Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 14 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17535.7, Wow what a week of growing! Ending the veg phase healthy and strong! Wow the garden is thriving! Started the week with a compost tea brew and wow growth exploded with vigor! By the end of the week, both Heady OG and TKO have filled in the scrog netting and the canopy is more than ready for the two-week stretch! Also slightly increased VPD levels. As for the veg tent, been on auto-pilot. Basic super-cropping and topping to keep the canopy low and even. The Heady OG and TKO clones are still rooting in the propagation dome and plan on check for roots next week. Anyways, the 12/12 flip begins tomorrow! Maximum warp Ensign! Engage! [START OF WEEK 14] ========================================================== ---------- [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] ---------- Heady OG BX1 #1 [Round4 ~Wk7] - WEEK 14 - Full Veg TKO [Round2 ~Wk12] - WEEK 14 - Full Veg ----------- [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ------------ Garlic Budder OG#1 - WEEK 06 - Full Veg Garlic Budder OG#2 - WEEK 06 - Full Veg Gorilla Goat #1 - WEEK 06 - Full Veg Gorilla Goat #2 - WEEK 06 - Full Veg 07/21/25 → 07/27/25 This Week's Estimated Goals ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DLI: ~19 mol/m²/d PPFD: ~300 μmol/m²/s VPD: ~1.0 kPa This Week's Meter Readings & Averages ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Light On/Off: 16:00 - 10:00 | Wattage: ~326.5W [LV04] Distance From Canopy: ~31”, 31” DLI: ~23.39 mol/m²/d PPFD: ~361 μmol/m²/s VPD: ~0.82 kPa Soil %: [49.6, 36.7, 49.4, 47.6, 42.3, 43.0, 43.1, 44.1] ========================================================== Day 01 - Monday - 07/21/25 - Total Days: 099 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 85.6°F [29.8°C] - Humidity: 80.7% - VPD: 0.81 kPa - Soil %: [50, 37, 50, 49, 42, 43, 44, 44] ----------------------------------- - [23:33]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw! Late night shift in the garden and the ladies are looking beautiful! --- Heady OG (BX1 #1) is filling in the front quadrants nicely with green and perky growth! --- TKO has filled in the back quadrants and she is more than ready to be flipped to flower! Growth is getting a bit crowded, but wow she is green and healthy! --- Time to start tucking! - [+00:16]: Trained and tucked all top growth under the scrog netting. --- Wow the canopy is looking great! --- Heady OG still has a bit more room to spread, but TKO is starting to get crowded with nodes. A good problem I suppose. --- Since this is the last week of veg before flipping to flower, need to start prepping for the stretching phase. - [+00:19]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 55% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 37% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 47% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 48% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 40% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] ------ 42% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#2] ------ 45% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 40% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #2] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [+00:20]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Mothers are vegging along beautifully! Growth is ramping upwards again! - [+00:34]: Super-cropped and lowered the canopy. --- Flattened out the canopy and lowered the top growth by a good 5-6inches. - [+00:35]: Checked on the propagation dome, --- To refresh the air, lifted the top off for a bit. - [+00:36]: Attached two hanging hooks to the ceiling of the grow tent with garden support wires. --- To make propagation dome checks a whole lot easier, this rig should hold the top dome and bar lights. --- Now I don’t need to use my hands during these checkups. Nice! --- Anyways, back to the clones. --- Both clones look green, but Heady OG is still quite droopy. --- The TKO clone seems to be doing a lot better and she looks perky and healthy! --- Using a spray bottle, misted the top growth with RO water. - [+00:42]: Opened a side vent. --- Only one side vent is open. The rest are closed. --- Pots are also flood free and gnat population looks good and low. Will need to switch out the yellow sticky traps soon. - [+00:45]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 02 - Tuesday - 07/22/25 - Total Days: 100 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 80.5% - VPD: 0.84 kPa - Soil %: [49, 37, 51, 48, 42, 43, 43, 45] ----------------------------------- - [10:20]: Alright! Been researching more on compost teas and with about week before the flip to flower, think it’s time to brew up some compost tea! --- Using the TeaLab brewing rig to bubble and mix the stew! --- Going to attempt to brew a fungal dominant tea using a modified compost tea recipe from Dr. Elaine Ingham. --- Unlike most compost teas, her recipe lacks molasses and sugars which promotes a more fungal dominant brew instead of anaerobic bacterial microbes. --- Okay let's start brewing! --- Assembled and installed the TeaLab brewing rig into a 5-gallon bucket and secured the unit using a garden support wire. --- Have a few empty buckets under the main brew bucket for insulation. Not really needed (pretty warm in the lung room), but why not. --- If the pump ever fails, to prevent flood-backs, made sure to place the unit above the water level and resting above the brew bucket. - [10:37]: Filled the 5-gallon bucket with 1-gallon of RO water. --- Plugging the pump in to start the bubbling! --- Have to say that the unit is a bit louder than anticipated, but wow the bubbles are quite vigorous and could not achieve the same level of aeration with air-stones. - [10:46]: Time to pre-condition the water! --- Since I'm using RO water, both chlorine and chloramine shouldn't be an issue. But to neutralize any remaining chlorine and chloramine, going to brew with humic acid for a bit. ------ Added 1/32tsp of Big 6 Micronutrients [+ Humic Acid] ------ Added 1/2tsp of Pure Protein Dry [Fish Hydrolysate Aminos] --------- [ BREWED FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES ] - [10:57]: Okay! Time for microbes and fungi! ------ Added 1/64tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus ------ Added 1/8tsp of: --------- Mycrobe Complete --------- Bio-Phos --------- Great White - [11:10]: Alright! Time to prep the compost bag! ------ Added 1cup of BuildASoil Worm Castings ------ Added 1tsp of: --------- Craft Blend [Nutrient Pack] --------- Ocean Blend [& Trace Minerals] --------- Kelp Meal --------- Kashi Blend --------- Premium Insect Frass [Black Soldier Fly] --- Rolled and sealed the bag before clipping to the brewing rig. - [11:26]: Covered the bucket with a towel. --- Done! --- Plan to brew for at