GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTOMATIC COMMENT. As I has commenting since the beginning I think this could be a nice strain to grow with minimal water and nutes, keep that in mind when growing this strain, i learned the hard way. What happened with this girl is that salt builded up in the medium and de stabilised mainly the PH, creating a super acidic medium, thats my bad, i failed to id earlier. So back to spotting, and a bit of yellowing showing, so some deficiencies, i honestly don’t know how this is going to end. I flushed her 4 days a go with PH water to 6.5, that raised the medium runoff from 5.0 to 5.4-5.6, and flushed again with tap water, is alkaline at 8.1+, runoff is still 5.6, so that raised more concern with that input range getting so acidic runoff is bad, and in the end of flush received a dose of voodoo juice, big bloom, calmag and top candy, that are all organic at regular ph, EC at 1.8. I know the PH fluctuation can worse the scenario. I’m been apocalyptic is just that i’m feeling a bit turn down now, i was expecting this girl to run flawlessly, heads up will try my best to correct issues, just wished she was like her sister…

Week 5 from sprout. Welp the girls are in there stretching phase and there's a few alternating nodes. And ive switched some things so I'll try to be thorough for any future people reading. First i took out the two house speakers the pants were sitting on and put them on the floor. Which put my lights back at about 25 inches from the canopy.... again... I have a cut up air mattress lining the bottom and side as a make shift tub to catch the runoff. Honestly dunno how ima drain or empty it yet but i have 2 inches of a closet to figure that out. I reluctantly switched to tap water today, my ppm of straight cold water was 255 so hopefully the chlorine evaporates and the water temp raises before i water them. On that subject, I've switched up their feeding. A combination of cal mag, grow, and bloom. About 1.5 ml per gal of all three. Will be feeding this until the flowering stretch stops in a week or so at which time I'll omit the grow and cal mag and feed bloom. Each plant gets 1.5 liters 2 times a day. (Unless im busy/ lazy). Will update ppm when i get things dialed in. Took a good amount of leaves outta necessity of space and light.... and kinda to purposely stress them out jus a little to slow their growth just a tad.. I'm keeping the same 20/4 light schedule. As of right now still have the one led light. Which is why i keep having to move the lights/ plants. So i get as close to the sweet spot of par as possible. They're definitely sativa dominant and 4 plants are 30 inches or more. The small one is about 20 inches. . Ps.... I had to write all this shit twice cause my phone died.

I have grown some Californian fem OGs in the past and it looks a lot like us, in a small way, of course, but the shape of the flowers and the particular way of distributing the hair make it unique. Its week 5 and you know what? We have some smell to enjoy! This week, the stretch finally finished completely. The plants stoped growing and are focussing their power and nutrients into bud producion from now on. Thats a very important moment in flower. My Hy-Pro nutrition plan tells me, to start giving Hy-Pro Epic Bloom in this critical development phase. This will give the ladies exactly what they need, to grow some big, tasty flower. I had to do another major under canopy cut on the Jack Herer. Took out another 15cm of buds over the net, since they would just suck up energy and never come close to the grade of quality I am looking for. I just was not ready for the growth, Hy-Pro made possible in my tent. Never experienced such explosive growth, just watched it happen for other guys on YouTube and social media. For my next grow, i will definitely have to beef up my tent. I can tell there is really some smell coming out of the tent by now. Its always a joy, to open it. Development is making me very happy. They grew strong, thick stems in vegi, those branches will be able to hold alot of weight in buds. From now on, i feed them the following: Hy-Pro Terra: 4,5ml/l (component nutrients) Hy-Pro Generator: 0.16ml/l Hy-Pro Cal-mag: 4ml/l Hy-Pro Epic Bloom: 0,5ml/l EC: 1,8 VPD: 1,40 PPFD: 930 µmol/m²/s I would really love, to see some colouration on the Mimosa and the Blueberry. All I can say is WOW! Sour Diesel Haze is HUGE! Tons of bud sites developing all over and looking beautiful! She has the potential of being my largest plant to date! Looking forward to watching her buds fatten up and harvesting. 👍

The seed popped out of the soil at day 4. Day 6 she had her helmet removed with some assistance. Day 7 she shows 3 leaves, I’m guessing 1 didn’t make it do you the shell staying on too long, but this has happened before, so no worries! She will be moved to veg tent as soon as she does some stretching.

Week 6 starts 12/31/21 but I happened to notice a weird leaf the night before. The Northern Light X Blueberry auto is very dark green and has sharp downturned tips. Which starts down the rabbit hole of google search to see the cause. I decide that is is Nitrogen toxicity caused by underwatering. At this time I was not really paying attention to when I feed them just whenever the pots were light. I watered them I later realize that while it may have started with underwatering it was so many other problems at once. I forgot to check the ppm or ph going in one day last week so I checked them going out. The run off was 2700ppm and I forgot to look up what that meant. I also doubled the strength of the nutes. 1/2 Saturday I flushed all the plants with 5 gallons of fresh water each that read 6.43 ph & 51ppm. I have Fox farm sledge hammer but for some reason I decided to use just water. The run off was consistently 6.2ph and I rinsed until the ppm was about 450 on NB. 250 ppm on Gorilla Glue and Pineapple express. I then decided that since it was nitrogen toxicity from underwatering that I should not starve the plant so I gave her week 1 of flower nutrients from the Foxfarm feeding schedule at 1/2 strength. I did not use Calmag since it's nitrogen was 2 and I didn't add the boomerang because that has nitrogen as a 1 and I thought since this plant has nitrogen toxicity I should skip the extra 3 nitrogen for now. I set each plant up on blocks so air could totally circulate to dry out the pots. Turned the fans on and waited. 1/6 There has been almost no growth since the flush. NB started off at a little over 9 inches and if I stretch her she is 10 at most.

D-48 : after lollipopping this morning, I turn to flowering mode tonight !

Through week 5 of flower and all is generally good. The whole tent stinks like hell of berries, pine and earthy Kush. They’re all presenting something a little different in terms of growth but still very similar terp profiles and bud structure. Seed maturation is showing on some of the lower nodes as well. We’re getting much closer here. Hopefully not more than a couple weeks but we’ll see. #1 will go off first for sure. She’s showing a progressing N deficiency that likely isn’t fixable but it does remain possible she’s simply ending her cycle. If so, it’ll be a trait worth noting on the F2 run. Until next week, ✌️! Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I am extremely impressed: Zamnesia and Plagron !!!! Auto Runtz showed no negative emotions throughout the growth :) Plagron nutrients gave her what she wanted ;) In general, this whole trip was something unreal, (with such a result I have a little hope of winning a prize from the ongoing competition :D :D ) Her aroma is full of tropical fruits!!!! (I can't wait to taste her :D:D) So from my travel suitcase, I got 225 gr of wet harvest weight, I am really happy about that :) (probably 50-60gr of dry flowers), by the way, I will also publish the dry flower weight, as soon as she is ready for it :) I did a lot of photoshoots, but unfortunately my lighting was not good, so I didn't get to take better photos ...
