💚 Amnesia Haze Auto by Zamnesia – Pheno B Week 6 | Quiet Confidence Begins to Bloom Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Growing multiple phenotypes side by side is one of my favourite parts of this project because every week nature reminds us that there is no such thing as a "correct" way for a plant to grow. Pheno B has chosen a completely different rhythm from her sister. While Pheno A stretches toward the ceiling with long internodes and a very expressive narrow-leaf structure, this lady prefers patience. She's shorter, more compact, and slightly behind in her overall flowering development, yet she's thriving under exactly the same conditions. Same room. Same lighting. Same nutrients. Same watering. Same training. The only thing that's different is the genetics expressing themselves in their own unique way. And that's exactly why phenotype hunting is so fascinating. 🌱 The 12/12 From Seed Journey For anyone joining this diary for the first time, welcome! Every plant in this project has been grown under a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light schedule from the day the seeds germinated. Rather than extending the vegetative stage, this method allows every phenotype to reveal its natural growth habits much earlier, making it easier to compare structure, stretch, flowering speed, and overall efficiency. Watching sisters grow into completely different plants while sharing the exact same environment is one of the biggest rewards of this experiment. Pheno B is proving that slower doesn't mean weaker—it simply means different. 🌿 A Compact Personality Standing at around 69 cm, she's noticeably shorter than her sister, but she's beginning to develop a personality all her own. Her internodes remain tighter. Her branching is beautifully balanced. The canopy is naturally organised, giving every future flower plenty of access to light without requiring much intervention. The overall impression is of a plant that's taking her time, investing in structure before committing fully to flower production. The first pistils are now multiplying across every growing tip, and although she's still stretching slightly, it's clear that flowering has become her main priority. Sometimes genetics prefer to build slowly before rewarding us later. This may very well be one of those plants. 🌸 Flower Production Is Taking Over This week marks an important shift. The explosive vegetative growth is beginning to slow, while clusters of fresh white pistils continue appearing across every branch. Instead of producing dramatic vertical growth, she's now directing more of her energy toward building the framework that will eventually support her flowers. Watching this transition happen is always exciting because it's the point where each phenotype begins revealing how it intends to build its harvest. Every week, her own personality becomes a little clearer. 🍃 Gentle Training, Natural Development Training continues to be intentionally minimal. Low Stress Training performed earlier in the grow has already created a balanced structure, so this week only occasional leaf tucking was needed to keep developing flower sites exposed. Rather than removing healthy leaves, I prefer allowing them to continue acting as efficient solar panels while simply repositioning them whenever necessary. Healthy leaves mean more energy. More energy means stronger flowers. Sometimes the best decision is knowing when to leave the plant alone. 💧 Feeding the Transition Into Bloom As with the rest of the room, Pheno B is now receiving a flowering-focused feeding program while still supporting the final stages of stretch. This week's nutrient schedule includes: • Plagron Terra Bloom • Plagron Power Buds • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Pure Zym • Plagron Green Sensation • pH adjustment using pH Plus and Lemon Kick This week also introduces one of my favourite bloom additives: Green Sensation. Rather than simply boosting phosphorus and potassium, Green Sensation is designed as a complete flowering enhancer, supporting flower development, nutrient efficiency, resin production, and overall plant vitality during the final weeks of bloom. I like introducing it gradually as the plants begin committing fully to flowering, allowing them to transition naturally while preparing for the heavier bud-building phase that's still to come. So far, she's responding beautifully. 🌡️ A Stable Environment Every phenotype in this room continues sharing the exact same environmental conditions, allowing genetics—not environmental fluctuations—to tell the story. Current conditions include: • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • pH: 6.0 • EC: 1.78 mS/cm • Root zone temperature: 21°C • Nutrient solution temperature: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Consistency remains one of the most valuable tools in any grow room. When the environment stays stable, the plants can dedicate their energy to growing instead of constantly adapting. 📸 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs perfectly capture the personality that's beginning to emerge. The full-plant portraits showcase a compact, balanced structure with excellent branch spacing and a strong central leader that's quietly taking command of the canopy. The close-ups reveal fresh clusters of white pistils forming at nearly every growing tip, signalling that flowering is now well underway. One detail I particularly enjoy is how organised her architecture feels. Nothing appears forced. Every branch has found its place naturally, creating a canopy that's both easy to manage and full of future potential. She's not trying to compete with her sister. She's simply becoming herself. And that's exactly what makes phenotype hunting so rewarding. 🔮 Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks I expect Pheno B to continue slowing her vertical growth while shifting more and more energy into flower production. If her current structure is any indication, she could develop into one of those wonderfully manageable plants that quietly surprises everyone at harvest with dense, beautifully stacked colas. Every week her confidence grows a little more. Now it's time to watch those flowers do the same. 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Watching two sisters grow side by side, sharing the exact same environment while expressing completely different personalities, continues to remind me why growing from seed never stops being exciting. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing an incredible platform where growers from around the world can learn, inspire one another, and document every stage of their journeys. 🌱 Zamnesia for providing the outstanding genetics that make this phenotype hunt possible. 💜 Plagron for supplying the nutrition supporting these ladies from seed to harvest. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the consistent light powering every day of this grow. 🌿 TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable environment where each phenotype can express its full genetic potential. And finally, growers love to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, sharing knowledge, and joining me on this adventure. Every phenotype has its own story. Pheno B may be telling hers a little more quietly... ...but she's making sure it's worth listening to. Growers Love 💚🌿

