Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. Bien pues ya tenemos en marcha el 2º seguimiento del perfil... Son 6 white truffles, 6 Apple&Bazzokies de GBSTRAINS y 5 GG4 de GBSEEDS que se empezaron a germinar el 15 de mayo por la tarde sobre las 19:00 Todas nutridas con BOOM nutrients jejeje Todas las semanas iremos viendo los cambios y la evolución, los riegos y las flores que vendrán :) El 16 de mayo del 23 sobre las 07:00 de la mañana pase las semillas del vaso con agua, a los tapers con servilleta. Ahí estuvieron 24 horas mas haciendo un total de 36 horas germinando para después, pasarlas a las macetas de 1 litro. 22/05/23 actualizado, meto unas fotos mas de como van las semillas después de 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar en el vaso de agua. A día 22/05/23 llevamos 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar. ACTUALIZACION DE ESTADO: 30/05/23 Subo unas fotos después de 8 días. Llevamos 15 días desde que se empezó a germinar las semillas en vaso de agua. A partir de aquí, empiezo a contar semanas de crecimiento. Trasplantaremos a maceta definitivas de 7L dentro de una semana o 2.

Going great. Really seeing the p/k boost kicking in. Flowers stacking and growing in girth. This is far more important than length, ask my wife. It’s true. Really. Anyway it’s good.

This week i will flush the plants, meaning i will only give them tapwater with the right ph and with around 450-500ppm. I have overwatered some of the plants under the LED so i will let them dry almost out before giving them water next time.. I have made alot of mistakes i think in this grow but they seem to be doing okay, i have a goal of atleast 50g from each plant, so we will see if thats realistic. Please comment if you have any advise for me or any feedback, thank you and peace out Day 29 the plants are just doing their thing and im waiting for them to dry out before i will give them water again Day 31 Giving the plants water, they are growing quick now though i have some small problems with some deffereinces caused by overwatering i think, because i started the seeds in so big a container it was hard not to. But for my expercince autoflowers dont like to be transplanted Will update doing the week

Day 65 : This lady started to make amber some of the trichomes. So today i flushed this mature lady with around 50L+ . Runout before flush was 1300ppm. After flush the runout was 400ppm. I decided to stop there. The plan is the next watering to be with pure water and when she drinks it chop chop. I goal for 15%-20% of amber. Now lets say that we are between 5%-10%. She has big heavy nuggs, not long but fat enough. LST was perfect on this lady, almost all colas are in the same height and growth. Edit Day 69 : The nuggs are very thick, Stills i don't see the number of them that i want. So i watered with pure water and continue till is ready. Leaves started to getting yellowish, so flush was successful.

Res change at day 29. Have to lower nitrogen a bit cause its clawing and pretty dark. Otherways everything is just fine and it grows nice. Ad calmag 5ml to 20L.

9. Woche Sweet ZZ Auto Royal Queen Seeds ist mitten im Stretch, mal sehen, wie Groß die Dame wird. Sonst bin ich soweit zufrieden, in ner Woche werde ich wohl einen Lollipopp bei ihr machen müssen. Trotz das sie 2 Wochen hinterher hinkt im Vergleich zu Big Bud, sieht sie doch schon ganz gut aus 😃

To tell the truth, I am very surprised myself, how amazing she is FastBuds Gorilla cookies, she copes well with a small space:) she drinks 1 liter every day :) everything looks better than expected:) good luck to everyone.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

Looks great, she's gaining nicely. But could take another 2 weeks before ready. Clones failed, they were already flowering, but was taking them off anyway I'm speculating her to be a 40gr-plant 🤞🤞🤞 Trichomes getting ready, too soon! Starting a few amber trichomes, still little amount, got some time, but will cut her soon, she's not the thickest 😞 could have been a lot worse though. Will have a few weeks extra to the stash 25/11 still mostly white overall same on 26th 06/12 little bit of amber, she looks ripe though, guess a few extra days Lamp is on at night, hope to save electricity costs
