This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. A heartfelt thank you to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this amazing contest. The quality of the products and the support throughout the journey have been invaluable. As this chapter concludes, I'm left with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for the collective experience we've shared. The plant's growth, from seed to harvest, has been a testament to the art and science of cultivation. Feel free to check out my other adventures in my bigger environments, until then...happy growing! Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

Greetings, fellow cultivators and enthusiasts of the green realm! Week 7 of our Apolo F1's botanical odyssey has unfolded with a sense of urgency, as she races towards harvest with astonishing speed. Join me as we delve into the world of autoflowers, where time bends and nature's clock reigns supreme. In the realm of autoflowers, time moves like a river, swift and unyielding. Our Apolo F1 is a testament to this enchanting phenomenon, progressing at a pace that defies expectations. With each passing day, she inches closer to her moment of glory, a testament to the genetic marvel that is the autoflower. The floral symphony reaches a crescendo as our green virtuoso enters the later stages of flowering. Buds swell and mature with remarkable speed, painting the canopy in hues of green and gold. It's a sight to behold, a testament to the accelerated growth and vitality inherent in autoflowers. Despite the rapid pace, we remain vigilant, knowing that nature's timing is the ultimate arbiter. While our Apolo F1 may be racing towards harvest, we must respect her journey and allow her to dictate the pace. The moon on harvest day beckons, but patience is the virtue that will ensure a truly celestial yield. As we marvel at the accelerated growth and breathtaking beauty of our Apolo F1, it's worth reflecting on the brilliance of autoflowers. These genetic marvels have revolutionized cultivation, offering a streamlined experience without sacrificing yield or quality. It's a testament to the ingenuity of nature and the boundless possibilities of genetic engineering. Amidst the whirlwind of growth, the nutrient-rich serenade persists. The transition from veg to flower mix continues to fuel our green companion's journey, ensuring she has all the nourishment needed to reach her full potential. The aqueous symphony plays on, a constant companion in this botanical adventure. A heartfelt thank you to Aptus Holland for crafting the nutrient symphony that fuels our green odyssey, and to Royal Queen Seeds for providing the genetic star of our celestial spectacle. The journey thus far has been nothing short of magical, and we continue to marvel at the wonders of nature's timekeeper. Join me in the next chapter of our Apolo F1 Mission Diary, where we'll witness the final sprint towards harvest and celebrate the culmination of this extraordinary journey. Last week flew by beautifully, and everything is looking great! 🌿✨ To test their stress response, I slightly reduced the ladies' nutrient supply. Now, everything is back on track with normal parameters, and they’re thriving again 💪. The excess potassium from earlier has had an interesting effect – the buds have become so heavy that some of the branches can no longer support their weight! 😅 I’ve already had to set up some supports, as you’ll see in the first video from day one of the new week 🎥🌱. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to follow along as we watch these beauties continue to develop into something amazing! 🌺📸

I chopped the Glookies on day 70F, on day 74F I decided to chop the remaining GMO and Acapulco Gold. I didn't feed or water the last week as the soil was still pretty moist and I wanted to harvest soon-ish anyways, they faded quickly in the last few days.

Week 11 August 11 —- Breeding Project—- We recently had a run of Sour Diesel and I decided to take the only male from that batch and cross it to some clones, one being the Cerezaz strain. The goal of this cross is to find faster flowering (45-55 days) plants and also increase yield as the Cerezaz is a timid producer and Sour Diesel is generally a medium to high yielded. Other characteristics we are looking for are: sour, berries, cherries, diesel, gas on the nose ( although unique combinations are welcome), decrease light sensitivity( Sour diesel was sensitive to light intensity) as well as breed in some resistance to heat from the Cerezaz as she did outstanding in 90+ heat indoors. Currently this batch of Polyhybrid F1s are exhibiting mostly the sour diesel traits: generally more tall and lanky, leaves closer to the main stem and drooping( as seen in some landrace sativas) and the stem rub is chemical, soap astringent with a slight savory berry backend with large fat fingered leaves. The other pheno is squat with very good lateral side branching and grows slower height wise medium sized leaves and the fingers are neither skinny nor fat but generally on the thicker side. Similar nose on these but more Cerezaz leaning so the berry, cherry sweet is more noticeable. With all that being said these ladies are top dressed and just got flipped into flower! So come along for the ride! 💪🏾

