The buds are rock-hard and sticky. The overwhelming smell has a sweet and fruity aroma. About 25% of the trichomes are amber-colored, so I'll harvest her in a few days. šŸ‹šŸ’šŸ¦

Just getting going again after some mods to my grow box. I’ve replaced the main CFL bulb with an LED and it is much brighter. I also removed the second carbon filter to create more space in the box. The new setup allows for more even space and light distribution and overall more growing space. With the additional light I thought I would try out CO2 so I added an Exhale365 bag. Starting out with 3 plants, 2 Pineapple Express and 1 Pineapple Skunk. There was some type of burn on the first seedling but that was earlier on and it has grown a lot since I first noticed it. I planted the seeds days apart so a few are behind. Growbox summary: * grow space: 19ā€H x 17ā€W x 21ā€D * 4 small, 1 medium internal fans * 3 gallon hydro reservoir * 6 inch exhaust fan + 4 inch exhaust fan in sequence * 150W Mars Hydro TS-1000 (new) * 3 X 20W LED side lights (+1 new) * Exhale CO2 bag (new) Water temps are ranging from 68 up to 70. It’s a small space, but with light covering all sides I think I can get a decent yield. Last time 3.2 ounces were harvested from it. Hoping to hit 5 ounces this time by creating fewer, but larger colas. Day 6 update: * The pinex-1 is looking a little funky. It has weird leaf growth, some minor defects in color, super short compared to the others, and the first leafs are starting to canoe a little. * pinex-2 and pskunk are looking good and growing well, but the leaves aren’t very green. * decided to bump up nutrients a little by moving to week 2 on the schedule and diluting to 60%. That took the ppm up from 400(200 base) to 630(210 base). Hoping if they weren’t getting enough nutrients that this will fix it. * the new light might be a little to bright for these babies. Dimmed it to about 75% power.

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. It's crazy how much my permanent marker plants have grown! They've really taken off. One's got these super cool purple stems, and the other's covered in buds – it's gonna be beautiful when they bloom.

In Week 6 I’m continuing to see a lot of growth so I decided to add a pk boost to see how it would work. Started off really low at 1ml/gal and now I’m at 2.5ml and no sign of burning and seeing a lot of praying. Going to continue slowly raising until about 5ml or ~900ppm. Other than just watering every other day and light defoliation of the lower third and sites that aren’t getting light, this week has been smooth. White hairs are really starting to show up. I’m really hoping these girls bulk up. Until next week happy growing!

A little defoliation, water only yet about 1/2 to 3/4 of gal every 2 to 3 days, no problems noticed. Starting to show signs of flowering.

Vagwan Ma Boy! How is your mood? I'm sure I have something to interest you in! - The thing here is: The ubiquitous "BOOM" of indica, in particular OG, did not leave many fans of a good staff without close attention and observation for a long period... At one time, as a lover of a good "head bang", I was only interested in a high-quality head-bearing, dense and sofa. Oh, this OG, ma Donna... ...and what do you think, Ma Boy!?šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜›

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ā€˜Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

This indoor run was so much fun and I learned a ton on the way. I harvested the plants on day 68 of flower (I know this post is a bit late as things got a bit crazy with the current Covid situation. I harvested the plants whole and dried them all in the tent. They were dried at about 55RH and 62F. I left one fan and the inline fan as well to help the circulation during drying. in one of the top buds on the lime green Pheno I had one spot of what I think was botrytis. I noticed it early and cut it off the plant. Im not 100% sure but the inside of the bud didn't look right anyways so I got rid of it. This was a great plant to grow. All three strains were pretty similar but just different enough to keep the grow fun and interesting. One Pheno was this awesome lime green with really dense nugs. The other two have loads of crystal and nice purple colours to them.

Another week's in the books, and I'm slacking off on keeping track of this grow yet again. Carl 1 is developing some cal issues, which'll likely be resolved at the next watering. Timelapse is up and yada yada. Again, I'm really just waiting for the weather to turn. The tent getting this crowded isn't something I like, the leaves pressing up against the walls etc. Once the weather is nice enough for bigboi UKBS 2 and Carl 2 to go out, I'll be flipping the tent to flower provided that the other two plants are in good health and have preflowered female. Updates come as things happen. -4/9/2021 - accidentally busted a branch on UKBS 2, taped it up ASAP. Should be fine. -4/11/2021 - UKBS 2 is growing away from the light a wee bit, hopefully it'll perk back up in the near future. Ideally before the tent is overgrown and I'm forced to start hardening them early. -4/13/2021 - UKBS 2 is still being a little pissy, but Carl 2 has recovered from its issue and exploded with growth. Continuing to run out of space.

This week has started of with the girls doing well some new growth. A lot of wind this week but cooler temps. Plastic layer added aswell as gravel on top to help with parasites and possible cooler temps. Plants treated for pest and fungus once a week until flower. Day 3 Sprayed for parasites and fungus. Day 4 It has been raining before day break. Jah has taken over the watering for us today. But not enough. Watered with nutrient water in the afternoon. Everybody praying. Day 5 Removing all leaves with spider mites, washed down the rest of the leaves and sprayed for parasites and fungus. Day6-7 Plants were left in the car of the gods. Plant are looking healthy. The WW that I had to transplant from hydro to coco is fully recovered and roots are already coming out the bottom of the airpot. All three clones are growing healthy and keeping up with the top of the canopy. Ran a mini flush at the end of the week to start the new week out with fresh nutrients.
