🌸 Week 3 Flower – The Jungle Takes Over The girls are now towering at 1.20 m, turning our tent into a proper green jungle. Both phenotypes are thriving with thick stalks, lush foliage, and a dense network of branches promising a spectacular flower set. This week was all about control and balance. ✂️ Defoliation & Growth Management Although these plants have been allowed to grow naturally so far, their explosive stretch meant I had to step in. I performed a strategic defoliation, not because the plants were weak, but to: • Improve airflow through the canopy. • Ensure light reaches lower bud sites. • Slow vertical growth and help prevent them from outgrowing the tent. Even with a high ceiling, there’s still a risk of running out of headroom during the last stretch. Defoliating at this stage also redirects energy to bud formation instead of excessive leaf production. Note: During this process, a few branches were accidentally broken while moving them out for photos. I left this in the report and photos as a learning moment, large plants can be tricky to handle. Did a major cutting last night

Had some family time last week and unfortunately caught covid with all the symptoms. I've been bed bound since Monday and today I'm starting to feel slighty better. Not asking for sympathy 🤣 but this explains why some of my girls have switched on me... Looks like all 3 Frosted Biscotti have gone into reveg. Obviously have a light leak but think I've sorted it now. The mystery is just well under feed as I've run out of Bloom and big Buds and its also gone into reveg. The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. Apologies again for not getting back to anyones dairys over the last 2weeks. I'm going to spend the weekend catching up with you all and sorting out the tent as long as I'm covid clear. My partner has been doing so much for my son and I I couldn't ask her to maintain the tent aswell. My harvest was trimmed bud at 217.3 grams, then smaller buds, and some leaf material was 59.3 grams. Easily a half pounder auto under a 100 watt Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. Same Nutrient Mix as a Week before Smell is getting stronger

The plants are all super healthy. Just getting water in their autopots. Absolutely huge . Gorilla girl is 10cm off my head height in her pot. And I am 6ft 2ins. Rooms too full to get any pics that do not just look like jungle. But wow so healthy and green .

The screen is almost full :D, Today is the first 12/12 day, everythings seems to be OK, some leafs are yellow on the edge, but i guess it was because pH was fluctuating a lot. New leaf are ok, so i am not worry about that. See you next week for update ;) Edit : i add some temperature screenshot, we can notice when i change the water ^^^today for with new nutrient and yesterday to clean root and tank with FloraKleen ( 20ml for 10L ) Edit : 8/11 cut many leafs to expose buds to light

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

11/25/2022: starting to see some changes in the lower leaf coloring of the Orange Bubblegum which is a bit surprising since this one started flowering last. Not sure what it is yet. The pot was pretty light, so it could be a watering issue, or maybe nitrogen, based on the lower leaf yellowing. Hit all the plants with a double dose of BuildABloom, some Yah-Whey Thrive, coconut powder, and ThermX-70, so we'll see how she reacts. Could also be lockout from the crazy microbe tea. I'll have to wait and see. The other two plants look great. I also appear to be winning the fungas gnat battle. The Strawberry Gushers still has a population, bit the other to plants have little to no gnats at this point. Included mosquito bits, and neem cake in today's watering as well, so hopefully that will finish them off. Getting down to the final few weeks for the Strawberry Gushers, but the Orange Bubblegum, and Newberry still have another month to go. 11/30/2022: plants are all still healthy. The yellowing of the few lower leaves of the Orange Bubblegum has not spread, so I think the extra dose of BuildABloom did the trick. Also, the neem seed tea caused the ph of the water to drop to around 5, and I didn't bring the ph up the first few roundsnof this, so that could have caused some lock out. My last watering and todays i made sure the ph was at 6.8, so that may have helped as well. I know the organic soil should be a ph buffer, but I still feel the need to ph my water. Today's watering was 1 liter for each plant which included the ThermX-70, coconut powder, and Fish Shit. I also scoped the plants for the first time, and I'm seeing about ver few amber on mainly the leaves. The rest of the plants are about 70% cloudy and 30% clear, so we still have some time, which is right in line with what I expected. 12/1/2022: the fungas gnat war continues. I seem to keeping the population under control, but there are still too many for my liking. I've taken a new tactic and added some beneficial nematodes. Hoping this will wipe them out. I know I just watered yesterday, but couldn't wait, so I gave each plant about 3/4 liter of nematode and ThermX-70 water, ph was 6.9. Still seeing some yellowing on the Orange Bubblegum but only on the lowest leaves which receive the least light. The Strawberry Gushers is definitely beginning to fade, and all 3 are swelling. 12/3/2022: watered each plant with 1.3 liters, at a 6.7 ph, with coconut powder, ThermX-70, and BuildABloom. The Strawberry Gushers and Orange Bubblegum are fading. The Newberry still looks good, except for the one branch with the early fade. Buds look great and all three continue to swell. Still a few fungas gnats flying around, but the population is way down. Plan to water with the nematodes again next watering. Also, started turning the light down slightly. Started with a 50 ppfd reduction. Avg. VPD:1.5 PPFD: 650 DLI: 42

The GG#4 is in a 5 gallon pot while the GSC are in 3 gallons. All of them are looking great! The GSC look super healthy compared to the first round.

Oh my goodness this has to be the most massive bad I've ever had forming. This lady is going to be the densest & most potent plant I've ever grown I can just tell. She loves the environment. I've been trying hard to keep temps cool but was away for a few days and didnt wanna risk leaving the window open to animals without bieng home :/ but I tried hard and the girls look GREAT.