112 days!!!! This week was very difficult for the girl, because it rained a lot, but from today the weather forecast promises only good weather, I hope it will be so, next Saturday, I'm going on a long vacation, the girl will be without me for 3 weeks, so I won't be able to hide her from bad weather, I will leave the automatic watering which I will control via wifi, once a week I will ask a person to come to water with nutrients and take photos, :) so there will be weekly updates, but with fewer photos:) good luck to everyone :)

Not really done much last week, they got a bit of light burn from LED. Which I've now move up. But new growth seems to be doing ok. Cover crops are coming on fantastic. 26/6 Friday V) She is the bid sister of the group so I'm going to top her today 29/6 V) Has got 4 new grow tips started where I topped her. The rest are catching up nicely now. Will start some LST in the next couple of days. 2/7 Done a bit if training on the girls today. Bent four of them over. The fifth one that I topped I didn't bend her yet, I just did some leaf tucking and she is coming on fantastic. 3/7 They have all bounced back brilliantly and heading towards the lights. 5/7 End of week 3 and going to do some more LST on them as the have bounced back from the last lot of training.

Dutch Passion - Melonads Runtz, 60 days since we planted the seed in soil, and she’s now standing tall at 85 cm, looking absolutely explosive! This girl is thriving, with vibrant growth and strong structure. We’ve been feeding her with Xpert Nutrients, and you can see the results – lush, healthy leaves and a promising amount of bud sites. It’s clear she’s loving the care and attention, and we’re excited to see what the next weeks bring!

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Looks like I guessed right with the seed swap because this girl has clearly shown she's the LSD-25 this past week. Very excited for my first purple plant since I wasn't able to pull much purple out of my Chocolate Mint OG in my first grow. Glad I have 2 more seeds of this strain so I can give them a better chance at growing up before flower in a future grow. Maf' looks like a Solo Cup Challenge in a 5gal pot 😅 Adjusted the LST and clipped two fan leaves between the top nodes to give the secondary sites a bit more light (Not shown in Day 44 pics) Fed with the same PH Perfect MGB/Molasses mix but upped the MGB to .75ml a gal split between the 3 plants I have going now and given a water chaser to keep the top layer clean from build up. Day 48 - 12/16 Gave another wash out feeding with gallon and a half of Water/Molasses mix split between the LSD and two Cali Snows. Also added D-Earth as a preventative measure on the soil since they're starting to form buds. Trying to avoid any future harmful chems or oils on the flowers if some little buggers decide to move in plus it kind of adds silica when you water it in. Pulled the plants out for a good look and slight LST adjustment. Not much to do on the LSD-25 since she set flower early and the size/structure is locked in. Can only lean and spread to try and get the small amount of bud sites to fatten as much as possible. It is very exciting to watch the purple starting to form in the buds and leaves. She won't be big but I'll try and make her pretty fo sure 😈 Not too much smell to her yet but it could also be due to the fact that the Cali Snows I have are starting to get their stank on and probably overpowering anything the LSD is throwing out. Day 50 - 12/18 Biggest feed so far! Split 1.5ml each of PH Perfect MGB kit and 2 tsp across 2 gallons of feeding solution. LSD-25 got 0.5ml each + 1tsp Molasses and chased with a couple more litres (You imperial American's got me all messed up on this site) Will give a day to dry a bit before giving the top layer of soil a spray down with water to get rid of any residue then top with a D-Earth sprinkle and let sit until it's time for another feed. This is the fun phase of having to take pictures every day or else you don't notice just how big the buds are starting to get day by day! Might be able to get an early chop and dry for some uncured taste testing before New Years depending on how long I let her go to maximize bud size on such a small girl 😛 Thanks for stopping in, throw down a like so I can return the favour, will update through the week! 🙌 IG: @GlazedGrow