least 8-12hrs before feeding tonight. - [18:02]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ooo yea ladies are raging in the garden! --- Ca-Caw! Heady OG is filling in the tent beautifully! --- Wow TKO is completely filled with tops and she needs to be flipped to flower! She is going to be a beast in a week! Going to be an epic flower cycle! --- Time to tuck and pluck! - [18:58]: Tucked the top growth under the scrog netting. --- Defoliated more of the larger fan leaves. --- Cleaned the bottom for both girls. --- Mulched the trimmings. --- Now both ladies have clean legs! --- Wow TKO’s main stalk is thick! Really wish I started her in a 30-gallon. Oh well. A 20-gallon should still be more than enough soil. I think. --- Anyways! - [19:25]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 49% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 37% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 47% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 48% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 42% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] ------ 40% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#2] ------ 40% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 41% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #2] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [19:26]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and no leaks or kinks found in the tubing. --- All WittFlow units are also connected. Although 2 units are getting low. - [19:42]: Okay time to feed the compost tea! --- The compost tea has been brewing for about 8hrs. --- Before feeding the tea, ------ Added 1/8tsp of: --------- Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --------- Recharge --------- Lotus Cal/Mag ------ Added 1tsp of Horticultural Coconut --------- [ BREWED AGAIN FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES ] - [19:57]: Okay! Tea is ready! Let’s go! --- Unhooked and removed the compost bag before squeezing the water out (best I could). - [20:15]: Emptied the compost into a plastic bin. --- Top-dressed the compost onto the top of both the 20-gallon and 30-gallon pot in the 4x4 tent. - [20:28]: Time to feed! --- Poured 6 cups straight through a plastic coffee filter and into a pump sprayer. - [20:55]: Misted the 20-gallon pot’s straw mulch. --- Sprayed the straw evenly. --- Repeated this process for the 30-gallon pot. --- Also swapped out the yellow sticky traps. --- The remaining solution (~2 cups) was poured into a pitcher and used on the house plants. --- Wow using a coffee filter has completely eliminated the clogging issue I was getting with the popcorn tea (almost bought a new pump). Will be using the filter from now on for all future teas. - [21:00]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Ooo yea! Vegging mamas are looking both flat healthy! --- Swapped out the yellow sticky traps. Pots are looking great and no signs of flooding! - [21:07]: Checked on the propagation dome, --- To refresh the air, lifted the top off for a bit. --- Growth looks green! --- Heady is droopy but leaves look healthy. --- TKO is looking perky, but does have signs of yellowing. Not too worried because this can be a sign of rooting. --- Using a spray bottle, misted the top growth with RO water. --- Opened another vent. Now both side vents are open. - [21:15]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Wow what a day! Since this was my first compost tea brew, hoping I didn’t frack anything up. --- Anyways, Onwards Ensign! Day 03 - Wednesday - 07/23/25 - Total Days: 101 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 85.7°F [29.8°C] - Humidity: 80.9% - VPD: 0.81 kPa - Soil %: [49, 37, 49, 48, 42, 43, 43, 44] ----------------------------------- - [21:54]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw! Headies is getting there! Wow the canopy is almost completely full! --- Heady OG has filled in a few more squares! Nice! --- TKO is full with tops! All mothers are vegging beautifully! --- Trained and super-cropped the top growth. Dropped the canopy down about 4-5 inches. --- Pots also look great and gnat free! - [22:48]: Checked on the propagation dome (in the 3x3), --- To refresh the air, lifted the top off for a bit. --- Clone growth is looking healthy for the most part! --- Heady OG is still completely green, but looks really droopy. --- TKO is looking nice and healthy! She started to relocate nutrients from the lower (yellowing) leaves for rooting and top growth. Pretty sure she’s ready to be transplanted. --- Using a spray bottle, misted the top growth with RO water. - [20:55]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Plan to check the clones tomorrow for roots! Time to check for roots! --- Both Heady OG and TKO have no signs of rooting quite yet. --- Going to let them continue to root in the dome and will check back in a few more days. - [16:25]: Evening check on the 4x4 tent. --- Looking great my girls! --- Heady OG is continuing to spread out to the left and she is almost there! --- TKO is raging! She keeps perking up and am running out of room in the back area of the tent! - [17:22]: Trained and tucked the top growth. --- Made sure to keep TKO’s growth to the back two quadrants. --- Nice! This canopy is going to be full soon! Hyped for flower! Let’s go! --- An advantage of scrogging, is once the plants reach the netting, both the heights and PPFD readings remain unchanged from week to week! ------ All phenos were still around 361 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 23.39 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle (at ~326.5W). ------ All phenos were still about 21.5" tall. ------ All phenos were still about 31" away from the grow light. - [17:25]: Removed the plant support wire which was used to train Heady OG. --- Now that she is fully being pancaked by the netting, the plant wire is unnecessary. - [17:27]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 50% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 37% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 48% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 46% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 43% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] ------ 44% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#2] ------ 41% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 44% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #2] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [17:32]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking beautiful in the veg garden! Now 3 out of 4 vents are open. - [21:18]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Another grow week done! --- Need to check the clones for roots next week and hopefully will transplant into solo cups soon. --- Oh yea! Tomorrow begins the big flip to flower! Ca-Caw! Let’s go! [END OF WEEK 14]

