Las plantas muestran buen aspecto Comentaros una curiosidad. la nº3 creció como diploide y después de cortar el apical y bifurcase en dos una de las ramas tendió a Triploide, tan solo una de las ramas, la otra rama es bien diferente, ni tan solo salen dos ramas por nudo, ni tan solo seria una diploide convencional. A finales de semana volvieron a bajar las temperaturas en el exterior y se hizo algo mas complicado mantener un buen ambiente. We started the week happily, with good temperatures and low humidity. The plants are looking good. Here's an interesting tidbit: plant #3 grew as a diploid, and after I cut the apical bud and it split in two, one of the branches tended towards triploid. Only one of the branches, though; the other branch is quite different. It doesn't even produce two branches per node, nor would it even be a conventional diploid. At the end of the week, the temperatures outside dropped again, making it a bit more difficult to maintain a good growing environment.

What up fam, weekly update on these gorgeous girls. They're showing preflowers now which I'm definitely happy as that means the stretch is almost over. I did add a 2nd scrog net its 6ft high. Now time to see them fatten up. Over all I couldn't be happier with how they've grown. Happy Growing.

👑 Godfather OG – Pheno A Week 8 | The Demanding Queen Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! If last week Godfather OG Pheno A was reaching for the sky, this week she's making something very clear... She's demanding. 👑 Of all the ladies in the room, this phenotype has been one of the harder ones to keep up with. She seems to want more food, more attention, more everything. While the rest of the room follows along quite comfortably, she keeps asking for just a little bit more. But that's also what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. Twelve genetics. One environment. One feeding strategy. 24 completely different personalities. And Godfather OG Pheno A definitely has a personality. 🌱 A Plant That Keeps Asking for More At approximately 169 cm, she's still one of the tallest plants in the room. The impressive part isn't simply her height, though. It's how much flower development she's carrying along that structure. She's still stretching, still reaching, and still building new flower sites while gradually transitioning toward heavier production. Keeping up with her hasn't always been easy, but she's rewarding the extra attention with some beautiful development. 🌸 The Flowers Are Starting to Get Interesting This is probably what I'm enjoying most this week. The bud formation is becoming much more obvious, and the flowers are beginning to take on their own shape rather than simply looking like early clusters. There's a lot of fresh white pistil growth, increasingly visible resin production, and a structure that makes me very curious about where she'll end up. And then there's the smell... She's starting to develop an aroma that is becoming increasingly noticeable every time I work around her. I have a feeling this girl may surprise me. It's still too early to make any predictions, but she's certainly giving me reasons to keep watching closely. 🍃 A Lighter Shade of Green One thing that's particularly noticeable this week is the lighter coloration in some of her foliage. She's not wearing the same deep green uniformity as some of the other phenotypes, and there are areas of lighter green across the leaves. Considering how demanding she has been nutritionally, it's something I'm keeping an eye on. At the same time, the plant is continuing to grow, the flowers are developing, and the overall structure remains beautiful. So rather than trying to immediately "fix" something that isn't necessarily broken, I'm watching her response and letting the plant tell me where she wants to go. That's part of the experiment. ✂️ No Defoliation... Yet We're not defoliating Godfather OG Pheno A this week. Her natural structure is still giving the flowers plenty of room, and I don't feel the need to interfere just for the sake of doing something. Eventually, she will probably receive the same treatment as some of the others. But for now... She gets to be herself. Sometimes the best cultivation technique is knowing when to leave the scissors alone. 🍽️ Feeding the Queen As always in the 8×8 Adventure, the room continues to follow a shared feeding strategy. This week's nutrition included: Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L Power Buds – 1 ml/L Lemon Kick – 0.03 ml/L when required The increase in Terra Bloom is part of the room's flowering strategy rather than something specifically adjusted for this phenotype. But Godfather OG Pheno A certainly seems to be one of the ladies asking us to pay attention to what that feeding produces. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions The room remains remarkably consistent: Day temperature: 29°C Night temperature: 25°C Humidity: 60% pH: 6.0 TDS/EC: approximately 2.0 mS/cm Solution temperature: 22°C Root-zone temperature: 21°C CO₂: 639 ppm Watering: approximately 1.4 L per plant / 24h Light schedule: 12/12 Height: 169 cm And that's exactly what makes her behaviour so interesting. The environment hasn't changed dramatically. She has. 👑 The Queen May Have a Surprise Coming Looking at her this week, I keep coming back to the same thought: There might be something special hiding inside this phenotype. She's demanding. She's hungry. She's tall. She's still developing. And she's beginning to smell very, very interesting. She's certainly not the easiest girl in the room. But sometimes the difficult ones are the ones that teach us the most. And when I look at those flowers developing along her towering structure, I can't help wondering what she's going to look like when she finally decides that stretching is over and it's time to put everything into the flowers. This week marks Week 18 of veg for the Pineapple Upside Down, and things are getting interesting. The plant is still pushing hard, stacking growth on all sides — more height, more volume, more density. She’s clearly in that phase where she’s comfortable, full of energy, and ready to take every bit of space you give her. But that’s exactly where the challenge begins. Right now, I still can’t move her into the bloom tent. There’s another plant finishing inside, so the space isn’t free yet. And that delay changes the whole strategy, because this girl is getting tall — fast. So the main question of the week is the same one I’ve been wrestling with for a while: Should I let her stretch and plan a SCROG, or should I top her to keep things low and contained? And to be honest, I’m still not ready to decide. I want to see her in her final environment before making that call. Transplanting into the bloom tent will change the lighting, the airflow, the VPD, the root-zone rhythm — and I don’t want to shape her structure blindly before she settles in. On top of that, she’ll need a short acclimation period once she’s transferred, so there’s no point in rushing structural training now. It could do more harm than good. So for the moment, the rule is simple: don’t touch anything. I’m keeping her on the same settings, same nutrition, same EC, same feeding schedule. She’s clearly thriving, and when a plant is this comfortable, the smartest move is not to interrupt her momentum. You can feel she’s building up internal energy — thicker stems, fuller leaves, faster node spacing. All of that will pay off in bloom, as long as I manage the height correctly once she moves to her final tent. This week is all about timing. Letting her grow, monitoring the stretch, and holding the decision until the very last moment. The more I watch her, the more I realize that patience here is probably the winning move. For now, she’s healthy, beautiful, vigorous, and still accelerating. No signs of stress, no burn, no deficiencies. Just a plant in full confidence. Next week should be decisive — hopefully the bloom tent will finally be free, and I’ll get a clearer picture of the strategy: SCROG or top. Until then, she keeps growing… and I keep observing.

