Been away couple of days Day 74 Came back and the lady’s exploded. Dropped down the nutrients since day 60 and started flushing on day 68. I’m waiting for the plants to get brown trichomes. But all in all I’m happy if I don’t fuck it up somehow Day 77 Flushed yesterday the last time. Ppm was 400. I’m a weed smokin momma of 4 kiddos lol and it’s been a crazy two weeks!! 😰 they’ve all been taking turns being sick 🤦‍♀️ so I’m glad it’s over and everyone is feeling better! Week 1 has started off great so far seeing some beautiful green coming. Misting every other day! No nutes yet! Everything is going great so far.

THC bomb has. Een growing well. Should go to flowering this week. Has been really liking the SF-1000 light. Will start introducing bloom booster this week. It is set to grow into a nice bush. LIGHT: Playing around with various heights on the new light. Worried, because Cheecha is not doing well at all. Can't tell if it is nutrient burn, light burn, root rot, or dehydration. WATER: Getting ready for a trip this week, so allowing the soil to dry a few days, then I'll give each plant a good watering with a mild fertilizer mix. TRAINING: The topping looks like it worked well, with noticeable new leaves appearing.

Day 14-21 (May 14th - May 21st) (Day 14) Transplant went well. I’ll wait a few days for recovery then start to harden them off. They’ve been acclimated to the sun pretty well so far from the window but the cold night temps will be stressful. (Day 16) It’s going to be nice out tonight so I’m going to leave the girls outside. (Day 19) I’ve been leaving the plants out all day for the last 3 days and they’re looking great. Better than my tomatoes anyway. Stems look like they’re thickening up too. I’m going to start the autoflowers for this season. I’m soaking them in shot glasses this time. I’m sick of direct sowing and losing plants. I find the soak + paper towel method is by far the most efficient and quick too. I don’t think I’ve ever had a seed not germinate using that method. Direct sowing seems to kill about 1 in 8 of my seedlings. So I’m going to wait until the tap root is about an inch long and will bury them flat, a half inch deep directly into my raised beds/containers. I will keep them moist by hand once or twice a day until they’re looking established. (Day 20) Just had a big rain storm and I let them take it on the chin until it got worse. All seem fine and better for it. (Day 21) All auto flower seeds are just barely poking out. Tomorrow or the next day I’m going to sow all of the grapefruits and g33’s directly into the raised bed. I’m worried that the soil mix in the beds is too strong for such a young plant and I don’t want to risk killing all of them at once. Even promix alone can be hot for seedlings. Pests and cold weather are another two things to worry about outside too. The beds were amended with quarter strength feedings of 4-4-4 Gaia Green all purpose, 3-2-4 insect frass, 1-0-3 kelp meal, 3-0-3 alfalfa meal, glacial rock dust, rock dust blend and oyster shell flour. I mix the amendments into the compost and then mix the compost with the promix directly in the raised bed by hand. I’m just going to dig out a hole in the bed and fill it with pure promix so it doesn’t get any early nute burn. The dr seedsman and exodus cheese are being directly sowed into 3 gallon fabric pots with a pure promix divot in the middle. A friend of mine just gifted me some Thugpug genetics ‘Meatbreath’ bagseed from an amazing cut. This is definitely worth growing this summer so I’m gonna pop them and get them into solo cups ASAP.

Grow is still going great. This might only be week 10. Still noticing a little spotting but not a huge issue. I’ve cut back on the nutes a little because the runoff water PH has been dropping letting me know the soil has a lot of stuff in it. Still amazing grow and lst came out amazing. Smells so strong too, gassy/skunk mixed with sweet.

I started 14 seeds by soaking them in a glass of water for 48-72hrs then planting directly into the soil. Within 48 hours, all 14 sprouted and emerged into their journey of life. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here.
