Hello growers :) The Jack Herer plants have had another week. The buds have grown nicely again over the past week and their aroma is really strong. We are slowly approaching the finish line of the entire cycle. It is a joy to watch and especially to take pictures. Those autumn colors and trichome-covered buds are breathtaking. I assume that we have at most the last fortnight until harvest. Enjoy the end of the whole grow with me and thank you for your reactions..

Drying ended after 12 days. Trimming took around 1 1/2 hours and was really easy. No real small or larfy buds to speak of. I'm surprised how well it did considering how high the humidity was in flower it is a very resilient plant. Smoked pretty well off the bat, but needs just a little time to smoke the best. After curing for a month is super smooth and makes fore a very nice dubes. its almost gone! My friend loved it.

These girls are putting on quite a bit of growth. The taller of the 2 really likes to drink a lot of water, and the smaller doesn’t seem to drink much at all. Tomorrow I’ll probably give them their first nutrients. They’ve been in that soil for about a month and only taking the nutrients from that. Hopefully with some more nutrients they’ll grow more aggressively. I couldn’t control myself with the tall clone. I planned to leave it alone and keep her as a mother, but I really enjoy training and figured I could get some pretty large clones from her if I trained her as well. Last night I moved more powerful LED light that I have into the room. My flowering plant just went into 36 hours of darkness before I harvest her, so may as well give these clones about a week and a half of this light. Is it possible to over train a plant? I feel I’ve just tied the smaller clone (biggie smalls) to the soil and haven’t allowed her to really bulk up…

Since my last grow i have a problem with powdery mildew... So on veg. i just spray Sulfur and worked fine... (the smell is terrible....) now i am in flower and found the mildew again... i try a new mixture: dry common horsetail 1 onion 1 garlic cook that for around 1 hour. Then i flux it 1:5 with water. The smell is not so bad and just for 2 days. The leaf and flower not change color or smell. Hopefully it works! i will spray that now every week. Update: Flower Day 20 I start with the Top dressing on all Plants. They start to frost. The powdery mildew spreads :'( i dont know what else i can do?! i spray again!

🌿 Week 7 Veg Report: Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌿 Hello, Grow Fam! We’re now into Week 7 of this exciting adventure with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco ladies, and what a week it’s been! The theme for this week? Patience and appreciation. These girls continue to grow at their own pace, each one showcasing their unique traits and incredible beauty. Week Recap: Slow and Steady Wins the Race The girls are still on the slower side in terms of growth, but that’s part of their charm. Each leaf is a masterpiece, more intricate and stunning than the last. Their prayer posture remains consistent—a true testament to their health and contentment in their environment. They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Here’s what’s in their mix this week: • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L – To strengthen cell walls and increase stress resistance. • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L – For robust development and prevention of deficiencies. • StartBooster: 0.25 ml/L – Enhances early vegetative growth and root systems. The switch to All-in-One Pellets last week has eliminated the need for liquid All-in-One, and the girls seem to be thriving with this natural, slow-release food source. Watering: A Gnat-Free Approach This week, I continued with bottom watering. Filling the trays and letting the soil absorb the water has been a game-changer—not just for healthy root development but also as a part of the war against gnats. Paired with yellow sticky traps, this strategy has kept pests in check while ensuring the roots get all the hydration they need. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Photography Spotlight: Capturing the Details This week, I took some time to immortalize their beauty with my Sony A6000 and Nikon DSLR cameras. The intricate details of their leaves, captured through different lenses, reveal their individuality. 📸 Photography Tip: • Cameras like my Sony and Nikon bring out fine details you’d never see with a phone camera. The larger sensors, interchangeable lenses, and manual controls allow for stunning clarity and depth. • Macro lenses, in particular, are fantastic for close-ups, like capturing water droplets or vein details in leaves. The difference between these and even the best phone cameras (like the latest iPhone) is night and day when it comes to quality and creative control. Looking Ahead: What’s Next? As we move into Week 8, I’m hoping for an uptick in growth speed, but I’m perfectly content to let these beauties take their time. The journey is just as rewarding as the destination, and these girls are proof of that. Shout Outs & Gratitude A massive thank you to: • Terpyz Genetics for these exceptional mutant seeds. • Aptus Holland for their top-tier nutrient lineup. • Future of Grow (FOG) for lighting that keeps these ladies praying. • Pro-Mix Soil for providing the perfect growing medium. • TrolMaster for environmental controls that make my life so much easier. • Grow Diaries for the platform to share this incredible journey. • And, of course, all of YOU—followers, supporters, and even the haters—for being part of this adventure. Your feedback, encouragement, and interaction mean the world to me. 🌟 If you’re curious about the journey, feel free to check out my Instagram and YouTube for behind-the-scenes content, photos, and more! Day 46 of Flower, 93 since germination. Starting to check the trichomes with my new wifi microscope. Looks like Lemon Extract has a scattering of amber trichome heads, but only in bud nearest the light. All other look milky and glassy. I'm thinking Lemon Extract might harvest in one week. The others, maybe two weeks. Gave the ladies their last feeding today. Just PH balanced water from here til harvest.