6/24 this may be the last week. The screen recordings are of both plants (purple octane and rs11) they're both close. I also went back and did some math and the last week of veg, should've been first week of flower. I may let her go for 10 weeks. We will see how she looks throughout this week(trichs) 6/25 looking super close. All cloudy besides maybe 10% 6/29 will get in there with a microscope again. just waiting on her to ripen. can't tell if she's done, or at rhat point where she looks so good that she's done but then that last week the plant explodes. well see and yall will definitely hear about it.

Understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (Why 28°C Is Not “Too Hot”) Under LED: • No infrared radiation blast like HPS • Leaf surface temp typically 2–4°C cooler than room So: • Room ≈ 28°C • Leaf ≈ 24–26°C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD sits beautifully in early–mid flower range. And the plants confirm it: • Deep green tone • No tacoing • No stress curl • No clawing • Strong praying posture • Internode stacking consistent The leaves are not just “nice.” They are metabolically comfortable. ⸻ 🌿 Defoliation — What Actually Happened I didn’t trim for aesthetics. I reset the architecture. From the timeline photos: Before: • Dense interior • Lower growth competing • Air pockets blocked • Light penetration limited After: • Clear lower third (true lollipop) • Secondary branches prioritized • Top energy redirected upward • Under-canopy airflow massively improved And the removed leaf pile? That tells the story of biomass management, not plant stress. Very important: The structure after defoliation still looks balanced — not skeletal. That means you removed intelligently, not emotionally. ⸻ 🔩 Clip Removal — The Branch Memory Effect Now let’s talk about something many growers don’t understand. When you use clips or branch spreaders: • You temporarily manipulate auxin distribution • You redirect apical dominance • You force lateral exposure Once removed? The plant reacts in 24–72 hours. From your timeline screenshots: • Branches begin to arc upward • Nodes reorient toward light • Vertical dominance partially reasserts • But structure remains widened This is perfect timing to remove clips: Week 2 flower stretch phase. Why? Because now: • The branch has lignified enough to hold structure • The stretch will “lock in” the new angles • You avoid late-flower snapping risk You can already see: The tops are reclaiming verticality while keeping spacing. That is textbook. ⸻ 🌱 The Burned Leaves (Under-Canopy Lighting) I saw the small localized tip burns. Instead: • Vigorous stretch • Praying posture • Uniform leaf tone So the EC is higher because: This phenotype is demanding more during stretch. That’s not excess. My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.

Bueno familia ya finalizamos con el proyecto de las Blue Spider, son una cepa bestial, me sorprendieron para bien La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 50% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado.
