Stretch is in full swing. She's really starting to drink a lot at this point. Midweek: really focusing on defoliation this week to open up the canopy and get as much light to bud sights as possible. Increased light output to 100% and lamp to plant distance to about 70cm giving me a bigger light footprint. End of Week: canopy is filling nice and evenly. May have to leave some lower branches on after harvest but we'll see. Next couple of weeks should be exciting.

everything is fine, the rains have stopped and it seems that the plants are quite mature, I think I will harvest them next week. It has been 2 weeks without watering with fertilizer, making the washing of roots as natural as possible. They have developed a very beautiful purple color in just 2 weeks, because of the stress caused by the cold. I have also found some worm and some rotten bud but usually it is holding very well. I found a leaf of a very powerful pink color, much more than I had ever seen, and that color is not repeated throughout the plant, I leave some photos. chekit

Getting a little crispy on the tops within 1 inch of the light. But all and all plant is healthy happy and starting to smell wonderful. Looking like a full 9 weeks of flower needed.

Another freezing cold week !! Before having this plant, i thought that a plant would never survive with this temperatures... but this Afghan Kush proved im wrong, whats amazing because this plants strenght is remarkable, the buds i noticed, are not developing as fast as in September/October, basic grower logic but we are having between 8-14 ºC during the day and 2-5ºC at night.. Wider range of colours, i spot like Purple, Deep green, and even shades of Violet and blue, its incredible :D Last feedings, finished like in the middle of this week and the buds developement degree is telling me, its flush time ... Spotted a few white aphids, but only on the leaves, so not a problem.. Having in mind the temperatures they are not lasting so much hahaha its the good thing Last weeks of life, and i suppose she will be yellowing more during the next week. Start of week 2 There growing like clock work taking the first nutrients like a champ and now we have improved there invoirment they going to take off. Finally have put up the new setup from spider farmer together and I am very pleased with a modern version more control and can watch from distance what's going on . Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. This Gorilla, has went ape. All I need to do now, is nurse it to harvest, to get bigger buds,I want dense nuggets. But more than having nuggets, I need it’s potency to be on deadly level, I want smokers to crash after smoking. Or I would only get that if I was growing Gorilla Glue.

Oh my goodness this has to be the most massive bad I've ever had forming. This lady is going to be the densest & most potent plant I've ever grown I can just tell. She loves the environment. I've been trying hard to keep temps cool but was away for a few days and didnt wanna risk leaving the window open to animals without bieng home :/ but I tried hard and the girls look GREAT.
