Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. 17 sept Maroc was chopped this week. The girl suffered from the endles rain we had last 10 days, enevitably she got mould. Not fully ripe, another week would have been best. Still some nice trichs and i will probably end up making hashish from this one. As do all off the female seed strains this year. The combination of early flower and the september rain this year took its toll. Biggest buds were harvested on wednesday and rest of plant saturday. Drying now in less than ideal conditions. Fingers crossed. Hoping for better weather for the weeks to come. Lemon kush and the others really needs some more sunshine to finish

The Supercheese girls are kicking off Week 6 after a smooth transplant into 5L grow bags. They've settled in well, showing healthy new growth and bouncing back fast. Started topping to promote a bushier structure and stronger branching — they're responding beautifully. Keeping them in a sunny spot during the day and under the 100 W LED at night to keep those winter temps in check. Looking forward to shaping them up over the next week. Beginning of week 3 of flowering and plants are slowing there stretch down. I decided to let them come up into the second screen about a foot above the first screen. Second screen holes are twice as big as the first layer screen and is primarily to support the colas later in flowering. I stripped all the growth below the first screen so the plants won’t waste there energy on these lower beaches with no light under the canopy. I will be removing a few of the larger guard leaves later in the week on the top of the canopy to let light in to the lower shouts ready to come up, but not until after the plants recovers for a day or 2 from the bottom stripping. Smell is starting to ramp up, can really notice it strong when you open the tent now.

Loud hashy, pepper, sulfur, rotten fruit, lemon, and Skittles terps. The landraces got nice structure, terps and yield but resin is lacking. I think that's normal. Gonna have to cross these a few times till I find something great that is worth it.

I know she yielded less than optimally, but at least she made up for it with a really unique effect. Got like 40 more seeds of this so I'm likely going to do some pheno-hunting come spring with how well she performed. Love the taste and the look of the plant. Really wish I had knowledge of the breeder so I could recommend it. But that's the risk you take with bag seed. Not giving her 10/10 because she stunted for quite a while when I got her started in soil. So she may not respond well with higher stress root-conditions.
