Just germinated the 3 OG Kush seeds, only one had a tap root. Decided to soak my White Widow just in case only one OG plant makes it. 6 plants in total (if the other 2 OG makes it)

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. Day 2 we had rain in the morning followed by sunshine, then thunderstorms that night. Day 3 we had rain and thunderstorms that morning and intermittently throughout the day. Day 4 we had rain in the morning and cloudy until the evening when the sun came out. Day 5 we had rain in the morning then mostly cloudy until the late afternoon. Day 5 we had sunshine and clear skies until the afternoon. Around 4:00 pm a severe thunderstorm hit. It produced strong winds, heavy rain, and grape sized hail. Fortunately the hail lasted only a few minutes and only damages some leaves. Day 6 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures in the mid 70's. Day 7 we had rain and thunderstorms through the previous night and into the morning. We had sunshine, clear skies, and temperatures in the upper 70's. That was followed by severe thunderstorms, rain, and a touch of hail from 4p.m. to 6p.m. The weather has been challenging this week. Rain everyday or night and lots of it. The rain on night 6 and morning 7 has started turning the hairs of TCA2 top bud brown. There's no softness and I hope it's not the start of rot. These fastbuds have taken a beating from the rain and there's more in the forecast. Other than the rain the buds are starting to smell and grow. Overall it was a successful week.

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! 17.3.25: So I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with 4ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. I have really overdone the nutrients, I got carried away 😅 To try and rectify the situation, I've cut everything out except Cal-Mag amino acids. I will try to just stick to this with some Biosys, but I'm running out of that now, too. Anyway, with Or Without, I'm sure it'll balance out. Fingers crossed 🤞

2025/01/07 The little ones are growing diligently. Ami and Amber have developed a CalMag deficiency, so I’ve slightly increased the CalMag dosage. 2025/01/08 Today, I transplanted them into their final 18L pots. Maybe a bit early, but I think it's better too early than too late. 2025/01/11 The ladies are growing great, and the CalMag deficiency seems to be resolved. 😊