The Plants had a shorter vegetation period than i had the previous runs. I usually like to „fill up the tent“ mostly with more plant mass. But the timing wasn’t perfect. Im still overall happy with the current state. All organic. Living soil and RO water. And the occasional compost tea. 15l fabric pots wich aren’t ideal for living soil but still work out great so far. Hope you like it too

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we have lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid 80's F. I watered today about 1.5-2 gallons per pot directly from the hose. Well water is 7.6 pH and about 50°F. #1 and #2 got topped today. #2 was topped in the evening at 6.30 p.m. I waited for it to get a little more space between the nodes, so there's a bit of stem above the node. This will help it to not split. Day 2 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. The #3 plant was topped today. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 80's. That evening we had thunderstorms and rain which became severe that night. Hail was in the forecast but we missed it 🙏. I noticed the number 1 plant was growing crooked. I had moved the pots to get more sunlight and the one was uneven. I did some moving and adjusting today and hopefully it will straighten up. Day 4 we had rain in the morning followed by rain and thunderstorms intermittently into the night. Day 5 we had rains early morning and then cloudy most of the day. We have sunshine in the forecast for the weekend. 🙏🙏🙏 All pots were top dressed with 50ml of ferrous sulfate. Day 6 We had sunshine in the morning and afternoon. Clouds began to move in about 3.30p.m. Suddenly about 4:00 p.m. we had a severe thunderstorm that produced heavy rain and grape sized hail. Thankfully the hail only lasted a few minutes. There was some damage to this group, but only leaves. Day 7 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures with highs reaching low to mid 70's. The plants began to show some Interveinal chlorosis in the new growth on day 5. I checked pH and it's above 7 in the pots. I added ferrous sulfate to counter this. On day 6 I noticed the #3 plant falling behind from receiving less direct sunlight. I've run out of space to accommodate the suns procession. I moved it to a better place for it to receive more sunlight. This week produced challenges. The topping was successful, but the position of the plants prevented some of them from receiving maximum direct sunlight. It took a few days to notice the affect on growth. We did not have much height gained this week. There was the issue with rising pH again, but this was promptly dealt with. We survived the challenging weather. Overall a successful week as lots of downward root growth was achieved. This will be evident next week as plants shoot up.

