? Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A Week 6 | Every Plant Speaks Its Own Language Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 If you've been following this project from the beginning, you'll know that every plant in this room shares exactly the same environment, the same lighting, the same irrigation system, and the same general care. The only thing that truly separates them is their genetics—and that's precisely what makes this project so fascinating. Blueberry Muffin Pheno A continues her journey under a strict 12/12 light cycle from seed, growing inside the AutoPot system beneath the Future of Grow Black Series LED while being carefully documented from germination all the way to harvest. Every week reveals a little more of her personality. And this week... She had something to tell me. ⸻ 🌱 Full Steam Into Flower There is no doubt anymore. Vegetative growth is now behind us, and this beautiful lady has fully committed herself to flowering. The stretch continues, fresh pistils are appearing across the canopy, and every branch is now focused on producing future flower sites rather than new vegetative growth. The framework that was patiently built over the previous weeks is now beginning to pay dividends. Thanks to the early leaf bending, gentle canopy management, and allowing the plant to naturally find her shape, light is reaching deep into the canopy, encouraging flowering sites throughout the entire plant. Sometimes doing less allows the plant to do more. This week was exactly that. Rather than introducing additional training, I simply allowed her to continue expressing herself naturally while closely observing how she responded. ⸻ 🍽️ A Hungry Lady One thing became increasingly obvious during the week. Compared to some of the other ladies in the room, Blueberry Muffin Pheno A is asking for more food. The lighter colour developing on some of the older fan leaves isn't a cause for panic—it is simply the plant telling me that her nutritional demand has increased now that flowering is accelerating. This is one of the interesting challenges of running several different genetics together. Ideally, every plant would receive a feeding program tailored specifically to its own appetite. In reality, when multiple cultivars share the same environment and irrigation system, compromises sometimes have to be made. The important part is recognising what the plant is communicating and responding before it becomes a genuine deficiency. That's exactly what I've started doing. Over the coming weeks, nutrient strength will be increased slightly to better match her appetite while continuing to monitor how she responds. Growing is a conversation. This week, Blueberry Muffin simply spoke a little louder than the others. ⸻ 🌿 Development Despite asking for more nutrition, her overall development continues to impress. The main stem remains strong, secondary branches have stretched beautifully, and numerous flowering sites are beginning to establish themselves throughout the canopy. Looking from above, it's easy to appreciate how evenly the branches have developed. The earlier leaf bending has done exactly what it was intended to do—opening the plant without forcing it into an unnatural shape. Instead of one dominant flowering top, multiple branches are now competing for the light, creating what should become a very productive canopy over the coming weeks. Every day she looks a little less like a young plant... ...and a little more like the Blueberry Muffin I've been waiting to meet. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment The room continues providing stable conditions as flowering progresses. • 🌡️ Day temperature: 29°C • 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative humidity: 60% • 🥥 Root zone temperature: 21°C • 💦 Nutrient solution: 22°C • ⚗️ pH: 6.0 • ⚡ EC: 1.78 mS/cm • 💨 CO₂: approximately 693 ppm • 💡 Light schedule: 12/12 Humidity has now been reduced compared to the previous weeks as the plants move deeper into flower, creating a more suitable environment for healthy bud development while maintaining excellent transpiration. Everything remains stable, allowing the plants to focus their energy exactly where we want it—into flowers. ⸻ 🌱 Feeding The AutoPot system continues running beautifully, providing a constant supply of fresh nutrient solution whenever the AquaValve calls for it. Current reservoir: • Plagron Terra Bloom — 1.9 ml/L • Plagron Sugar royal — 1 ml/L • Plagron Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds — 1 ml/L • pH adjusted to 6.0 As Blueberry Muffin has shown a greater appetite than some of the other plants, I'll gradually increase her nutrition over the coming weeks while carefully monitoring both leaf colour and overall plant health. The goal isn't simply to feed more. It's to feed exactly what the plant is asking for. ⸻ 📸 Behind the Lens This week's photographs tell a very honest story. The developing flower sites are becoming easier to spot, the vertical growth has slowed into a more controlled stretch, and the canopy continues filling with healthy new growth. Some of the fan leaves clearly reveal the lighter colour that first caught my attention this week, serving as a useful reminder that plants are constantly communicating if we take the time to observe them closely. Photography isn't just about capturing beautiful plants. Sometimes it's one of the best diagnostic tools a grower can have. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Over the next week, my attention will be focused on two things. First, allowing the flowers to continue stacking naturally as the stretch begins slowing down. Second, watching closely to see how Blueberry Muffin responds to the slight increase in nutrition. If everything goes according to plan, I expect the foliage to regain a richer green while the plant continues directing her energy into flower production. The foundation has been built. Now it's time to let those flowers take centre stage. ⸻ 💚 Thank You As always, a huge thank you to everyone following this journey. Whether you've been here since germination or you've only recently discovered the diary, I truly appreciate every visit, every comment, every question and every piece of advice. Projects like this become far more rewarding because they're shared with an amazing community of growers from around the world. A special thank you goes to GrowDiaries for providing the platform where we can document these adventures and continue learning from one another. To Zamnesia, thank you for the fantastic Blueberry Muffin genetics that continue to reveal more personality with every passing week. To Plagron, thank you for providing the nutrition and growing media that keep these ladies thriving from start to finish. And to Future of Grow LED, thank you for delivering the light that fuels every stage of this journey and helps these plants perform at their very best. Finally, thank you for being here. Every diary, every photograph, every success, and every lesson learned is even more meaningful because it's shared with this incredible community. Growers Love, and I'll see you all next week as Blueberry Muffin continues her journey through flower. 💚🌱

Going into the second week. Things are looking good to me. I did add one more seed of Cosmic Bomb since I had one that didn’t germinate. Now I have all 6 pots going. Lastly I think I’m gonna introduce some fox farm Big Bloom starting this week at quarter or half dose.

