I need to learn how to clone better. Half of them died. No skylotus clones survived. ALL of the Terpenado clones are making roots but Space Monkeys didn't make it and half the Herer Hashplants made it. I can pinpoint a couple errors I made: 1.) Didn't sanitize a god damn thing. 2.) Didn't cut the stems at a 45 degree angle. 3.) Put waaayyy to many nutrients in the cloner reservoir. I mean...one the Space Monkeys was just rotting the humidity dome. Terp 3 clone didn't even droop. Terp 2 clone died and Terp 1 made it out as well. I took more cuttings this week and put then in Root Riots. I have a good feeling about them. So good that I think I will flip to flower this week. Terp 2 has developed a powdered milk with strawberry scent when doing a stem rub. The other two are the same. Terp 3 is offensive. I fucked up again when taking a cutting from Terp 1....snipped another top. She's gonna grow like a snake. I am being overzealous with the nitrogen. The leaves are quintessential nitrogen toxicity at this point. Gonna flush for a day or 2 and then flip. Day 39 - Flipped to flower today. Most of them are starting preflower and I tried to identify the sexes. I'm hoping atleast 2 of the Terps are female...we will see though. I really don't wanna build a bunch of male isolation chambers right now.....didn't feed today. They have plenty of nitrogen. Day 40 - I have a skylotus that was germed at the same time as the terps and HE is a male. I hear that males will preflower earlier. I'm going to use this as a reference point and assume that my Terps are females since they haven't sexed yet. Of course...I could be completely wrong. First day of 12/12 and they are thirsty af. Nitrogen ended up not being a problem. I fed them bloom nutrient today to kick start flower. The extra phosphorous should kick em into gear. Day 42 Terp 1: Bright Strawberry Smell, almost no gas undertones. Not sexing yet. Might have issues from vermiculite mixture. Terp 2: Bright berries with strong gas undertones. Earthy funk somewhere in there too. The least bushiest out of all of them but good node spacing. Started off the smallest but picked up good speed later. Kept up with #3 well. Definitely not as hardy as the other terps. Her clones died while Terp 1 and Terp 2's clones feigned death but eventually gave me strong roots. Terp 3: Funky Strawberries. Like...Strawberry Fanta cut with diesel and old Bustelo coffee grinds. No bright berry scent. Makes me gag a little. Growth is superb. Strongest out of all three and a hungry gal to boot. Confirmed female as of about 2 days ago. She's fast, hardy, decent node spacing and gave me her terpene profile a long time ago. Was bigger than my Crem De La Chem of 4 weeks at 2 weeks. Didn't stretch until flower switch. Got a healthy clone of her too. So far she's the winner.

- We had a flying start until 7-10 days ago when we noticed some toxicity early signs, * Dark green leaves, * Slow bud progress * Burning tips, * Crispy leaves. ⚠️ PH testing at mediums(soil) run off and the confirmation was there. Too low PH (<4) & the roots started to lock down = (slowing nut - water uptake) -> slowing transpiration -> showing ☝️ toxicity-deficiencies. - We stopped feeding and started to flush with tap water at 7 PH (3 waterings -7l/plant), at first run off was really low (under 4 PH) and after the flush we were at 5 PH. - From now on we will adjust our waterings at 6.5 PH and start microdosing atami PK and snacks. - The plants responed quickly after the first flushings and we will be back on track fast. - Room smells like sparkling lemonade 🍋 only when teasing the buds, the humidifier/ionist keep the smells low and fastening the transpiration. * Update at half week 6.👇 - After flush we start feeding with the atami duo and some snacks, the PH steady at 6.5. - Buds fattening faster the last days.

