π Cultivation Diary: The 12/12 Flip & Transition Week

June 5, 2026 (Veg Day 17)
Irrigation/Reservoir: Prepared a full 100L reservoir refresh.
Nutrients: Kept the feeding aggressive with a double dose of vegetative nutrition (x2 Nutrient formula) to ensure the root zones and plant tissues are fully stocked with elements before the transition.
Canopy Observation:the canopy is thick, uniform, and fully occupying the table space. The trellis net is officially filled out, and the lower branches are strong and rigid.

June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Flower / Bloom Week 1)
The Flip: Officially switched the timers to a 12/12 photoperiod (Lights ON at 6:00 PM / Lights OFF at 6:00 AM).
Schedule: First irrigation shot triggers exactly 1 hour after lights on (7:00 PM), followed by a shot every 1.5 hours.
Volume: Configured the drip stakes to run for 1 minute per shot, delivering 5 shots total per day. This provides roughly 450ml per plant per day, creating excellent target dry-backs overnight to force vigorous root searching.

June 11, 2026 (Day 6 of Flower / Bloom Week 1)
Irrigation/Reservoir: Bumped reservoir capacity up to 110β120L to keep up with increased transpiration as the plants begin their post-flip stretch.
Nutrient Recipe (TargetingpH 6.0 EC 2.5
Water: 110β120L
Athena Cleanse: 120ml
Silica: 220ml (Essential for stem strength during the stretch)
CalMag: 10ml
Athena Bloom: 600ml (Adjusting base to target 1.2β1.3 EC from Bloom component)
Athena Core: 400ml
Irrigation Adjustments: Increased the shot duration slightly to 1 minute and 15 seconds to match the accelerating growth pace.
The early flowering stretch has officially begun. The tops are noticeably pushing past the trellis net layers, and the node spacing remains tight and stacked. Leaf color is an excellent dark green with healthy, bright yellow-green shoots driving upward at the growth tips. No signs of stress or stalling from the schedule shift.

D57/F13 - 27/05/23 - Added sunset and sunrise (only red lights for 1,5 hours at the start and 1,5 at the end)
D58/F14 - 28/05/23 - I set up my AFD (see picture). I find a way to feed her automaticly when I 'll be out, Every day I start the pump for 30 sec (about) to give her 2 liters of nutes with my AFS (Automatic Feeding System)
D59/F15 - 29/05/23 - Automatic feeding
D60/F16 - 30/05/23 - Automatic feeding
D61/F17 - 31/05/23 - Automatic feeding
D62/F18 - 01/06/23 - Automatic feeding
D63/F19 - 02/06/23 - I'm back, Nora looks ok, automatic feeding works. A little bit of problem with timelaps framing, but it's ok, I've got all info I need. EC 0.9 and pH 6.5

Week 5 for Peyote Zkittlez by seedsman,
She's really starting to push in size, just from last weeks update she's been topped twice more at the top. I also transplanted her from 5L to 25L yesterday as she was drinking water everyday in the 5L pot so clearly time for a new home. π
Probably going to be keeping her indoor until some of my autos outdoors finish up in a month or so. Just going to giver her a few more days to adjust to the new pot then ill be pulling her as wide as i can side ways.

Things are going good, I am beginning to think about when to harvest. I have tried capturing some microscope shots of the trichomes with a 15x macro lens (BlitzWolf), but they turned out awful. They still look transparent and glasslike, and I did not see many, if any, amber trichomes.
I am going on vacation next week, and wonder if plant will be fine with not being harvested before the 8th of July, two weeks from now.
Day 3: Watered
Day 4: Macro shots. Trichomes look transparent and glasslike, but since this is my first grow, any input from experienced growers is very welcome :-)
Day 7: Watered. No amber trichomes in sight, I will wait one more week before the harvest.

Well 46.5 grams from a solo cup grow seems pretty good. It was my first attempt at doing this. Was a personal challenge, and glad I experienced it. I did move the cup around the room during grow. The herb is very fruity smelling and is a very pleasant aroma. Thank you again Amsterdam marijuana seeds. Was a excellent autoflower, and a beautiful solo cup grow. 02/07 - Prepped for cloning - applied heavy defoliation - isolated clone cuttings - prepping 15 clones for 4x4 - running mother in veg for about 3 maybe 4 more weeks then flipping into flower (02/25).

02/13 (M) - Prepping to flip - last 2 weeks have been only clean water feeds to flush veg nutes - Clean water feeds will continue through week 2 of flower by which I will begin feeding flower nutes in micro-doses and will gradually increse thorugh harvest.
02/13 (C) - No new update on the clones - They got a little funky last week but since then they have bounced back - initial rooting has begun.

She was defoliated on 10/21 and is going super hard into the stacking phase. The smell is of straight up chemicals and black pepper. Those giant colas are as big around as a soda can and rock hard. I will definitely have to take them apart to dry them without risking mold.

Topped again and allowed her to recover also flipped into a 12/12 at the end of this week . Everything is going well overall with my grow . I did a little defoliation as well.

FERMAKOR KOH Extraction β Update
Last time I said the batch would be done in 3β4 days, but I made a last-moment change. I added fresh cannabis leaves, branches, and pistils to help buffer the extra KOH, fix the PK imbalance, and see if I can bring it into line without using citric acid.
Reaction so far: greens are breaking down fast, adding nitrogen while soaking up some of the excess alkalinity.
Smell: strong ammonia, but not rotten β typical of proteins and chlorophyll being stripped out.
Texture: slurry has darkened, foam is down, liquid looks stable.
Plan: let it sit a couple more days stirring, then check if itβs ready to use and use some citric acid in case the pH is still to high and "force" it ready.

explosion of growth this week, along with it the first signs of flower.
as a result I have made the choice to not clone this girl for reversal, and instead just enjoy her in her entirety.
she's fully recovered and bounced back now.
I would love to see a stretch!

On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700.
On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day.
On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days.
On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm.
On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well.
On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like.
On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

First week cultivation of the 5 BlueDream seeds. I broke the dormancy of the seeds in a container with water for 30hrs. After that I used the napkin technique to germinate the seeds for another 16 hours. In this cycle I will use 4 3-gallon pots and 1 2-gallon pot which I hope will have enough light with my 1000W Greens Indoor LED panel. I prepared 2 liters of water with 0.4 ml of GHE rapid star and kept the water PH at 6.2 and 1.8 mS /cm EC. I left a plastic with some openings to try to increase the humidity of the air.
