Start of week 3 - Plants are still stretching and aren’t slowing down either.. I raised the HPS hood because the tallest stems were starting to show signs of heat stress. Hairs are coming on quickly now, time for the ladies to push out some beautiful bud!

White Widow is coming along nicely. Buds are definitely fattening up. She looks and smells good too! 👍 Probably still a month til harvest, but I'll wait patiently.

Now we cut the second Tropicanna XL auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 2.6 kilo wet, this one finished at 2.1kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late and grew and grew :) I enjoyed growing this strain immensely, smells so sweet and fruity, she has the most intense and most delicious aroma ever She brunches off like crazy, gave me a ton of big and dense bud. Lots of grass, in a very short time with a sure success without equal. This is the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid. No joke guys, no false advertising, here we are doing serious tests, I am a good grower but what I can do you can do too nothing humanly alien here the aliens are the vegetables. Here we should try to understand what a great job the breeder has done and notice the differences from the common mortal plants. The first is the speed, guys the plants were born the night between the sixth and seventh of April and were both harvested on the eighth of June. Do some calculations, it is very little really very little time. What is not little is the grass, look at the result on the scale, cleaned to the maximum of all the stems trimmed well. The scent is fruity, sweet and inebriating, the resin is really abundant despite the harvest in June with 35 degrees in the growbox... This is my first indoor tent grow so I´m quite excited. I chose Critical Kush Auto from Barney's Farm, because I heard that this autoflowering plant is ready for harvest in 8-9 weeks. It has a small size, usually 50 cm and no more than 90 cm, which is perfect for my small tent.. Update: 7th March 2021, the seed that I planted directly in to the jiffy didn´t germinate at all.. So I put a second seed and put it 24h into a glas of water and after that 36h into a paper towel and the results are way better!

Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Day 60 Day 25 Flower Showing nice growth still, seeing her stretch now. Healthy looking little one 😁 I'd be happy to see this Terp treez to the end seeing as I had 3 fails. Feeding to tonight 23/04/24 will update pictures after. Day 62 Day 27 Flower - was showing signs of early drying out, and lighter lower leaves so I have done a heavy feed today. 10% run off roughly. She's very happy and healthy, and showing lovely colour potential already in the hues of the leaves. 😍
