Hi guys! This is my first grow ever. For this round I'll have 2 Northern Light Auto from WeedSeedShop (WSS). I'm so psych. 😝😁 I'm making the most off the current situation by realizing a long lasting dream off mine. For your knowledge, I'm using a 60x60x160cm grow tent, 2 small fan, an 220m^3/h extractor (220/280) with a 400m^3/h Bull Filter. I'm also using a humidifier for day time and a dehumidifier for night time. The germination pots I used are 7x7x7cm. For the monitoring, I have a low cost meteo station with a remote sensor which is in my grow tent. I'll use BioBizz and GHE for my nuts and BioBizz Light Mix for the substrate. I'm planning to reuse it for my garden on my future grow. I bought an anaerobic composter to this effect. I hope to make around 2 ounce. Take care. Stay safe and masked.😷

Starting to show some class

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. 1st of November, HARVEST, D91 So, after the 24 hours of darkness, she is now beautiful and ready. After chopping her, I hung her for some hours – I had some stuff to do – and after that I did wet trimming since I find it more convenient and I don´t like to trim dry buds. I guess the best way for me would be to leave it drying for some days, do the trimming, then leave it drying some more, but, I sincerely don´t have patience lol. When I was in the last stock to trim (which was the main btw) the top bud looked strange to me so I opened it and it was starting to rot.. I got really sad but what can I do except for trying to save it, right? So I took all the rotten parts out of the top bud and tore it to pieces to watch it closely and keep it from getting any more mold. D94 Today I weighed the half part of the top bud that was already dry and it remained without any mold: 3.6 grams. D97 Everything is dry and now curing, the total weight is 68.6, 65 of the whole plant and 3.6 of what I saved from the rotten bud. I´m really happy with the results, the buds aren´t much dense but they look beautiful. D111 Today is the 14th day of curing. D120 Today I´ll be doing the smoke report, it´s been curing for 3 weeks and the smells is quite good already, I know it can be better but the taste is good already so I´ll be doing it today. My little mutt mix strain has been a very interesting, and unique grow. Huge plant tiny potter, lighter comparison pictures above. I Just started seeing a few stray amber trichromes. I will start her on just ph water in a day or two. Letting her use up what energy she has left. This was a struggle of a grow. It's a baby monster plant. I did juice her too much in flowering. We made it through, and she has some nice flowers with a fruity, and kinda earthy aroma. The next update may be a few days late, but it will be the harvest most likely. She grew great in my autoflower room under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. I will see you soon for the chop. On day 120 Green Gelato #1 was chopped down after being left to dry and 48 hours of darkness. Harvest will be updated next week when Green Gelato #2 is chopped as well. Hulkberry #1 is almost ready to get chopped. Was last flushed yesterday and will be chopped once it gets dry and 24 hours of darkness. Hulkberry #2 and #3 will stay the full week and hopefully will be ready to get chopped the week after.

So this is a super tiny solo cup shot glass 1 oz of soil. Germinated Wait and see!!!

Another week, she is growing great and its time to clean the bottom part of the plant. I remove leaves and branches to focus the energy to the top and not waste it on the lower branches.

I gotta be honest this strain has been making me learn and learn and learn.... lol so I am In the process of choosing the right light setting for them, i have lowered the red setting on my kind k5 wifi xl1000 and they are doing way better! I think I’m gonna keep messing with the reds more to get it perfect! This is why this light is amazing cause every plant/strain is different and reacts to each colour differently, and to have a light that is capable to change the intensity is just amazing! My auto feed is on pause right now I need some parts. I’m using Lotus nutrients it’s A one part grow/bloom/boost, it makes feeding easy. Only feeding half of recommended

A good week here. Girl got watered once through the week. Otherwise just leaving her be. Will top her this week and start to train outwards before flipping. Lights at 40% power. Still having loads of trouble with light burn / stressed out plants. Leaves pointing up, turning yellowish. Lights are now even at 80cm above plants, can hardly go any higher. I'm surprised, because the Hans Panel 180w is used at 30cm in numerous grow reports online with no issues. Must be the combination thats too much. 420 watts in a grow tent, and leaves are burning alive. If that ain't proof that LED's can't 'outperform' HPS ;) Does anyone have tips & tricks for making my plants healthy? It feels just silly to remove a light and continue with only 180 or 240 watts total.. Should I use CO2 tabs or something? Do they actually work at this point? Questions questions.

FINISHED THE FIRST WEEK OF FLOWER, THEY REALLY FILLED OUT NICE FROM THE MAJOR DEFOLIATION I DID 3 WEEKS IN A ROW .SEEDS PUT INTO THE SOIL ON JUNE 22ND SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO TRIES TALKING TO ME....I STILL CANT TALK TO ANYONE BECAUSE I TRIED CHANGING MY EMAIL ON HERE AND IT MESSED EVERYTHING UP. I CANT LIKE ANYTHING OR COMMENT ON ANYTHING. THE WORST IS I CANT JOIN CONTESTS STRIVE NUTRIENTS IS THE BEST IVE EVER USED. A MUST TRY AND I BUY IT MYSELF. GOT A SAMPLE LAST YEAR AND ITS SO GOOD I BOUGHT MORE. ITS A 2 PART POWDER NUTRIENT THAT DISSOLVES IN MINUTES AND YOU MIX THE SAME STRENGTH OF THE 2 PART NUTRIENTS FROM WEEK 2 UNTIL THEY ARE FINISHED (BESIDES THE FLUSH), NO MORE BULLSHIT OF SWITCHING TO BLOOM FERTILIZER. THATS MY FAVORITE THING BESIDES THE RESULTS. CHECK EM OUT AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ BECAUSE ITS NO BULLSHIT, AWESOME FRIENDLY AND HONEST PEOPLE

First heavy trimming

This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody!
