RQS Titan F1 week 5 Hello friends and followers, 2/25 This has been an exciting week. My Titan girls started flower 🌼. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 6.5 inches. Last week I noticed her new growth was getting long and thin. A sure sign the pistils will emerge in a day or two. T3 started flower 🌼on 2/25. 2/26 Surprise surprise, T3 stretched an inch overnight and T2 about a.5 inch. That stretch meant I had a busy plant workday ahead. First, I defoliated T3 since I could see what I had to work with. Then because I’ve been following @yan402 on his Titan grow, I said I was going to top her. He said its ok if done correctly and at the right time. Well, fingers crossed 🤞, I hope it was not too late or cut in yhe wrong place since T3 was already in flower. Her short (.75-1” long) stems are so close to the stem, it was difficult getting the tie down pins placed. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering 😅 at 2.5 inches. T2 was defoliated on 2/26 as well. Her defoliation pictures above show how many I was able to trim off 7 and the leaf relative size. T2’s largest leaf is the size of a quarter and the smallest set I cut off, about the size of a penny. I keep supplementing and folar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper excess.  Slowed Growth,  Fewer branches  Internodal Chlorosis  Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball) Given these symptoms of copper excess, and that RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. How I wonder? The copper wire is separated from the plant and soil by coco liner (which should be neutral, then coffee filters because I thought the soil would was out). Then the soil and plant. T2 is towering at 2.5 inches and started flower on 2/29. I expected a delay in her flowering time (4 days after T3) since she was transplanted to the teapot when T1 failed to thrive (maybe also the teapot cause?). Any time you train your plants, the stress causes delays in flowering then harvest. I defoliated T2 on 3/1 day 30. The pictures after defoliation show the tight node structure with 3 or 4 nodes crammed in only 1.5 inches of the main stem. Sheesh. So, as we enter March, we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest will be April 13-18. Be sure to come for my tea

Chopped and hanging in the smaller tent, I’ll be back with edits for jarring and curing… The Acapulco Gold smells like sour green apple WarH3ad candies 🍏 leaves my nose tingling. The Laughing Buddha smells tropical, lot going on in its profile I’m not quite sure what kind of fruit cocktail it reminds me most of but it’s more sweet and creamy. Next up, I moved 4x clones of the Laughing Buddha into the 4x4 tent, and setup drip irrigation. 💧I’ll start up that log soon. 🤘 I’m high.. HIGHLY recommend grabbing these strains from Barney’s Farm. 🏆

02 October 2018 - Day 99 3rd day of flush and we see her begin to grow nicely. Day 100 - Happy lady as she gets densier and begins to really smell. Day 101 - She is maturing lovely. Day 102 - Orange pistols curl. She is on her way. Day 103 - Mature and ready. has thickened up significantly. Day 104 - Water topped up and pH balanced 5.4 Day 105 - Trimmed after the video.

The Plant is getting very bushy and I am thinking of dedefoliating the plant but I am unsure because of it being an Autoflower in the early stages.

Just a normal week of watering, curing, slow bending and stem arrangement.. Two times water since monday, maybe today (sunday 14) imma water a lil bit :)

The bean was soaked in a 25c solution of humic acid calmag and more roots for around 12 hrs then put into a paper towels for 18 hrs.. taproots came and they went into a jiffy.. As they get introduced to some photons I will give some fastplant spray.. Details... Growing Jack Herer feminized seeds (indoors and outdoors) As for cultivation, Jack Herer is a reasonably thick and productive plant that produces enormous buds. Make sure that the branches are supported to prevent snapping. Most Sativa plants should be controlled indoors by training or pruning a little. This plant is already good for harvest... It's so early! The colas are huge and fat. The trichomes are cloudy with plenty of amber. We took some samples a few days ago and tried it in the vaporizer. We're starting the chop and trim this week. My next post on this diary will be the harvest post. And so it begins!!!