7/18 Plants are looking great. I was able to rearrange the plants so they have a little bit more space and so I can get around every plant. I have small random pest damage (i.e. I caught a four lined plant bug while hunting jpn beetles) but not enough h to warrant treatment. I will probably spray before flower. Sun's out amd plants were praying. I rotated a couple and it only took a few hours for them to "straighten out." I went to look again rhis morning and made the final determination to expand the cage. I'm looking for the 2x4's and the wire in the next couple days. The work that ive done now will but me sometime. I wonder how this rain impacted my soil. 7/19 Plants are looking fantastic. The stretch is starting. One purple punch looks like it's beginning to flower. I think I'm entering the transition period. Jpn beetle damage is evident but not significant. I defoliated a leaf with a a leafminwr or something in it. It's so much easier to get around the plants now. I'm seeing some chunks missing sporadically though. Went to the roses out back and found TONS of jpn beetleson top of each other reproducing. They destroyed that rose bush. I'm going to keep it as a trap plant. My dad's girlfriend wanted to spray it but that doesn't make sense as theflowers are all gone. Dad's grabbing the materials to extend the cage today I think. Right now I can get around every plant but the two big ones in the back. I just cant get to the backs of them and they are huge. Almost reaching the top of the cage. A 4'-6' extension will do wonders in flower. Can't wait. UPDATE: Dad got the 2x4's and we assembled the extension and attached it. He's grabbing the wire as I type this. This worked out beautifully. I had no idea how big the blueberry cheese in the 50 gallon was! This extension (4ft i think) is PERFECT! Then I can get a little extra wire and pull it out if I wanted to. I think I have another 2x4 that I'm going to use in the middle. Lots of great pics and a video I'll upload tomorrow. Hot af today and humidity still super high. Even the commercial dudes was surprised I don't have wpm l and that judging by some of my plants structure that I may do better than I think. I certainly hope so. I WATERED 3 GALLONS OVER THE WHOLE GARDEN. The blueberry cheese in smart pots were drooping. They drink far more water than tje others. I would've given more but we are supposed to have thunderstorms. I left my back tarp off for the night. It will increase airflow and wind is down. I feel like this is going to be my year. 7/20 I updated and loaded everything on the app but notjing would save. Did it again in the website hopfully this saves i didnt put it all up. Didn't water the plants today. Bags seemed okay weight wise. Good thing I did the extension yesterday because those three plants were drooping they were so thirsty. I focused most of the water yesterday on those plants that needed it. The others were somewhat dry but still had some weight. Like i said the blc drinks much more water than any of the other plants. I'm impressed with the growth I'm seeing. Especially since I have been being very stingy with the water and I've only fed like twice and that was just the kelp me/you and big bloom in negligible amounts. I'm watching for deficiencies. I'm just not seeing them. I'm picking up the wire and finishing the extension and then rearranging things. I'll update. UPDATE: WATERED 4 GALLONS CONCENTRATING ON THE PLANTS THAT WERE DROOPING THE MOST. FINISHED ENCLOSURE AND INCREASED PLANT SPACE. TRELLIS WILL GO UP THIS WEEK. VIDEOS WILL BE UPLOADED TOMORROW. 7/21 I should've watered more volume last night. I noticed two plants that seemed much lighter than the rest. After some deliberation I gave them each a half gallon of water. One was the purple punch in the 10 that's huge amd the other was that huge blueberry cheese. I think I'm going to swap places with them, take out a pallet and get some other way to elevate that ONE plant and I'll have even more room. Then I'll add my supports. It's a dream working in there now. I noticed some small interior leaves being used up and dieing. I defoliated them but it was only a couple. I'll need to start nutes at some point. Doesn't need it yet though. I'm going to add some kelp me/you for the heat stress. I need to get the watering down better but it's more difficult when they each have different needs. I kinda have to read the plant. I'd rather be overwatered than underwatered. I tried to upload what I could but some won't. UPDATE: I went over to clip off some fencing that was doubled up AND just to check on tge girls. Found two caterpillars (small but hairy so they were older not the inch worms and possibly what has been contributing to damage on those plants. Things are spread out so it will be harder for insects to move from plant to plant and I have better air flow. I worry that leaving my tarp off might lead to high winds and plants not able to take it buf I digress. I'll add supports later. Plants are huge and drinking far more water than I've been giving them. When I got there several were drooped right over and dry as a bone. The bags are essentially all roots now. I mixed up 8 gallons of water and split it between the plants. I gave less to the two Co trainer plants that weren't drooping and the 10 I watered yesterday that wasn't drooping but for the most part the ones that needed if got at least a gallon or more. The others a little under a gallon. It might rain A LITTLE tonight too. Oh, and since it's been so hot I added 1/2 tsp per gallon of kelp me kelp you to help the plants deal with heat stress. I also noticed that some of the very bottom interior leaves are being used up. I have a feeling ill need to switch to nutes pretty soon. Plus I need to suppirt those plants if I'm going to leave that tarp off and Gove them air. Took a video. But it won't upload here. I'll have to wait till tomm. 7/22 Didn't have much timevthis morning bit I dod a video. Boy those plants loved that water and that kelp. This morning everyone was standing straight up at attention. Supposed to get rain last night but didn't. Good thing I watered. I think I'm going to up the water next watering and then again to the 10% mark if necessary. Especially with the Blueberry cheeses. I'm noticing that a FEW INTERIOR leaves are showing nute deficiencies so I'm probably going to have to start feeding soon. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back over and cut off the extra wire. I'm going to need to water more volume. Specifically on two plants. The two huge blueberry cheese in 20 gallon smart bags dries out much faster than the rest. I'll have to out that on a different schedule or increase the amount given. Next watering will be 1.5 or 2 gallons a plant and it might be tomorrow from what I was seeing. It's super hot and with the added airflow the bags dry out faster. I also went through EACH plant looking for pests and defoliating old leaves that needed it. Plants are still nice and green but a VERY few older interior leaves are showing deficiencies. I know this is Normal especially since they are trying n g to transition to flower. I also saw pest damage on a couple plants. Four lined plant bug. I already found the one on the other plant and killed it but I'm considering doing a spray before flower. I'm thinking either captain Jack as a "catch all", BT which works great but mostly just on pillars or the organocide bee safe 3 in one pesticide. I also have pyrethium and other things. Thus far picking things off manually has been good enough. At the very least they will get an application of BT very soon. 7/23 Held off on watering this morning. Supposed to get thunder storms I DID split a gallon with two blueberry cheese that were the lightest in the 20 gallon smart pots. Thet drink way more. My water volume is going to need to increase. We haven't had nearly enough rain. I'm going to bump it up to 1.5 to 2 gallons each plant which will be 10% for the 20s and a little less for the others. I'm still seeing various pest damage. Nothing bad but I found another couples leaves that were chomped on by a four lined plant bug so I'm debating applying something tonight when I water. I'm also noticing old leaves being used up and some interior leaves showing slight deficiencies. It will be time to start nutes soon. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: GOT THE FEELING I NEEDED TO CHECK THE PLANTS. SOMETHING DODNT LOOK RIGHT ON THE CAMS. WENT OVER AND EVERY PLANT BUT THE TWO I SPLIT A GALLON WITH AND THE PLANT IN THE 50 WERE DROOPED RIGHT OVER. LIFELESS. I SHOULD'VE WATERED THIS MORNING BUT I DIDNT HAVE TIME. I FIGURED THEY COULD WAIT UNTIL NIGHT. EACH PLANT GOT 1.5 GALLONS AT LEAST. I USED SIXTEEN OR SEVENTEEN GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. I GAVE EACH CONTAINER PLANT ONE GALLON AND GOT RUN OFF FROM BOTH. IM NOTICING SKIGHT FADING IN LEAVES BUT IM NOT INTRODUCING NUTES TO UNDERWATERED PLANTS. I THINK 10% IS GONNA BE TGE MAGIC NUMBER. 2 GALLONS EACH. EVEN THE 10 GALLON SMART POT. ALMLST AS BIG AS THE 30S BUT DRIES OUT QUICKER. 7/24 Plants looked fantastic this morning. Defoliated a few leaves that needed it. Showed my commercial buddy and he said things looked fantastic. Since the soils still holding nutes and I'm not seeing many deficiencies I may hold off on feeding. I'm starting early flower now. I will be using nutes soon. I think ive got the watering schedule pretty much down.

