Update - Tuesday 22nd June To be honest this week hasn’t gone great. I noticed some fruit flies or fungus gnats. There are only a few and they don’t seem to be attracted to the buds at all. None the less for the moment I have put some cider vinegar, soap and water and put t in as wide a surface area as possible and there are quite a few stuck in there after a day. Iv also ordered some of those sticky traps to put around the edge of the pot. Luckily I’m getting rid of my media, the tent, everything inside the tent and will be using a paint spray gun to spray ozonated water or if it’s really expensive then just hydro strength hydro peroxide will be used to spray all surfaces of the room.

The plants are happy and their buds are growing, although not super quickly. Sour lemon OG is definitely the most pollinated and its buds are the airiest with seeds emerging. The hermie in the backyard fell over last night and snapped a few branches :( I patched him up and I hope he's okay! Humidity is still high but dropping (75% RH today) as the weather outside gets cooler.

The experiment is going good in my opinion she’s stretching out a bit and got about four or five nodes on each of her main branches I moved her in her own tent cause she is going to be to wide in there with my other chicks I got her under a viper spectra 100 watt light in the other tent she wasn’t getting the light she needed cause she was pushed off to the side but she’s good now got her own and should really take off now I’m excited to see how it goes until next time happy growing peace I trimmed a lil bit and took some pipe cleaners and tied the four branches down she trying to grow outwards just need a lil direction and her other nodes tied down so far so good if you shop fast buds use my discount code #kygrow get a 15% discount on the whole store and it’ll help me out too peace

This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

Os fertilizantes tenho usado alternadamente em intervalos de 3 a 4 dias entre as regas . Pois tive que recolher as plantas para a estufa. Quebrei as ponteiras para não alongar muito a planta pois tenho limites de altura da iluminação e quero ver se ela fica mais cheia de botões no caule .

Week 8 day 56. Trichomes are turning milky, most still clear. I should of defoliated before but this being my 1st auto flower and me being a newbie I didn't want to take the chance. Lessons learnt for next time. Day 61. Approaching 9 week mark. Buds are getting frosty. Not sure if I should give more nutrient or just continue topping up with water. No sign of amber. Pistils on top buds are changing to brown.

Regardez vous pouvez observer des orties qui poussent aux pieds des plants. Cela indique un substrat au ph un peu acide et surtout chargé en azote (les orties vont consommer le surplus d'azote et aider à équilibrer le ph du substrat😛). Les conditions de culture ne font pas tout. Chaque variété et aussi chaque phénotype de cannabis ont des besoins différents pour exprimer leur potentiel. La génétique compte beaucoup et donc poser des critères concrets et les respecter pour selectionner les parents de la graine par le Breeder est treeeeeeees treeeeees important). Il me semble plus judicieux pour quelqu'un qui veut de la qualité de travailler avec une variété voir des clones d'une variété et d'apprendre à connaître ses besoins pour optimiser l'expression de certains gènes qui l'intéressent. Par exemple ici : Vous pouvez observer que dans les mêmes conditions climatiques et d'exposition à la lumière, des plants de variétés différentes vont réagir différemment aux conditions environnementales et vont être différents en terme de structure (épaisseur des branches, hauteur en cm, espace entre les étages, coloration des feuilles). De mes retours d'expériences,la qualité gustative du produit fini dépend à environ : 70% de la génétique 🏆 15% de la culture🥈 15% du séchage et de l'affinage🥈 Je parle bien de qualité gustative, pas d'esthétique ni de quantité. Sorry I missed a lot of updates. I was recovering from hand surgery then gd was not working right. She has a sweet earthy brown sugar smell. She did well for the limitrd care I could provide while I recovered. Was a good grow and I am excited to get to try her soon. Trichomes started to get cloudy and some of them have already turned amber. I hope to harvest next week but for now they are still too many clear trichomes. All the plants are now watered with clear water until the harvest. Some leaves almost turned yellow directly after the nutrient stop, especially on the OG Kush. The Honey Melon Haze is now mostly standing up thanks to the strings that support it. Hopefully the harvest is coming soon!

6/17 Buds are forming fast and furious now and the stretch has stopped. I’m happy with how it all looks so defoliation is over for the duration of the grow. The smells are starting to ramp up too. Opening the tent now gives off a subtle orange and vanilla smell. Only issue is that it’s been raining off and on now for the past week and my humidity levels in the tent are a little higher than I’d like. Not the end of the world though. 6/18 Upped the light a touch. The highest reading I can get is 670 PAR / 29 DLI, but some other bud sites at the top are only getting around 600 PAR. I suppose that’s a consequence of having my bar light that close to the canopy as the areas between the bars will have less light. I will just have to keep in mind to veg a little less next time. 6/21 Fan leaves are in an aggressive praying stance. I did start to see a few leaves with small yellow spots appearing. Before just assuming it’s the light I did some additional poking around and discovered my VPD was a bit too high. I broke out the humidifier so I can more easily maintain the correct RH and so far things look perfect and are now dialed in. I’ll leave the light as is for now since we’re still technically on the low side of things. 6/22 Looking in today I saw a few problem areas with leaves stacked up on top of each other. I decided to do one more round of defoliation, focusing on any leaves that are right up on other leaves or any leaves that were egregiously pushed onto the side of the tent. By the time I was done my forearms were sticky all over. Lots of additional frost on every bud site too. Everything is going nicely.

Overall good week finally setup my double trellis net, I hate it because my room so small and I have to crawl all around to get anything done. Plants were looking good a few branches which are completely unnoticeable looked like they suffer from nutrient burn. Beside that we taking off. I’m expecting some significant changes in the coming weeks.