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. "HAS STARTED GROWING UP AND THROUGH OUT A LOAD OF NEW WHITE PISTILS" Flower Day 5-20 Days 50-63 7cm put on in the last few days of wk 9 roughly day 59-63 So, not bothering to measure my plant as I thought it had stopped at 68cm and didn't budge for a wk. Been I flushed her and restarted her on plagron/atami/terpinator she decided hey. Let's put on another 7cm and throw out a bunch of new white pistils. Never had this with an auto before. Very strange. I seen her develop the past 15 days. Very slowly. And well. She's not great bud wise. She's a runt that's extremely largy with a very hign leaf-calyex ratio, I've seen other FGA and some killer bud. The leafs are mainly singled fingered leafs that appeared late into her process. And I just can't reach the stems proper and would cause more harm than good. I was hoping she'd get super frosty and I'd be able to make some bubble hash or something. She is at to throw out a whole new load of white pistils. I decided hey, why not throw her under something a little more powerful. At this stage in an auto grow. I really wouldn't bother, as her bud making energy should be mainly spent and at this stage I'd be if anything reducing light % or rasing my light by 5-10cm for ripening. I'm curious to see what will happen. She is drinking a lot more. So I've upped her PK and added some Atami products and will wait to see what happens. I'm not mad about the way she is. I'm holding out hope this is a freak of nature (with autos you really can never make a grow plan). Even if she does put on some mass it'll still be sparce and far apart. And very high leaf ratio. And it's only been the last few days she started growing up again. I only noticed cause the top was closer to the light, and after looking closer. I see new pistils and bud forming lightly. Will be a nightmare to trim. I hope she puts on frost during ripening.... only more time will tell. I'd of been better off with the fem version. She'll easily go into 12 weeks. Diet/Defoliation Was stuffed switched to plagron. Jungle juice did take her a long way. And truly happy with the results. But, I want to try new things and added Plagron Green Sensation and a few others. And Atami Bloom boosters 390-400ppm feed needed to be PH'ed from 7.9 to 6.5 2x a week. Alga Bloom feeds with Green Sensation is 6-630ppm with Silic Rock & pure Zym, 2x a wk. Terpinator feeds are 350ppm 6.1ph and once a wk. (Ambient tap ppm/ph 105-110ppm 6.75-6.7ph). Defoliation was done at the end of wk 8. She was 68cm for 10 days. And took her height on day 60 she she was 71 now she's 75cm tall. Her leaf ratio is very high. And very poor bud sites. More like larf lights. But, I've got a glimmer of hope. I've introduced new bloom boosters and upped the ppfd to 1000ppfd from 850-900ppfd. Lights SF/P1000s were used up until yday where I then put it under my SP3000 at a 14-10 maybe if I'm bothered ill put it back under the 2x100watts if I feel like it. Most days though I reckon I'll leave them under the SP. Co2 Co2 was shockingly high at 1150 in my tents with the exhaust on. But with no high temp it's useless. And has little to no affect. You need 29-31c. It's a fine balance. Cause when your LVPD Leaf VPD hits 32c your stomata stops and the tiny pores close. I've learnt so much about co2 growing. Now I've the right equipment. And with the summer coming in. I should be able to meet the temp/co2 level with exhausts on and been able to use my Dehumidifier in a sealed grow room. When it gets to winter. I think I'll pack it in. I'm just not getting caught out last summer with the heat. I may aswel take full advantage of the high temps and not having a sealed tent and keep exhausts on, just keep RH down. It should be a lot easier. If I like co2, I'll get a controller for fans/temp/ lights & co2. My one now can only control co2ppm and light. I'll get pic readings later. Start of week 4, the blueberries had major bud growth during week 3 and they filled in nicely. There are a few signs of deficiency in the larger fan leaves, but overall I'm very happy with how the blueberries are growing. The Super Lemon Haze is showing signs of deficiencies, she's also hungrier than the blueberries, she got an extra 2 liters of nutes at 1/4 mute strength, the last two weeks. She may require full strength nutes in the extra feeding, to help with the deficiencies. Still, bud site development is coming along nicely on the SLH.

This chocolope took to the LST well. The buds have swelled to massive proportions, I am more than impressed with my first dedicated photo grow. I am definitely a dna genetics fan for good!

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured. 1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH, 2) Do a final tight trim 3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing. I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

These girls have been thriving and growing at a fast rate🐎😬 we started the girls on canna a&b on a feed - break - feed ratio using nutes with every feeding 😬 The girls got 5 nodes and I was going to wait till the 6th node appeared but decided to top just now, as you can see in the photo, this is where I cut making sure to leave some stalk in between the nodes just to make sure the new growth sites do not get damaged👌🏻 The reason we top is because by damaging the main stem, topping encourages the plant to spread energy growing many colas instead of just one ☝️... and you can never have enough colas😎 That’s all i can report this week guys! Tag 98: Die letzten 2 Wochen sind angebochen😀!! Ab sofort wird die Triple G nicht mehr gedüngt. Sie ist schon jetzt sehr klebrig. Und riecht intensiv. Das Klima ist ganz gut, nicht so warm gerade. Tag 102: Es scheint ein Kühler August zu werden, das ist ganz Wunderbar für meine Pflanzen 😍 jetzt in der Endphase.
