I guess the correct headline here is bud rot. Took a while to figure out why I ran into these issues, after a bit more snooping around and investigating I came to a mostly certain conclusion. My passive intake was clogged with dust, barely any air was coming into the grow room. This, coupled with the fact my temperature and RH sensor/recorder was giving me back dated information and applying it to the present day. I didn’t realise I was getting 80%+ RH spikes during lights out for the last 3 weeks. I’ll call it a lesson, and start to check things more regularly around the grow room, not just the plants themselves. After a heavy crop scout with sterilised gloves and alcohol rub to hand, I carefully pulled back and inspected every cola, washing my hands between each cola. Unfortunately most of the largest colas fell victim to botrytis, in the end I cut off 7 colas completely and carefully sorted through into 3 separate piles on D100. One pile was the bin put into double tied sandwich bags with a good spray with 70% alcohol , this contained directly infected areas with a 5cm radius. (235g including fan leaves and stems (wet)) The second pile was for buds that were within 10cm of the rot sites that appeared to be healthy, this went into a brown paper bag, ready for hash making when I complete the harvest in the next couple weeks. (305g including buds and sugar leaves (wet)) The third, and most limited pile was bud sites that were more than 10cm away from the rot sites. These are now successfully dried and are now in their curing jars. Based on the smell, they already smell better than my last harvest so I’m hoping it’s a sign of things to come. (58g buds (dry)) I had to buy a 4x4 tent to temporarily dry the good buds, and will use again when I do the main harvest. The top colas that are left look a little stressed this week, not sure if it’s to do with shock from early harvest, but I am going in and checking every other day with clean clothes to make sure the problems are not progressing further. Based on the trichomes (video) the samples look like they’re a week or two away from harvest now, so hopefully I won’t have the throw anymore away before then. Anyway, waffling over, mainly wanted the detail for my own reference if I ever have to come back to this (I hope not). Good luck all!

Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 49 (20/07) Para ayudarles a llevar mejor el calor de las horas centrales del día, coloca una malla de sombreo (70%) sobre el invernadero Lo cierto es que se nota que baja mucho la temperatura debajo de la malla! Van a estar más fresquitas! 😍 Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 50 (21/07) Training session! Hago limpieza del tercio inferior de la planta, de todas las ramas y nudos que no superan la línea del dosel marcada por el 4º nudo (1er topping) También hago topping (2º) a todas las ramas principales La idea es tener 12 ó 14 colas principales para que no se hagan muy altas De paso saco unos cuantos clones de las ramas inferiores eliminadas 😁💥 Para superar el estrés, hago las siguientes aplicaciones y riego: - Riego con 1 Litro de Té Vegetativo de Lurpe Solutions. Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

De momento está puesta a secar dentro del armario encima de las luces, a ver si llegamos a los 10/15 dias que me viene operación y así puedo disfrutarla en el periodo de recuperación ❤️‍

first pic is second day this week its may 12 well i think they are doing pretty dam good if you ask me bt i only know so much soo lol let me know what everyone thinks let see i added hydro plex to the mix not really sure if it added to my growth i my opinion growth had already been amazing aha bt we will see spent quite a bit of time pushing big leaves out the way under the second net ehh don’t really think i did any harm bt i cut out everything tiny and under the blanket mid of to nets and down if it look bigger then my fingers it’s survived this round aha broke one water leaf up top on accident ehh oh well not much else just been watching them grow gonna have to change the chains that hold my light they hand about 12 in of the top that i can’t move up any more and plants started catching bit more light burn sadly i definitely need more space bt in the end things are looking good to me end of the week i’m feeling more then blessed with the progress everything just getting fatter tried crimping two branch way to low about to days ago bt there still alive and growing again so all it well decided to try to pull the other two down instead lol hope all had a great week and happy growing (not that you guys should care bt is my birthday today 17th )aha til next time

Приветствую, коллеги! 💚💛❤️ В этот раз я захотел вырастить сативадоминирующий сорт, Strawberry Cream от SumoSeeds как раз подходит: "Прямо из района Эр-Риф Марокко, эксклюзивный гибрид Goji Haze с Strawberry Haze, знаменитой фруктовой сативой от Арьена из GHS. При курении этой красотки будет замечен приятный сладковатый аромат клубники." Звучит интригующе.😏 Теперь пару слов о проращивании: обычно после замачивания в стакане воды(RO water), я проращиваю семечки во влажных ватных дисках и зип-пакете(так мне легче контролировать нужную влажность). Но при этом способе нужно следить за корнем, есть риск вростания в ватный диск, что и случилось с одной из семечек. В этом случае извлекать семечку нужно предельно аккуратно(см. видео). Видимо в следующий раз я попробую менее рискованный способ проращивания. Ах да, перед стаканом с водой я слегка подпилил семечки по острой грани маникюрной пилочкой. Итого: 23.01(вечер) поместил в стакан с водой 24.01(утро) поместил в диски 25.01(утро) появились корни 25.01(вечер) корни ≈1см. посадил в кокос 26.01(вечер) взошли На всякий случай отметим, что чуть позже взошла растишка из правой(на фото) семечки, и она же была заметно крупнее. Кокос(уже с перлитом, спасибо линейке Plagron) я зарядил слабеньким компотом(A+B-2, B52-1, CalMag - 0.5 pH5.9 ppm514), полетели! Спасибо, что заглянули, и будьте здоровы! 🙏 Продолжение следует ...😶
