Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. OK guys I'm back after being away for 2 weeks. I've proceeded to a final transplantation into a 9L AirPot container, right before I left for vacations. Despite the transplantation, no special operation was done, I want to see how this clone is going to grow on its own and I don't have enough room for training / bending. A friend was in charge of the grow room while I was away, and she did a pretty good job. The clone is healthy, standing proud and praying the light. I started to build the manifold for 4 colas but some side branches have already reached the canopy, that clone wants to produce weight! She will remain under vegetative stage for 1~2 weeks before flipping into 12/12 light schedule. I can't wait to see her full of buds! Thanks for stopping by 👊

Overall she probably looks the exact same as 4 weeks ago but she has been doing a lot of leg work for the the grow to come . I’m still waiting to see these top dressed nutes start becoming available to her . I’m also curious to see what response , if any, she gives to the worm castings I topped dressed her with . She’ll be going to a 6 gal pot in about 3-3&1/2 once it’s time to feed her again . At the exact End of this week I’ve just untied all her tops . Give us a like .

She's really showing those burn marks from a couple of weeks ago now and is looking pretty well aged because of it. It's unfortunate but she's still fine even though I'm sure she would be absolutely beautiful if I hadn't have burned her. The buds look great and very frosty at this point, some are cloudy now and I'm sure it will only be another week or two before she is done. I will start flushing very soon more than likely.

Man I am absolutely pleased with the turnout of these clones especially clone 1 with my trial and errors with the 1st initial plant made me a boss at these girls she does not like humidity at all smell of gassy peanuts 😆

Hallo liebe Community Aus Organisatorischen nicht vermeidbaren Gründen war ich nicht vor Ort und daher auch jetzt erst das kurze Update zu der Veg. 4 Woche. Gepflegt hat Sie jemand, der selbst noch nie Cannabis angebaut hat. Die Hilfe weiß ich sehr zu Schätzen und bin mehr als nur dankbar! Es konnte hierzu alles nur telefonisch besprochen werden und aus der Ferne gehandelt. Wachstum Auffallend Hoch, sehr Sativa lastig. Obwohl alle stets die gleich Nahrung erhalten haben, scheint sie etwas Empfindlicher. Das Düngen bei Ihr wurde erst einmal zurückgeschraubt. Leider verarbeitet sie das Wasser momentan nicht so gut. Daher wurde hier die Gießmenge nach unten geschraubt da auch das Wetter arg schlechter wurde. Der stetige Regen zur Zeit, unterstütz mein Vorhaben nicht. Past 2 weeks shes developed dense boulder shaped nugs that run all through out the plant. Today was first day of flush so 5 days ish I'll be harvesting this beauty. Perfect timing for the greenhouse seed company competition that I've surprisingly been giving the opportunity. Happy growing.

What’s going on lady’s an gentleman. we got the Moab strains going on W/1 in living soil. They where planted into the root riot cube an treated with neem oil to kill off the fungus gnats, they are thriving now. An getting bigger as the day goes. They will be trans planted into the auto pot system at end of this week. Into the 2x4. Under the double UFL3000 mounted on custom frame. Pumping 402w from the wall. Currently both the girls are in the veg/solo cup cabinet under the UF2000 100w light. Currently 60% rh and temps running 79 lights on. Thanks for viewing an happy growing!

Cal mag deffeciency. No problem I knew I would run Into it using soil nutes. Some rapid growth on most sherberts. Pink kush Is more stubborn and difficult but one of them seem to be thriving. Not sure why most pink kushs are just a bit slower. The seeds also seemed to NOT be germinating as fast as all the other strains. This is some really solid genetics so far with some rapid growth to them. Scrog installed 20 - 23 cm above the highest point of the pots. I will just them grow into the scrog and then train them into the trellis. I might raise the lights so they can stretch just a bit. Call mag issue was fixed very fast changing to Coco nutrients and i have some really healthy growth now at the end of week 4
