Hi Growmies,
welcome back to week 3 of my Fast Buds Auto Grow!
Weather and Conditions
The weather gods have gone completely insane. Here in good old Germany, it feels like everything is melting down — including me! 😅
We've been hitting around 36°C for the last few days, and even nighttime temperatures have stayed well above 25°C. Perfect conditions for a serious growth spurt.
At this point, I already have to water the girls daily, which is quite unusual this early in the grow.
Growth
The ladies are absolutely thriving right now.
Ever since I started the first round of LST, all shoots seem determined to race upwards. Of course, I'm not allowing that and keep bending them back down whenever necessary.
Growth feels noticeably more explosive than in previous years. My guess is that the Plagron Bat Mix is playing a major role here. Combined with the weekly dose of Bokashi juice, the girls seem to be loving life.
Pests
Thanks to the hot weather, snails are no longer much of a concern.
So far, I haven't spotted any unwanted visitors such as thrips or aphids either. Hopefully it stays that way, although all the ants and aphids in the neighborhood seem to be having one massive party on my two giant sunflowers.
Looks like the distraction strategy is working pretty well. 😄
Continuing LST
The girls have responded very well to the training and are already developing a nice structure.
Unfortunately, I had a little accident while adjusting the LST on my Apricot girl. I managed to snap the main stem, which really pissed me off because she was growing exceptionally well.
I patched her up with a bit of duct tape and now it's a waiting game. I'm curious to see if the top recovers and keeps growing. Cannabis can be surprisingly resilient, so fingers crossed.
Let's see how well I can keep them under control if they continue growing at this pace. It's going to get interesting over the next couple of weeks.

The girls are healthy, growing fast, and enjoying the summer weather. Apart from my little Apricot mishap, I couldn't ask for much more at this stage.

After a incredible stretch in the first week of flower she continues to grow vigorously now to almost 60cm.
Small defoliation/lollipop 🍭 on the bottom was needed to maintain her on top form, after defoliation a faint smell of lemon/lemongrass filled the air around the plant, which shows the tendencies for this to be a citrus powerful one.
She is also showing thin Sativa like leaves with vivid light green, I like that a lot in my grows

Today I’ve taken off the top buds. They were looking ready under a microscope. Hopefully the rest of the buds are ready in a couple of days.

Fast grow from day 7 till today day 14. I have added a humidifier to help get my RH up cause it was too low. It is still not as good as i would like, but its okay. I started doing some LST and leaf tucking on Day 12 on the biggest plants and those i felt like could benefit from it. Today i lowered my lights so now my MH 600w light is down to 50cm from the canopy and the LED is at 45cm.
I also bought a Lux meter (Urceri Cloc – Lux Meter) to measure but im really confused about it after it showed that the LED puts out way more Lux than the 600MH but its supposed to be better at measuring HID light and not catch all the light from the full spectrum LED but still the LED seems to work better. You can judge yourself with the video ill post with this update. The 2 biggest plants is under the 600W bulb though, so there is alot to take in count at this moment.
Also i removed one more plant, so now the total is 16 plants and i will continue experimint with the height of the lamps. I would love some feedback 😎
Day 15: I took both lights up to 64cm.. Changed the MH bulb to a Full spectrum Bulb which gives more light to my girls
Day 20: posted new pictures, its going good until now, i just wish they were a little bigger but i have many different phenotypes it seems. When they go into flower i may add 400w more hps, but only if they will get big enough

▶️Saturday 10.21.23 Removed the humidity domes today, the humidity in the closet is sitting above 75% pushing 80% RH, and will be misting for a few more days, the pushed down just enough to keep the plants engaged, for the next week will maintain the 24h light cycle, then reduce to 20 for week 2 and 18 for week 3 for the rest of the grow. Lost 1 of the 3 seedlings, looks like I did not have it planted very well and it came up and fell over, if it was a photoperiod I would have put it back into a paper towel and neutered it, and replanted, but a stunted Auto produces less fruit.
▶️Wednesday 10.25.23 - These ladies are doing well, and just starting to grow, going to move the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6 on Saturday.

