All of the dosidos’ ended up dying. Hope it was a case of weak genetics and not my incompetence because the northern lights seems to be completely okay, and we’re about 2 and a half weeks in now. Next node is coming in and the plant is really kicking into fast growth now around 4~5th May.

DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

These 8 plants had a vegetative period of 3 months and grown organically, these ladies had a lot of training and came out beautifully except 1 plant which was both over and under watered. I don't seem to understand why these plants are not smelly at all literally there is no smell, not while in vegetative stage and nor in flowering, don't know is this a bad or good thing while trichomes are clearly visible at day 7 of flowering.

11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1.5 hours. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wad 465grams.

Here goes first flowering week. Black cream auto with LST started her way to turn purple too, but the biggest black cream auto plant and mutant one are still green. I think they look great !

The weather in my country suddenly got warmer unexpectedly. That's why I'm having problems with the temperature. Still, it seems to be going well for now. I watered on the 51st day. I will do it again today and with full fertilizer.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Did some tie down on the side branches to help with light penetration. When I touch her, she gives off a amazing lemon sweet fuel smell, very intoxicating can't wait to cure it. Hairs are starting turn. She has been loveing a 6.8- 7 ph as well. Had a healthy feed. Added norish-L (humic acid). @ 2 drop/L

This is the last day of her life. Shes getting a bath of sun with 40c outside. After she will finish in the dark until i harvest her tomorrow Shes trying to get pollinated by throwing some new pistils here and there, but trichomes are cloudy mostly with amber tone. Not a lot of clear one.