Skywalker OG — Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy Week 8 from seed | Week 3 Flower Another week in the jungle with our Skywalker OG girls growing under 12/12 from seed, and the room is looking healthy, vibrant, and full of life. For anyone joining the diary now, here is a quick recap of the journey so far. These plants were grown 12/12 directly from seed, a style I enjoy exploring because it allows the plant to express its structure naturally while keeping the cycle compact and efficient. After the early development stages and a recent defoliation session last week, the girls are now entering a beautiful phase where the canopy starts filling again. And as often happens after a good cleanup… it already looks like no defoliation ever happened. The Skywalkers are doing exactly what they do best: growing bushy, strong, and lush green. The canopy is filling fast, and by the looks of it, we may have another light defoliation session coming soon to maintain airflow and light penetration deeper into the plant. ⸻ Environmental Conditions At this stage the room is running slightly on the aggressive side, but with strong airflow and air exchange we are keeping things stable. Current room parameters Temperature: ~28°C Relative Humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing) Airflow: Strong circulation + active air exchange Yes, these numbers are slightly higher than the textbook recommendations, but the key here is air movement and gas exchange. With strong airflow inside the canopy and constant air renewal, the plants remain comfortable and actively transpiring. Still, over the coming weeks we will gradually reduce humidity and slightly lower temperature as the flowers begin to develop further. ⸻ Light Intensity PPFD in the room varies depending on plant size and position. Most of the Skywalker OG plants are receiving between: 800 – 1300 PPFD There is also one wild card in the room pushing 1800–2000 PPFD, but that plant belongs to another genetic experiment and not to the Skywalker OG group. For the Skywalkers, the current light intensity is pushing vigorous growth without visible stress, which is exactly what we want at this stage. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The girls are clearly eating well right now. Current nutrient EC: 2.4 Runoff EC (substrate): ~0.9 This tells us the plants are actively taking nutrients from the medium. As long as the plants continue eating and the runoff remains stable, the recipe stays the same. If feeding slows or runoff EC starts climbing, we adjust accordingly. For now, the system is balanced and working. ⸻ Current Nutrient Recipe The current feeding program includes: CalMag Pro Terra Bloom Power Buds Green Sensation Pure Zym Sugar Royal Vita race is available as a foliar spray, but at this stage of flowering I prefer not spraying the plants unless absolutely necessary. Keeping flowers dry helps avoid unnecessary risks. ⸻ Why We Transitioned From Power Roots to Power Buds Early in the cycle the focus was on root development, which is why we used Power Roots. Now that the plants are established and entering full flower development, the focus shifts toward flower initiation and early bud formation. This is where Power Buds comes into play. It helps stimulate the plant’s natural hormonal signals related to flower site formation and bud development, encouraging the plant to direct more energy toward the reproductive stage. ⸻ Why We Added Green Sensation Green Sensation is introduced at this stage to support: • bud development • terpene production • overall flower density • plant metabolism during bloom It acts as a metabolic booster, helping plants maintain energy while building flowers. The idea is not to push plants aggressively, but to support their natural flowering process. ⸻ Mixing Order — Why It Matters The order in which nutrients are mixed is often overlooked, but it is important for solution stability. The mixing process always starts with CalMag. CalMag is added first until the base EC reaches approximately 0.7. This establishes a stable mineral foundation for the rest of the solution. After that we add: 1️⃣ Base nutrient (Terra Bloom) 2️⃣ Flower additives 3️⃣ Enzymes and metabolic boosters Adding nutrients in the proper order helps prevent chemical precipitation and nutrient instability, keeping the solution balanced and fully available for the plant. In other words: Chemistry matters. ⸻ What to Expect Next Over the coming weeks we expect to see: • more vertical stretch slowing down • flower sites stacking • increased aroma development • stronger nutrient demand The main focus will be maintaining airflow, light penetration, and environmental balance as the canopy thickens. If the jungle keeps expanding at this pace, another selective defoliation may happen soon to keep the plants breathing comfortably. ⸻ Final Thoughts For now the room feels alive and balanced. The Skywalker OG girls are healthy, green, and moving steadily into the flowering phase. It is always a pleasure to watch the jungle slowly organize itself as the plants begin their real work. ⸻ Thank You A big thank you to everyone following this diary. To the OG supporters, the new growers, the curious readers, the critics, the silent observers, and the GrowDiaries community as a whole. Whether you comment often or simply watch quietly from the background, you are all part of this journey. And of course, gratitude to the partners supporting this work. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

Performed simple maintenance this week. Provided nutrients. The flowering has increased dramatically. I discovered five areas showing a boring worm has entered the branch where the leave connects to the node. I have sprayed with monterey BT to start control over the worms. I will spray three days later after the rain. I will continue until a week or two before harvest. These worms can do serious damage so I’ll be aggressive to ensure a healthy harvest.

Overall this was a wild grow. Had some ups and downs, trial and error, but at the end of the day I learned a lot and I’m going to keep on trying new things. Wish the solo cup challenge was still going on I totally would have won.

Another great week for these girls! They look great! Yes, thats what they look like. No filters, just frosty buds. They have a very unique "sweet/candy" smell to them. It's very hard to pinpoint. I'll be so curious what the final product becomes. This tent is doing wonderful compared to the disaster this week in the other tent. (A whole set of genetics hermed mid flower and another girl got aphids). So this is great to have such a wonderful tent here. The trichomes are really coming through now. The amber is starting to show on one plant. I'm happy cuz the breeder says 55-63 days but I might pull the one in the middle at 49 days. We
