While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. I've numbered the photos by date to see the progress a little better, I have both my Spider Farmer and now I've the special queen photo period under its own light, now a mars hydro given to me by a friend :) Decided to get the scrog net up last night, first time using one so I'm looking forward to see how I get on. I've decided to come away from biobizz and move across to the remo range so I just gave the plants two litres of water on Monday. They've dried out rightly. I have an air line going into the bucket and making a tea! I can see slight frost on some of the leaves and the stems which is cool. All suggestions/tips welcome! Stay Frosty Bazza ✌️🏼

Very dense buds, the most dense I ever had .... I think .... They are ubersticky and have a super intense sweet smell (that covers the entire house by now 🤭👃) Really happy with this one... Could be one of my best outcomes in a very long time... Could be forever

October 22, 2021 Dinafem Quick Critical is looking great. Amazing growth this week!!! CBD Medi Kush is growing slowly and is a little twisted, it might not mean anything at this stage we'll see how she performs in the upcoming week. Critical Sour finally popped around 9 days after planting the original seed, I had planted a second seed when there was no seedling after 7 days. that new seed popped in 6 days and looked much healthier than the first seedling. I pulled the first Critical Sour seedling and will be growing out the second seedling only. Dr Bruce Banner has not popped either of the two seeds, its now 14 days since the first seed was planted and 14 days since the second seed was planted. I'm going to leave the pot in the tent for a few more days to see if a seedling appears, but if nothing happens soon I'll pull the pot out of the tent and just grow out the other three.
