This week I started with some nutrients. Only 1/4 of the recommended dose. Tried some LST for the first time as well as some defoliation. I just hope I didn’t do too much.

Day 64 - The start of week 10 and not much longer before chop. Looking like 2 weeks tops but I’m gonna keep an eye on the trichs and pistils and when they say she’s ready, she will get the chop. Day 65 - Nothing much new today, she’s doing her thing and fattening up. Still thinking about 7-10 days till harvest so will run foxfarm sledgehammer through her next watering and nothing but water till the end. Day 66 - Gave the girl a gallon of water and some sledgehammer today to try and push the nutes out. I’m thinking she’ll probably be getting chopped next weekend or a few days after that. Just want her to fatten up a bit more and get more amber in the trichs. Day 67 - Nothing new today, just letting her suck all the nutes left in the soil and then suck her leaves dry. Hopefully it’s this weekend sometime but I’ll let her go until she’s ready. Day 68 - Checking trichs daily and she’s not require ready yet. A couple amber in there with a few still clear and the rest milky. Once she dries, I will give her another gallon of water and sledgehammer and let her go until she’s done. Day 69 - Coming to the end of week 10 and going to give her one more flush with the sledgehammer tomorrow and will just let her dry up until I decide to harvest. Really can be any day but will probably wait until the end of the weekend. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and gave her a final flush with the sledgehammer tonight. Will let her ride it out without anymore water until it’s time to harvest. Trichs are all milky with a few amber so she’s getting close.

Repotted in definitive pot. Gonna top those in the next days. Something I learned: water on the edge of the pot, as roots extends as much as possibile.

Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Correct weeknumbers are difficult in a perpetual grow lol🙃 Little update with all the strains. Runtz XL(more xxxx small lol) was drowned as can be seen, no hole in that pot>drilled them today. As small as she is she is the second plant that entered flowering stage. Red Gorilla girl XL was in my vertical garden system, didnt respond well its leaves started to wilt, the pot got replaced somewhere a little more temperate. The lsd-25 seems to be okay in the vertical wall. The Purple punch is well into flower ready to develop nugs in next 2 weeks Happy growing peeps

📆 Week 13, 4-10 January 2024 4 January - Turned light time back 2hrs to a schedule of 14/10, and lowered light power to 50%. This will facilitate ripening by mimicking an autumn environment. 7 January - Flushed system, filled with RO water and 10ml p/gal HG FloraKleen, PH 6.2. 10 January - Turned lights off. 📑 This was the final week of flowering. It will be followed now by 3 days in darkness, giving a total of 7 days in plain RO water. This provides the proper nutrient flush and a small cannibinoid/terpene boost just prior to harvest. Which will be 13 January. She will then be followed by a 7-14 day curing process, where she’ll hang for 5-7 days until the chlorophyll has dried in the leaves, then trimmed, weighed, put into mason quart jars and burped until a RH of 62% is reached/maintained. While in this state the flower will reach its peak potency/flavor in about 30-40 days, and can last for 6-12 months. An overall interesting grow. Especially if you like the color purple. She grew rather rapidly for about 6 weeks as expected from an autoflower, then slowed down and flowered simultaniously. Buds are on the smaller side but tight. There certainly was no problem in resin development as she is quite frosty, sticky and smelly. The trichomes have purple and clear stems with milky heads, about 5-10% amber and 10%(+) clear. All white pistils have turned orange or brown. Genetics are very stable with no signs of foxtailing or hermaphroditism. The only problem I’ve had was with nutrient sensitivity in flower phase - specifically week 8. It will depend on the end product quality as to whether I will grow this strain again or not. My final update will run a few days later than usual, but will include the Harvest and Smoq review information. Runtz is a very hardy plant, has a great structure that folds well. The buds are medium sized and insanely hard, full of resin. Even the bottom buds are hard and nice when you let the light through. I definitely recommend this strain

I did a last defoliation on the NL and left the WA flowering! I kept the nutrient as RQS recommends and for now I didn’t not have any problems beside some few yellow marks on some leaves but nothing really noticeable

Day 40: I returned from a weekend, finding now (luckily) much slower height but an impressive bud growth. Nothing special to report except for I lowered lady #2’s lights a bit. She is now some visible cms behind her sister (who has 83 cm), and maybe that helps to compensate her (still very nice) growth. Gave them another round of fertilised water, still with some HPE, during day 40. I could see in timelapse video they immediately gained fuller leaf positions and some progress. But sadly, as it’s quite warm here, main blower kicked in often, ruining the video to be much too shaky to show. Day 42: Nothing special again. Slow height gain (84 cm), steady bud growth. Day 43: I noticed the lowest leaves getting a bit pale. While this is perfectly ok on one hand – not much light to collect there anyway –, I think I will increase fertiliser portion a bit next time they are thirsty. At the end 85 cm in tallest main bud. Day 44 concludes this week. Not much to report except for what was already said. Slow but steady growth, a tiny bit of yellowing on the very lowest leaves and thirst about 1 l/day. This week was very hot, but the last day brought some cooling. Would be nice to have a timelapse video again that does not look like camera Raspi had Parkinson’s (when main blower is active).

Continuing to use nutrients from 9 days ago. Mostly added back water to the tank to reduce the EC, as it was too high in my opinion. Going to try and milk another week out of the nutrients in the tank at the moment, as there are no obvious signs of deficiencies to note. As you can see, I have opted not to defoliate at all for this grow. So far I have only cut off two leaves just so I can get to my filler cap easily. I am doing a little supercropping here and there to level up the canopy. In just over a week they have grown from 51 cm to 93 cm. So a good 80% increase in height. An average of 2 inches of growth per day. If they grow similarly to my last crop, they should have just under 2 weeks stretching left to do. Happy new year!

Smooth trim and harvest, very time-consuming. I think we spent over 8 days working on the autos. Now I can rest until early September.