On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers. Thanks so much for following along with the grow journal! Maybe it'll help someone with planning or give a general preview for a future grow of this strain. Much love and happy growing!

Zamnesia's Girl Scout Cookies is definitely the queen of this round. It was already understood but the beginning of flowering did nothing but confirm the speed, power and beauty of this truly successful specimen. If all autoflowers were like this we would probably only do this type of plant. We do a good defoliation to give power to the many tops created. Lovey strain, lovely smell we cant wait.

Flowering in week 1 was really not so smooth when I was attacked by red spiders and fruit flies. I need to reduce the dose of molasses and use neem chitosan to fight spiders. I spray them with seaweed every Wednesday and spray vytazyme every Saturday. I will talk a little bit about vytazyme, it is an Australian organic fertilizer that contains a large amount of tricontanol and is completely harmless to humans. They speed up the leaf's light absorption and accelerate the aging of the lower leaves that cannot absorb light. I will have to prune them early in the early or mid-3 weeks, so using vytazyme now will age the lower leaves faster and the plants won't get stressed when pruning. 10/3: pruning leaves, watering each plant 500ml of flowering nutrition and lowering the light to 12/12. 13/3: mix vytazyme with neem chitosan to spray leaves. water each pot 500ml 1gal, pot 700ml 2gal. Remove the nets and lst the stalk low. 17/3:Continue watering pots 1gal 500ml, 700ml 2gal pots. mix neem chitosan with seaweed and spray. 18/3: I extended my shelf to 10-20cm on each side and removed it. wooden bottom lining. I need more space so the tree can grow to its full potential. I raised the lights 5-10cm so that the lights were 30cm away from the top, which is a great distance from the number of lights I have and the heat they release. Hopefully this day next week each tree will grow 10-15cm tall. That means I will have a very good harvest.