SATURDAY 8/11: It's late Friday night..early Saturday morning..might as well start week 8! All systems are 'GO', and it's looking like I'm about 10-14 days away from starting the flush on WW#1 and maybe EM#1. I'm salivating 😍 I just gotta get these temperatures down a bit more.. SUNDAY 8/12: Yesterday I ordered a couple of 15.0 UVB 26w CFL bulbs to suspend over the girls that are the closest to finished..try to get them to ooze some more THC for me. Today I started germinating 7 more White White Autos from CKS and 4 more Candy Cane Autos from CKS. They will also be planted in 5gal fabric pots. They will be grown in the veg tent and moved into the main tent as space becomes available. The current crop will be harvested in waves, so I'll just employ stools for the new arrivals until everybody's been harvested from the current crop and I can lower the light again. MONDAY: I'm really starting to see the effects of the heat stress from this past week. So many dead or dying leaves. Temperatures are staying below 90 at the canopy and closer to 80 at the floor during the day..varying between 83 and 87 for most of the day and climbing to about 89 by sunset. It drops to 78-80 for 5 hours of nighttime. That's a shitload better than the mid to high 90's of last week, but the damage, I'm afraid, has been done.😢 EM#1 and WW#1 aren't gonna have enough vegetation left to do much else and I want to trim away the necrotic shit before it reaches the sugary stuff. There might be enough lower leaves left alive that I can just harvest the main colas and let the lower regions be for another week of swelling and flushing, but if not, they will get one more dose of tiger bloom and cha ching in 2 days, then two days later I will flush them really well and trim off all the dead shit. Let them dry for another day or two and flush them one more time really well and put them in the dark for a day before harvesting. EM#2 still has a good bit of green in her big fan leaves and will probably perk up and show me some more bud development.🙏 EM#3 hates anything above 85 degrees, so I'll probably never make her happy..😟 WW#2 and EM#4 don't seem to have been bothered by the heat near as much.👍 CC#1 and CC#2 don't like the heat at all..but they are killer dwarves and will pull through just fine.👌 I mixed up 7 gallons of ph'd water with calmag, bud candy, big bloom (no nitrogen), and a very heavy dose of boomerang and douched everybody really well. TUESDAY: The crispy girls got a big haircut today. I cut away most of the necrotic stuff on EM#1, EM#2, and WW#1. Buds should stay pretty for another few days...and wow are they pretty! The 3 plants still have enough foliage that I've decided to let them bask under the UVB lights for a day or two between flushes...see if I can't get them to ooze a little more of the good stuff. I moved them into the areas in the garden with less PAR..mainly 660nm reds and the UVBs. I also raised the lights about 2 inches. Pretty sure that EM#4 and WW#2 are within a week of finishing as well. So far, I have 3 new WW and 2 new CC sprouts planted. One WW has emerged thus far. She shall be called "WW#3" unless she earns a nickname. New photos and video clips were taken today. WEDNESDAY: I had a 100% germination success rate with the 7 new WW's and 4 new CC's! They all got planted today, but I ran out of soil (still waiting on Amazon shipment) so I had to plant several of them in smaller pots and will have to transplant them to 5 gal pots when the Happy Frog and Coco Loco arrives. They are in the veg tent for now, but it looks like I'll have plenty of room for them all in the big tent within a week or two. WW#1 and EM#1 got flushed with 6 gallons of ph'd spring water today and will have another day/night to bask in the UVB and deep red lights, then I'll put them in the dark for another day before lovingly hacking them to bits. 😜 EM#2 isn't quite ready yet..various up-close looks at her 14" cola told me that she still has time..probably only about 20-30% cloudy trichromes now, so more Cha Ching for her tomorrow! EM#4 is in a hurry to finish..betting tomorrow will be her last nutrient dose. EM#3 is a slow-poke..maybe two more weeks or more to fully fatten her up. CC#1 is gonna be a quick one for sure..maybe another week or 10 days at most. CC#2 might be 2 more weeks. THURSDAY: Mixed up a 2 gallon batch of early flowering nutes for the CC's and Bush Bitch, 2.5 gallons of late flowering nutes for WW#2, EM#4.. and I decided that EM#2 just isn't ready yet, so she got late flowering nutes as well. The pots on WW#1 and EM#1 were still very heavy, so they were allowed to soak up the reds and UV's for another day to hopefully dry out a little more. FRIDAY: WW#1 and EM#1 are still hoping for a reprieve from the Governor, but it's not looking good for them...their sentences are set to be carried out at dawn. Last night they were stripped down and taken into lights-out solitary confinement to await their execution. They were given no last meal and when asked if they had any final requests, they asked only that they be cremated in a series of small fires spanning a couple of months. 😏

This is the final week! My wife will be having a baby on 3/11/19, so I need to harvest on 3/10 no matter what. The trichomes are looking good. Mostly cloudy with a few amber and a few remaining clear. I could probably push this another 5 days or so, but since this is already a pretty heavy indica, I think this it great time to harvest, particularly given the circumstances. Really happy with the level of frostiness on these buds...they look super dank!. Can't wait to harvest and cure these babies :)

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

(12/23-12/29, days 56 to 62) Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 6 Notes & Observations: No new issues to note, no mites found after the first and I have used Spinosad twice now just in case. P2 is getting stressed over ties and no ring, so I decided they will both go on a ring after i broke another branch without realizing it. Found it the next day and then topped the other side to gain two colas there - still 8 set but with varied start time's and points. Still looking to flip around new year’s day. Day 58 (last feed was day 55) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 1oz. (12lbs 10oz before last feed) and P2 weighed 11lbs 8oz before feed (11lbs 8oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of purified water with a mix of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 300ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 190ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.75ph (6.25 last time). After feed this time, P1 weighed 21lbs 5oz and P2 also weighed 21lbs 11oz (both weighed 20lbs 9oz after last feed). I got ~8 cups of runoff on P1 and 10 cups on P2 this time (8 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 after last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.42 with 970ppm (6.36 with 1110ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.41 with 980ppm ( 6.35 with 1170ppm last feed). no top soil tests this time as ph is mostly showing no issues - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.5 to 6.75ph again - I dont see any issues from feed or training.
