Sugarlato really starting to come on well now.. small compact plant only around 50cm in height so far in 15 litre pot. Looking like its flowers will be nice. All round the best out of the 3 strains in the tent. Smell is moderate right now but filter is on inside the grow tent. Updates will be coming again in a few days DRSHOTZUK

Week 4 a very healthy plant, not as tall as I imagined in a 15 litre pot so hope it still produces half deecent yield Also have a banana purple punch on the go but it’s not as healthy as this and another I have DRSHOTZUK

And then your branding/research helps give me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination start date 2/13/24 Germination took 6 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 29hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. Something I would only attempt if they were both floating. They were,so leaving them that long they were able to crack open. I then placed both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 3 days (1 day too long in retrospect). I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. They popped out from the pods 1 day later but I gave them 2 days before transplant. Video: Incubator water level is key for rapid rooter pods to wick properly during incubation. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: Feed this week will be limited to two1 cup feeds at 6.3 to 6.4ph of plain RO water. The first feed is transfer day and the next 4 to 5 days later. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

I'm anxiously waiting for it to dry, good colors and smell

Week 9 in the grow tent has been uneventful. The ladies buds continue to fill out and the hairs have turned to orange on .Started to flush Banana Purple Punch. And feel she may be ready to harvest by this weekend. The other ladies appear to have a few more weeks.

2.17.2024: End of week 3. Plant is heathy and doing well. Pistils are showing and def in the preflower stage. Would wager there will be noticeable bud development at the end of this week. Still no nutes given although i would have to imagine its getting to be that time. No defoliation yet, only slight LST to the bottom branches. 2.18.2024: Start of week four from seed. Holding course. 2.19.2024: Day 31 from seed. Plant is drinking more. Gave 64oz at 6.4ph. Run off ppm was 1450 at 6.6ph. Essentially 4 full weeks from seed before i need to start feeding. Next watering will contain nutrients. 2.20.2024: Plant is doing its thing. Firmly in the preflower/early flower stage. Growing 1/2 to 1 inch a day it seems like. Still can't bring myself to do any defoliation. 2.21.2024: Day 33 from seed, 29 from sprout. Picked up the pot this morning and it was very lite so i gave it another 64oz at 6.3ph. No run off this time which tells me they are starting to need more water or i need to up the frequency. Still no nutes in 33 days! The branches of the top 2 large fan leaves this morning were sagging a bit with a touch of purple on the stems. Chalking that up to water but will monitor as we progress. 2.22.2024: Besides white tips on top growth, steady as she goes. I'll post a pic of the white tips. No idea how to solve. Plant is totally in flower but since we're almost at the end of week 5 from seed, i'll keep the diary in "flower." 14.5 inches from soil to top. Would love to see these get to 24 inches by the end. 2.23.2024: Upped water to 96oz at 6.4ph. About 2 cups of run off at 6.4ph and 1500ppm. Original soil still has nutes to offer at day 35 from seed.

2.17.2024: Start of week 5, day 29 from seed, day 25 from sprout. Plant is healthy from what i can tell. Top of the plant's leaves all have slight white tips from what i'm assuming is light stress? Light is 16 inches from top of plant at 112 watts. I've let it pretty much do its thing so far. Branches are rather short making any sort of LST hard. Pistils are clearly visible so i'm assuming we're entering the flowering stage. Wouldn't be surprised to see the first signs of bud growth by the end of the week. Still no nutrients given. The fan leaves are large and blocking bud sites so perhaps i'll clip soon? Will upload pics today. 2.18.2024: Plant is responding well to the increase in light intensity. Still can't bring myself to take the large fan leaves off. 2.19.2024: Day 31 from seed. Plant is drinking more. Gave 64oz at 6.4ph. Run off ppm was 1450 at 6.6ph. Essentially 4 full weeks from seed before i need to start feeding. Next watering will contain nutrients. 2.20.2024: Humming along. Now firmly in the preflower/early flower stage. Growing 1/2 to 1 inch a day. If anyone is reading this, please tell me its ok to chop the big fan leaves blocking bud sites! 2.21.2024: Day 33 from seed, 29 from sprout.
