this is the last week before the harvest. the buds are formed 100% all in trichomes! this variety is very reminiscent of Afghan genetics. leaves and their shape. I think it should be an indica dominant variety. find out very soon)

First grow, been along time coming

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Buenos días gente linda, la planta se recuperó muy bien de los malos cuida qué tuvo cuándo me toco salir de viaje, paso con agua sin medir el PH 3 riegos por mi vecina, pero, por ser una genética muy fuerte y resistente ya esta recuperanda por completo, estoy considerando pasarla a floración al finalizar este mes de julio, pero veremos que tal esta de aquí a esa fecha, saludos a todos, buenos humos 💚

Hello everyone, fellow growers! my girls continue the vegetative phase without problems with the sog technique. We are testing a new line of fertilizers and so far they are doing pretty well. excellent nuggets are expected!

This will be their last week in vegging 😊 will all be defoliated and vegged for a few days then flipped into flower 🌺🌷 also will all be going into a new 80x80x160cm tent . Had a few condensation problems this week too but all under control now .

1.5 - This lady had some fungus gnat damage and reveg'd a bit so I decided to practice my bubble hash method. I didn't even weigh it haha, I totally forgot but looks about .75oz (21g) Turned out really well! Very strong stoney, sedative high. I accidentally mixed my 76-120 and 120-220 from the first wash, during microplaning, so it's like 4.7* I think. The 25-76um is a little better. Totally worthy of a nail, though I wish I could give it a melt on some quartz to see. :) The other big, non-revegged LA Sunset looks completely different and is thriving. Expecting to put her in the dark this weekend.0 1.28 - I harvested the second full size LA Sunset and it is amazing. Gassy, chocolaty, very pungent.

Day 34 she’s a little droopy and upset with me. She would have preferred to be watered last night. Oh well she will perk up in 15 mins. Looking beautiful and started to flower now she got defoliated a tad bit she’s looking wonderful. Very happy with how she’s chugging along.

Happy New Everyone 😀 🙏🙏 I have now got all of my Photoperiod Girls under a Greenhouse. Its only an elcheapo from Ebay but I reinforced it with a heap of good old Gaffer tape and Zipties. I also ran guide ropes to the ground at the corners for Protection against heavy winds so hopefully it'll stay put. The Wifi Plant just keeps growing and growing and will soon need some type of branch support and I'm thinking of using some of those plant yo yo's. The white residue you can see on the leaves is Diatomaceous earth. I mixed some into the worm/mollasses tea just before I sprayed my plants with it. It acts as a bug deterrent and can't hurt the plant in any way. I also mix some into the worm tea that I feed straight to the soil as Diatomaceous Earth is a fantastic source of Silica which we all know is extremely beneficial to your Plants Health. As Far as my super soil is concerned , so far I have not needed to feed the plants any fertilisers as the soil is providing everything the plant needs. All ive been adding is biodynamic food for the soil itself to keep everything under the surface happy and well nourished. Once flowering begins next month I will need to add an organic Booster to the soil that will replace any depleted resources. Because I only feed water throughout the grow there is no need for any final flush I can simply Harvest when it's ready and dry/cure etc. Thankyou for reading this weeks update 2nd January 2020 👍

8/19. I notice some fading on the older leaves. Looking back at what I been feeding. Looks like I been getting ready for bud, but she hasn't. So tomorrow I'm giving her a solid nitrogen feed. She is growing like crazy. Only makes sense 8/20 Gave her a solid feeding of N. Foxfarm Grow Big. 30 mls in 2 gallons of water. She is getting to be voluptuous, so hopefully I made the right move. 8/22 gallon and a half of tea. This time cow poop and worm castings. She is showing definite signs of flowers. Next watering I'm going to feed her nuits for flowering. Few days ago she was fed a good amount of Foxfarm Grow Big. She is a good size plant, so I'm sure I can get away with another feeding. Just going to make sure there is not a lot of nitrogen. She is forming her colas. Think I'm just starting to see how big she really is. 8/24 and have not had to water for 2 days. Rain and not that hot, however the heat is back. So she is going to be thirsty.