I am dropping a Casey's Rollex OG by DutchFem Seeds. I lightly scuffed the ends, and dropped it in water. I covered her, and i will plant her in 24 to 48 hours, or as soon as I see a tap root start. Nothing else to report. Thank you DutchFem, and Spider Farmer. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Update: first seed was a dud, second has been started. Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. PH 6.7 Temp 65 Your likes and comments are appreciated. Thanks for stopping by. Growers love 💚🌿 💫Natrona💫

Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

Well, this grow has come to an end. I have mixed feelings about that, as I enjoyed the journey, but at the same time I can't wait to try this stuff. 😁 Man, I knew from the start it was likely I was going to get addicted to opium. 😶 But hey, what the hell, I gotta know. She was a bit of a job to trim, many breaks to clean the scissors, but me and my grow neighbor plus another bro got her done in about 3.5 hours. She's hanging pretty in the infamous spare bedroom and I can't wait for her to dry up and go into the Grove bags for a cure. Of course, strictly for quality control purposes, a sample will be tested by our expert panel of esteemed judges prior to the cure. SMOKE REPORT Well, the results are in! And it was unanimous I might add for the record. We have 4 esteemed judges who are now addicted to opium. I was worried that might happen, and my worries were well founded apparently. First, let me go over the rigorous requirements our judges faced in making our decision. Aroma? Check. Flavor? Check. Stoniness Factor? Are two checks allowed? Yield? Check. Ease of grow? Check. The opium produced a very nice earthy and dank flavor. The aftertaste after indulging has a sweet undertone to it, very nice! This is a fairly strong strain, definitely couch-lock. Buy oh so tasty, love it! I will be growing it again, and soon. This one’s a winner.

16.07. Blue Sunset Sherbet Day 78# Nothing special happens except that she showed sex like the other plants. I little late, yesterday was the end of the eleventh week. This plant has fallen on me at least 6-7 times, every time there's a storm I find it lying in the grass and mostly before watering when the soil is light, when it's heavy it doesn't happen... this morning I found it when I was watering, and the storms were yesterday all day and this morning, but I found some damage on the leaves and I'm sure it lay in the grass for a whole day, I didn't go around it, but mostly the wind knocked it down so many times, never a single twig it didn't break, very strong plant...I'll have to move it to another place these days, put stakes in the ground and put it in a net for vegetables. Now I water them every other day. That would be it. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

I am an irredeemable wet-trimmer. Trimming this one was reasonably easy, but because there was so much of it ... it still took some time. Some of the "trim" was completely covered by trichomes but I treated her like any other plant in this regard and I'm satisfied with the results. The trim bucket looks ridiculous though. I added a pic of some of the last trim to the gallery. I tried to make a few videos too - I think my videomaking style is called "spaceship flies over woodlands" so please don't judge.. at least there is no audio of me making plane noises.. 💩

Bubble gum auto is my jam! She has very sweet smelling, dense, thick buds! Should be wrapping it up in the next two weeks! Weather has been crazy hot, dry, humid, rain, etx—- this lady is taking it! Placed some wood shavings over the soils to help keep some moisture in…. The heat has been drying out the plant very quickly. ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Day 51: The plant still maturing nicely, and the fade has slowed even though I have pulled nutrients. Buds are swelling and trichomes are continuing to cloud up; Leaves 90% cloudy, 5% clear, 5% amber. Buds 85% cloudy, 10% clear, 3% amber. pH is swinging wildly last few days (6.6-8). Keeping an eye on it and checking twice a day - adjusting as needed. Likely related to having no beneficial bacteria and no nutrients. Day 52: Leaves; 90% cloudy, 2% clear, 8% amber Buds; 90% cloudy, 7% clear, 3% amber Added back in 2mL of beneficial bacteria to the final gallon of top-off water to help with pH control these last few days and work out any remaining nutrient salts in the water or expanded clay. The plant is looking like it will be ready for harvest here in the next few days - maybe day 54/55 harvest. Day 54: Leaves: 85% cloudy, 1% clear, 14% amber Buds: 90% cloudy, 3% clear, 7% amber The plant is definitely looking like it is ready for harvest on 3/4 of the plant. Very top buds are still showing some white pistils - doesn't appear to be fox tailing but looks like the buds are filling out nicely. The colors on the fan leaves are finally starting to show up - some nice purples! Trichomes are turning nicely on most of the buds and leaves as well. Smell changed slightly - I think due to a pH drop in the reservoir (down to 5.0). Day 56: Harvest day I decided to harvest today as the buds were appearing about 10% amber on day 55. Some top nugs had white pistils but still had amber trichomes with the majority cloudy. Ended up with so much plant material for bubble hash, approximately 2 lbs worth wet - straight to the freezer. Nugs worth drying and curing are hanging in the tent. Scissor hash from light trim and cutting, the plant is super very resinous. The smell was incredible and quite potent during harvest until I got the tent sealed back up. Plan to hang for approximately 5-6 days depending on the stem snap test. Targeting 55-60% humidity, 65-68F. Looking forward to getting to taste some in the near future!