Day 8: Woke up and checked on the ladies, they were bone dry. Hit em with 70 ml of AN Coco Grow diluted in my mix. Day 9: Got the new lights in today and hooked up. Girls are looking pretty good I think. Still letting em dry out a little. Gonna add a shot of Great White on next water. No nutes will be in this shot. Day 10: Still looking good. Had to stack some loose Coco around a couple as they had a good stretch going and were leaning pretty good. Also noticed a couple of brown spots on the leaves. I am led to believe after asking questions and researching, it is more than likely nute burn? No more nutes for these girls for a while. I also got a humidifier to raise humidity as it was pretty low. Day 11: These girls almost double in size every day! They would probably be a little bigger if I hadn't of tried to give em a drink of nutes earlier on! Lesson learned!! Not bad for 6 days out of the ground regardless though, I think. Got a humidifier in the tent and it stays around 50% now. Other than last night it got up to 73%. I need to get that fixed. Day 12: Nothing new to update other than they look healthy. Think I am gonna let them dry out a touch more before watering. Day 13: Gave the girls 1 cup of ph 6.0 water this morning. Thermostat battery went out and lucky my girl caught it in time. Temp got to 86° for a couple of hours. Opened the tent for an hour to get the temp back down. Humidity has been hovering around 50% for the most part. Minor fluctuations here and there. Girls are looking good for 8 days out of the earth though!! 💪 Day 14: Looking like they need another drink, dry down to around 1" deep. Gave em 2.25 cups with super diluted Coco Grow and a touch of Great White. 😳 They are doing great! 👍 Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store! Going to build a support to add my 2 CREE lights back in along with the Mars lights.

Hello Everyone!! This is finally week 7 of flower and I kid you not, these babies look gorgeous!! First the Grandpa Cookies on the left is bursting at the seams!! Holy molly! The calyxes are filled swelled up and hairs have receded into it. The nugs look small, but I’m certain they have a high density. The dark color is on full display with this one. The smell reminds me of Black Banana, which I’m sure is in the lineage of this strain. The Money Maker in the middle has been my miracle strain! From starting off deformed to pulling through and forming some of the largest nugs I’ve seen in doors. The smell is sweet, pine cone like. The color is fairly standard and buds look a bit fluffy. I hope it fills out in the next 2 weeks, however I don’t have high hopes looking at some other grow diaries. The Grandpa cookies on the right is my little rebel. She was late in changing colors, but is finally taking off and showing what she’s made of! The nugs are starting to swell and smell is pungent. I’m on track to harvest in two weeks. I’m so happy all is going well. Once these 3 finish, I’ll bring in the Chocolate Skunk as my final plant to flower for the year. 😁

ppm at 1100 Second flush 3 days after first because ppm's were still rising after each day. Brought ppm down to 850 for second round of defoliation at day 49. I wanted to do it at day 42 but I didn't want to stress her more after me being away for 12 days.

Today is start of week 4. Not much to report except , all plants got defoliated on day 19 for the last time. Also little buds is starting to form on all the short zkittlez plant the tall plants looks to be 3 or 4 days behind the short plants. (12 clones vegg for 1 week in 16 oz cups transplanted into 1 gallon grow bag and into flower this week.)

2/24 MONDAY. 1am Starting to take off now, BPP is catching up all the others are great. Wont be cranking up the light its getting warm and I like to keep my grows low power and cool. 3pm Put Witches Wedding in Tent4 with Ricky’s Hash Plants Lights up to 65W. 2/26 LST on BPP👍👍👍 2/28 4am. good. 2-4pm topped Mix Pack started bottom feeding and get good results 1 glass on top then slowly add to bott 12-2pm repotted Fast Buds Mix Pack she is TALL so I felt she needed a more comfortable home, it was a difficult keeping her watered as well. I will top her tomorrow probably. Apricot is having trouble with the re-used dirt I put in. So I did a flush and saw it was overloaded with nutrients, too dark. She should catch up in 3 or 4 days no problems. They surprise me with how they recover and reconfigured their branch and root system and start to get HUGE like nothing happened so I know Apricot will recover. 3/1 2am made some more air filters. 6am 3/2 12am They look great 6 AM. I watered again from the bottom and a little bit at the top. They are phenomenal. I think my new watering technique helps. I’ve only been watering from the top and I think that’s been a problem. I do a 50-50 split of bud igniter with big bud by advanced nutrients next week. It will be 2 mL of big bud or maybe one. We’ll see how the flowers progress. 👍 3/4 4am Flushed Apricot with a gallon of water 6.4pH followed by normal nutrient until enough runoff, then bottom fed after returning to tent she took up water and is looking better today.

