Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of my Sundae Driver which I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didnt do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I wont make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why I cant select them on this site anymore, I know they got sold but they don't list them under either name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. I dont really do any LST until I get get the first toppings done, because my primary goal at this stage is to ensure she grows a strong set of roots before I start manipulating her. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for this Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I dont need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep this ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. The stretch is over, time to bulk up. The terps are getting stronger now. Piney, woody, and spicy. Hoping for some mint terps soon. She is really getting frosty . Everything grows back fast after I defoliate her. Week 5 of flower. I love that I can see some blue 💙 in her leaves now. I noticed some blue 💙 coming through in week 4 of flower.

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. 26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that! Day 79 Jeez plz stop growing in height!! After this shaky video i raised the leds 10 cm, now i'm for real out of space.. I'm adding 10 to 12 liters every day, alternating ro with only silica one day and the other with nutrients.

I’ve been a little busy with school and haven’t been able to update the grow. this video is from day 39 in flower. The smell is amazing and very pungent. My whole place would reek if I didn’t have the carbon filter

Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.

Today I trimmed the tops of the plants. development is good. Tomorrow I will increase the amount of light. Day 14. Tomorrow I will start spraying with Delta 9 and get ready to start flowering. Let's move on. =)

This baby is a beast right now I neglected how this week because of putting in extra hours at work. When I got home yesterday the pot was completely dry and the bottom leaves started to yellow . But I know she’ll bounce right back with some TLC .