D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

2nd week flushing, watching trichomes with a 60X loupe waiting for a few amber. One plant was chopped last night and hung...patiently waiting for the others😑 Well I decided to take Roberts suggestion and try 2 days of total darkness (thanks) before chopping down the rest. Removed the fan leaves and chopped the ladies down 😇hung them to dry in a dark room with indirect air movement. RH 55% at 20C for 3 days then RH 50% at 18C for a couple of weeks, then mason jars and then lastly 62%Boveda. Will update with dry weight and smoke report😎 Thanks for your comments and suggestions

Day 43 Extreme growth, she is expanding all over I gave her the final 6L of preflowering nutrients, and I think I will be changing over to the full flower blend. I will change and clean the DWC before. PH solid yellow always, really great smell Day 44 Expansion everywhere, main grew about 5cm overnight the stretch is starting, her side limbs are reaching upward she is growing very well Day 45 Today she gets a huge haircut, 90% of those lower leafs and little larf branches were removed Her bud sites are forming very well She is consuming 3.5 litres a day right now The foliar health is incredible, you will notice she is at her max for nutrients, 700ppm is the ceiling it looks like Day 46 extreme expansion overnight after haircut The resin is already growing on the sugar leafs Day 47 The smell is so strong, I have never smelled something this strong from an auto in a tent before... smells like a photo grown outside Flowering is starting very nicely, her bud pistils are shooting out everywhere wanting pollen.. not gonna happen, no pollen anywhere nearby! PH dead on 6.0, yellow always The bud sites are stretching, like fastbuds said in their write up, this one takes a bit longer to veg, but is worth it! I can tell because the resin smells like straight diesel fuel Day 48 she is just exploding all over, her bud sites are doubling in size every day right now the legs are stretching, its amazing to see, grew 6cm overnight, she is drinking more, almost 5 litres gone in a day this is the most exciting part of the grow im my opinion, each day you can see real development. The resin is already growing so thick on this one. Day 49 Whenever Fastbuds gives guidelines on their strains, I make sure to read Sebastian's write up every time, multiple times. They always include beneficial grow tips that are facts. The reason why this plant is growing exceptionally well is because of Fastbuds strain specific advice on the website.

Happy grow... 😎

Hello friends! I am glad to be a participant of such a large-scale and simply cool competition! Thanks to the organizers and the website administration for such an opportunity. I will say a few words about my plans. I am going to grow 2 plants in one pot, using the Mainlining method. Good luck to all participants! May the best one win!

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

This week has been great.I'm glad that I was able to pull the plant when I needed to. The weather out here isn't always the best coming towards the end of October. How ever i handle it the best we can. What ive learned to do is wet trim before hang dry. Heres some phots of these glossing nugs. Iknkw ill lose a bitin water weight but im happy none the less. Fire 🔥 This has been a great grow, I learned a lot from Growing out here in new mexico. It was amazing to be able to train these plants 4 into one using training techniques. LST, HST, Defolation & topping all play a roll. It is fun to learn and sharpen my skills. I hope everyone enjoys my diary. Thank you so much Divine seeds. I appreciate the free seeds and the friendly community competition 👌 There's a lot of good growers outthere and I wanna learn from all. Much love ❤️ I'll be back with a smoke review soon