27/04/22 CONTEST TIME! 😍 I'm very happy to announce that I've been selected for "Best Diary of the Year - Edition 2022" 😍😍😍🎉 Third year as grower and first time with this strain. 🙋‍♂️For those that don't know me, I'm a 100% OUTDOOR grower from Italy, great supporter of efficient and simple things; I love experimenting and always learning for my errors and this what I do also when growing 💪 🌱 The candidate for this new diary is a "Ganja Skunk Auto" by Ganja Farmer Seeds. I would like to thank @GanjaFarmerSeeds for sending me these seeds and allowing me to take part to their contest. I will update the diary once a week and in particular the first day of each week. "Day 0" will be assigned when the first leaves will come out from the soil. #OUTDOORGANG #PRAISE_THE_SUN - DD

Entering week 2 of flower! She did A LOT of growing and changing in the first week and I was able to get her canopy laid out nicely in the 4X4! This week is a continuation of that. Slowing tying down branches as not to stress her out. She came down with some broad mites last week ( I can only assume despite all precautions, I brought them home from work, as we had a problem with them in our veg room a couple weeks back) Steady, heavy Nuke Em applications is showing improvement! 3/28 Update: We seem to have won against the bugs! I will continue preventative sprays for a week or so just to be sure they are gone, but I think we are in the clear. I believe I have successfully managed her canopy as well. We are two weeks into the stretch and she has plenty of room to go up now (which was my main concern with her)! I actually brought her down from 43in in the last week of veg to 40 inches this morning through dropping a net and slowly tying and spreading branches! 😁

We didn't have much hope for this one, hence the light documentation... her PH was a rollercoaster for a while but still managed to yield around an oz..not too shabby for a plant we nearly tossed... if we grow this strain again it will most certainly be grown outside in the garden.. I believe this could of been a very large auto given optimal conditions...happy growing everyone!

What’s up guys!! Welcome back. Week 8 just commencing - fully flushed the plants today which took forever - getting the build up of advanced nutes salts took ages, but finally got the EC of the runoff down to the same level as the water going in to the plant. Should start seeing some mad colours coming through now, but the plants are looking super dank - especially the Zkittlez! Going for a two week flush now as the trichs seem to be ready - the runtz may need a few more days than the zkitz - but it looked to be suffering a bit from some nute lockout so I’ve gone for the flush now. Hopefully I’ll see some good signs in the next couple of days! Thanks for checking in 🙌🏼

I've been feeding really heavy since my last post.. roughly 1200 ppm (2.4 EC). This is just to keep up with my C02 dosage. I've also been turning up my lights every other day trying to get as much light exposure as possible. Already giving off some awesome colours and odours. Trichome development has started too. I will be watering in some beneficial enzymes at the end of this week. I'm going to keep taking off large fan leaves whenever possible. I added a scrog net for the two plants in the back of the tent. They seem to be the largest and will definitely need the support going into late flower. Add me on IG for more grow updates at waterboy_519

Another round of topping. Tied her all back to spread out for LST. Going to flip to flower next week. Used the Kushman technique and Supercropped all her stems every inch on the way up, without bending. Gives her muscles to flex <3

This week was a good week too. Being from Canada. The weather was pretty cold outside but was around 18-20 indoors. Had to start humidifier as humidity dropped to 9% in my room next to window.

-12.09.2024 The thirteenth week begins (including the seedling phase). The plants look good, most of the trichomes are milky. The plants were watered for the last time today with a little water. Tomorrow the lights will be switched off for the next two days and then they will be harvested at the weekend -13.09.2024 Today the lights will be switched off until Sunday and on Sunday both plants will be harvested -15.09.2024 The plants were harvested today and will hang in the box for the next two weeks before they go into jars. The humidity is 45% and the temperature is 22 degrees Celsius -22.09.2024 The plants continue to hang upside down in the box and dry. The air humidity is around 50%-65% but the fans are running 24/7, the fresh air supply and air circulation are very good so I'm not worried. If anything happens, I will update it here. Otherwise there will be an update when the plants are dry

My first grow 'attempt'. I am growing in an insulated shipping container. Using two Fluence SpydrX LED 660W lights. Not currently supplementing Co2. Feeding by hand for now but I will set up an automated dripper. Drain to waste. Growing in Pro-Mix HP w/ Mycorrhizae which contains (65%-75%) Peat-Moss, Perlite, Mycorrhizae, pH adjusters, and a wetting agent. All 5 seeds sprouted!! 3 Peat Pellet, 2 Paper Towel Light intensity set to lowest setting. (8%) Feeding every couple days with 160ppm, 6.0 pH. Overall, pretty good week. Lights on! Using 18/6 light schedule. The peat pellets were placed into peat pots and under a dome. The lights should have been turned on a lot sooner, the seedlings stretched quite tall. Lesson learned there. They continued to grow quite tall. One fell over, it was replanted slightly deeper to support it. Fingers crossed it survives. Light intensity set to lowest setting (8%). A lot to learn.