22-05-21 Se cambia la solución y se realiza un lavado de raíces. Para bajar la conductividad de las raíces de 0.81 a 0.2 ms. Se añade una pastilla de CO2.
Última semana no se abona nada y se baja la temperatura a 16 °C. PH de 6,5
23-05-21 PH 6.5 Conductividad 0.29 ms. Se baja la temperatura de 24 a 15 °C
24-05-21 PH 6.5 Conductividad 0.44 ms.
26-05-21 se deja sin riego y sin luz 48 horas antes de cosechar

This week was a battle...lost power for 3 days in the beginning of the week. N the humidity was a 96% with cold temps in 67°...once the power came on made some adjustments. Didn't water them for5 days . Removed all clovers n alfalfa. Removed all fan leaves affected by the high humidity. And cleaned up the area abit...the temp n humidity are now at a steady 74° n humidity at 47%..they healed up nice . And watered them and they began to bloom some more...I harvested the super skunks autos as they wer just about done. N good timing too. Helped reduce humidity in the tent....they are currently drying n will update on how well the harvest went.. n for these blueberry 420 they still need more time. Will update on how they finish up

Things are looking great! I started some backup seeds when things were looking really rough. Just in case. 😉 I also FIM’d my bigger plants because they were looking so much better! I have also removed the drip irrigation, just to make it more of a personable experience with my ladies. ☀️💦

Plant has now been moves outside in the terrible british weather. The plant is absolutely loving it. So many buds have developed and now turning a nice purple colour. Also now has a very sweet smell.

Start of 10th week and i decided to flush given almost 45L of clean water & been carefull with temperature of water! the laddies are looking well faded, and i hope to get a super clean medicine :) made some trim also on fan leaves to have better light penetration on lower canopy! Buds are looking dense, frosty & smelly!

She finished up just in time for a round of some real bad weather rolling on twice this week. I had to bring inside one night or else they would have been hammered. I took them out the next morning because they were so stinky and got some a few solid last days of sun before another bad storm. I cut down the morning of and is drying whole in my studio around 65F and 60% humidity. I may press a little rosin with this one but plan on keeping this one mostly for the flower as Its been a whole since no fresh flower. Looking like a pretty decent harvest. May be my best auto flower harvest yet.

5/28 Leaves are looking a lot better now that they have some room to spread themselves apart, no signs of furthering nutrient problems or overwatering issues.
5/29 Noticed what I'm pretty sure is a potassium deficiency. Freaked me out at first but the browning tips looks exactly like the picture I see online. It's not very widespread so I cut the effected leaves off, I'm hopeful it's residual effects of the insanely high ec. Regardless of the issues the plant is still growing really well and I was able to tie down a main branch around the entire pit almost except one area, but that ended up making it easier to water.
5/30 Potassium deficiency has spread a little but not much. Even though I watered till runoff yesterday (as I always try to do) the plant was dry and light today, so I watered her with nutrient solution at about 1.3 EC and runoff was about 2.2, little too high
6/1 Calcium toxicity. Shows as brown reddish spots and can present as potassium, manganese, iron etc deficiencies which is exactly what I've been seeing. There was quite a few leaves showing the blackish rust color so I cut them all and watered with nute solution at ~.72 EC. Will see if the problem continues to develop, however judging by the color of the growing shoots she is still growing quickly.
6/2 I found a couple of leaves that had evidence of damage but they were so hard to find I could very well have missed them the other days. I cut all effected leaves I could find off again, and will check tomorrow. Rearranged the plants a little to avoid this one from getting blasted by space heater. Untangled all growing shoots.
6/3 Found I think two or three effected leaves, mostly already effected leaves that I had just cut the currently effected blades off of the other days, and one leaf that looked too far damaged to be new damage but I will remain vigilant. Watered clean water, runoff ~1.75EC, almost where I want it.

So far so good
The blueberry g13 is tall with big buds it would seem the crystals are already in full force.
The white widow has lots of leaves and I can’t see any crystals yet.
The red dragon is looking good crystals are starting to show
I wish I would have taken more leaves off the white widow.
Smell is still just normal
All in all a good week.
The buds are growing bigger every day I expect they should be joining up by the end of next week
