I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

Topping was great ! Starting now with LST using a wire but gently don’t want to harm the plant they opened up pretty good 🙏🏽 I am increasing water by looks.

Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

Have done some defo (pruning) and some light LST so all the buds can have more light 😎👍 Now it is waiting till the sun comes out, they said its gonna be a sunny day so yeuj! Can feel autumn approaching.. sunlight hours are getting less, sun is lowering...😒 spiders and other fekkers are on the loose.. 😠✊ Must be aware of butterflies , dragonflies and other flying insects as well bc they will put eggs in the plants and then i have fekking caterpillers again(like last year..) they look so beautiful but dont forget, its all a disquise..they are just evil flying worms.. kill em as soon as u see one!👺 happy growing 4all✊ ***KISS! growingtechnique: KeepItSimple, stupid!

Stretch is fully finished and the plant has settled perfectly into the SCROG net. The canopy is even and well structured, with branches firmly positioned and no further vertical growth. Flower sites are developing nicely across the canopy and bud formation is clearly underway. Overall vigor remains strong, leaf posture is healthy, and color looks consistent with no visible deficiencies or stress. Training is now minimal — the SCROG structure is locked in, with only minor adjustments to maintain airflow and light penetration below the canopy. Feeding continues with the Athena Blended Line (Bloom A & B, Balance, CaMg, Cleanse), with PK supplementation active from Flower Week 3 onward to support bud development and early flower stacking. Everything looks stable and well managed as the plant moves deeper into the flowering phase.

There was about 30 - 40 bracnhes so i just cut her and hung up whole plant. Drying for week at 15-19°C 50% humidity. Trimmed carefully and cured for 1 week atm. Nice looking, fine smelling and good highing cones i got after this ;-)

Mulberry F3 Day 56 Things are going well today with Miss Mulberry. Up her nutrition level and she has a better green look about her now then same time last week. No more vertical growth and all energy going to flower production.

Hi friends, So I guess I was being really impatient because the bigger girls have begun springing out trichomes!! I can see them deep within the bud sites and are slowly stretching out on sugar leaves. I've noticed that this plant doesn't produce too many trichomes on the bigger leaves so don't let that fool you if you come across that. My girls look frosty on the actual bud sites. Tried to get good pics, will try post more tonight. Other than that, the fast yellowing from previous issues have halted and yellowing seems to be taking a natural course from here. Leaves are dying off but seems that's just the plant doing its thing and getting rid of what it doesnt need. So excited the trichomes came through. Hopefully a few more weeks from here or so. Missed last week so the measurements for their feeding was for 8 weeks this week they got PH water only 3 liters each. These girls are in their final stretch they will get one more feeding and then start the flush. They get fed or watered every 4 days as needed. Ultimate #3 which has been the dwarf since the beginning has wind burn from the fan had to readjust the fan and move the lights up so the other two don’t get fried. They are looking and smelling good and their buds are coming together nicely. As with the last batch of Ultimates they aren’t sticky yet they seem to wait to really develop that stickiness until just before harvest.
