. Just incredibly busy with no help. Still have a few outside. Pulled the dreamcatchers and they are drying. A week or so for the others. I'm letting the last ones go as long as possible. I'll try to complete the harvest and smoke reports as i had taken tester branches before the harvest. So much work though. For some reason trichs pics aren't showing up. 10/6 Watered today. Calyxes are swollen and I've got SOME Amber trichs but we have good weather for the upcoming week. Lots of sun so I'm leaving the remainder for a little bit. I'm checking daily.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Wow, 89g of dry weight from just that one plant! I have to say I'm disappointed to find that mold developed on one of the main buds. To be on the safe side, I decided to discard about half of the main stem (11g). I'll definitely keep a close eye on the rest during the curing stage to ensure no more mold appears. Despite this setback, it was an absolute pleasure to grow this plant. The aroma is incredibly captivating, with a strong and delightful citrusy scent that really stands out. It's been a rewarding experience overall, and I look forward to seeing how it all turns out in the end.
