Heavy defoliation under the canopy and then a couple of days recovery time before I stripped the big fan leaves from above the canopy to prevent the bud sites getting shaded out. Nice airy open canopy now. With this strain in particular you cant take the defoliation to far especially under the LED it seems, tons of growth happening under the LED's really impressed so far. If the buds grow with the same vigour as the vegetation then I am in for a personal best this run.

Tenth week of Veg for most of the girls. Start of second week of flower for Purple Punch. The Sour Diesels are now beginning to flower. Start of the new week, some good growth seen.. can't complain, strong vigorous growth in a short space of time. Can't wait to see how quick she grows over the next couple days. Stay tuned. Day 26 - very quick growth from this one, in two minds about letting her go a bit longer in veg, or to flip to 12/12 at the end of week 4. So far so good. Day 27 - so far doing super good. Im due to flip as i cant wait anymore with the other girls needing to be flipped. But i shall see how she does, no doubt ill be running her again. Stay tuned.

This here is my second grow (1st in CoolGrows tent) and I’m proud to say I’ve fucked up significantly less than my Fyre Festival of a rookie season - 2 plants died in veg then my grow light fell on the only plant left that was 3 weeks into flower, severing 2 colas. So, yeah, while I have def dinked up a few things on this grow, it’s the garden of eden relative to the the nightmare on weed street that was my first attempt. Things I fucked up this time (so far) and won’t do next time: - Overcrowded the space. Got greedy and tried to fit 4 plants in my 3x3x6 tent. 0/10 would not recommend. - Tried growing 1 indica strain with the 3 WWxBBs. WWxBBs quickly grew taller and started robbing the lil indica friend’s light. - Added 2nd net a little late. It’s looser than it ought to be I’m not sure it’s providing ideal structural support to colas but prob better than nothing? - Want to try lollipopping next time. Air flow is ok but fan leaves are blocking light to some lower Bud sites and likely sapping energy that could be going to bud production. I’m probably messing something else up that I don’t even know I’m messing up. If you’re reading this and see something I could be doing better, let me know. Starting this week off again with some nighttime flashlight shots! For their growth, i cant say anything i havent said before, they keep being fast, they keep being awesome, they keep on swelling. Colors are also a treat for the eye, their yellow pistils contrasted by the purple buds, supplemented by the nice green fan leaves. I might even look over the clawing on some leaves and the starting nute burn ;D Staying with nutes, i turned down growth from 3ml/L to 2ml/L for both waterings this week, and ramped up topmax to 2ml/L for the second watering. They still received 2.5L both times, but both are starting to uptake a little less watering, leading me to probably give 2.25L or just 2L the next time, and i will probably wait a day or two more in between waterings. But we will see. I defoliated both on Day 53 pretty aggressively for my terms. This will also probably be the last time i did that, i like how they look now. Maybe some minor leaf-removal if some leaves look at me funny, but probably nothing id call "defoliation" moving forward. Also, some pistils started turning brown. I will, out of curiosity, start checking trichomes, and upload the pics/videos later this week when i will add the usual weekly timelapse. Also also, im still super happy with them. Later this week, here i am adding 3 more shots of both plants and a budsite, and the ever so important timelapse to finish week 8 off. See you next week!

Week 4 Last week was good gave the last defoliation for day 21. Adding a higher feed for her. Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

Hi guys, So this week im expecting rapid growth on all the plants, my plant still has orange spots i call it plant aids 🤣. There on 18/6 light cycle. I will be doing some lst on them to try and fill my grow space out abit. I been soaking them and turning lights down for 2 hours then turning light back up for a few hours then soaking again so on so on. My misses plant is doing better than mine thats for sure tho. Auto Lavender has sprouted. So far everything is looking good. The seedling looks nice, and healthy she is under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light in Agrogardens nutrition. It is my first time using Agrogardens. So we will see how it goes. It's Saturday night as i type this. Week 7 doesn't officially begin till Monday but i fed tonight cuz they needed it so i decided to get this over with tonight. Runtz is billed as a 9 week finish. So these girls are still putting on weight so it may very well be 9 to finish. Tonight i staked all the plants and tied up sagging branches. Plants again fed full dose of bloom nutrients. There's noticeable Thrip damage on lower leaves, but the crop is close and the lady bugs have kept those little fuckers in check. When i found out i had a Thrip infestation in late summer i was pondering killing all my mothers and cleaning everything and have my operation sit idle for a month to knock out any and all Pests. Fortunately i opted to go the lady bug route. I released 700 lady bugs into my operation and have harvested the bugs off the last crop and deployed them to the next crop. I've been soaping my mother's but i'm not consistent in doing that so the Thrips persist. Next crop will be i think 6 Zake in 5 gal fabric pots in Coco.

If you are looking for yield then green gelato is most certainly the one you're looking for. If controlled right you can easy get 10oz per plant on these!

All in all this grow was super easy. I couldve done some things to make it better but she pretty much did all the work. This strain would be perfect for a SOG style grow because it produces mostly a singular main cola nug that's pretty huge and then the bottom nugs themselves are also decently chunky. 4/22 chopped the lower half the plant. Wet it weighs 50grams. Still have the main cola in a dark room for another day or so before im gonna chop. 4/26 bottom half of plant dried in 4 days. 5/2 top cola dried in 5 days. Total weight is less than 20 grams at 19.4 5/12. Ten days of cure and shes looking even better. Spongey thick nugs. Dark red almost brown Pistils with pyramid shaped nugs. I also wanted to not how fast and easy this grow actually was. She has so much amber I probably couldve chopped her 2 weeks previous. 3 weeks veg and 5 weeks flowering and some would chop. Review. Growing 9/10 for ease of growth Super fast and simple. You can Fuck up and get fat buds lol High: 9/10 super stoney. No paranoia Yield:8/10 plant a super short. Like less than a foot. Can probably yield around a zip roughly Bag appeal: 7/10after cure buds look good. Before harvest buds look fantastic as well
