🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Will keep a mother plant. Beautiful plant, probably needed more food. But it produced a good night medicine, very relaxing melt into your couch and grow roots out your as cause you won't be going anywhere soon.😑 PS. Smoke report was for first plant harvested the smaller one. And she's not even cured yet, can't Wait to see how second plant harvested bigger one turns out I let her go 60% amber 30% cloudy and 10% still clear trichomes. Pros, she will let you relax, good night med. Still curing plant 2 but feeling stoked Earlier cut was less amber still good sleeping. Die extrem hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, verursacht durch die vielen Regen dieser Woche hat auch bei ihr Spuren hinterlassen. Ich musste eine daumennagelgroße Stelle aufgrund Budrot säubern. Der Ventilator lief zwar die ganze Zeit im Folienzelt, aber oszillierend, ich habe auf Dauergebläse direkt auf den Haupttrieb gestellt (Etwas ernten möchte ich schon noch.). Die Luftfeuchtigkeit war teilweise nachts bei 91%, der Ventilator kann es auf 74-81% herunterdrücken. Es sollen zwei regenreiche Tage kommen, danach solle wieder wärmer werden und damit höhere Temperaturen und auch hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Ansonsten ist sie auf dem Höhepunkt der Blüte, nur die kleinen unteren Buds sind noch im Wachstum. Der Duft ist stark und sehr süßlich geworden, die Buds werden harzig. Auch um Schimmelbildung zu minimieren habe ich die Wasserversorgung sehr eingeschränkt, sie wird von nun an auch ohne Dünger für die letzten zwei Wochen auskommen. Wenn sie es bis zur Ernte in ca. zwei Wochen schafft, ist noch eine gute Ernte für Outdoor zu erwarten. Aber bis dahin kann viel passieren. Wünscht mir viel Glück, ich kann es diesen Sommer gebrauchen. --- The extremely high humidity caused by the heavy rainfall this week has also left its mark on her. I had to clean a thumbnail-sized area due to bud rot. The fan was running continuously in the foil tent, but oscillating, so I set it to continuous operation directly on the main shoot (I would still like to harvest something). The humidity was sometimes 91% at night, but the fan can reduce it to 74-81%. Two rainy days are forecast, followed by warmer weather with higher temperatures and high humidity. Otherwise, it is at the peak of flowering, with only the small lower buds still growing. The scent has become strong and very sweet, and the buds are becoming resinous. Autos are doing alright this week. Very low RH has kept them from being their best selves. No worries, early season growing suck, and this years faults will be next years improvements. Next year will move from an electric heater to an oil filled radiant so that I dont suck so much moisture out of the air First week of flower, I expect them all to stretch this week

Water ph 6.3-6.8 only flushing

What do you think? What is the problem of the plant? Did it suffer? Or is near to the end?

Day 64 (18/05/18) - Impressed with the size of these girls, especially the StarDawg but not really impressed with the stated time from the seed breeder as it was advertised as 8-9 week strains and I can see them easily going another 2 weeks maybe 3 unless they change overnight. One of the girls is over 3ft tall which I can understand she will need more time to fill out etc etc.. I'm a photoperiod grower but thought I'd try out a few autos which in all honesty has been fun just though't they would be a bit quicker. A side from me moaning, they all look really good and i'm certain I'll get some really nice healthy flowers. First auto grow but definitely not new to growing. Always been against autos but they are not that bad, my final decision will come from the finish.. Yield, smoke quality and buds. But all in all, so far so good. Well done from fastbuds

End of day 35 flower Had an issue with cal/mag deficiency with the White Widow so I had to flush her and increase cal/mag to 5ml/gal. So she should be back on track to produce fatter buds. Royal Gorilla isn't fattening up so hopefully she will this coming week. Also gave her a good flush with some florakleen. Defloiated so the buds on the bottom can get more light. OMG OMG OMG finding hard to put on words all i am felling with this one, she was a delight to grow and without trying yet her medicine she wen strait to my top 3, i mean super strong Mama, strong to everything pests you name it, amazing structure her terpene profile is taking me back to the 90s with her almost like gasoline smell mixed with limes and pines OMG cant wait to try out this one much but much respect to DutchPassion on this creation of them she is so so so , like glue that you cant touch without getting it everywhere <3 <3 haded the last 3 weeks and harvest time-lapse i fell like this one could have gone more than the 71 days in flower that she did, but there is no time for that in this run but i will run her again thats for sure and a must for me. Hello growers I’m back with sweet seeds genetics I must say a massive shout out to @sweetseeds for sending me these seeds it’s very much appreciated iv never tried sweet seeds before and the fact they send me seeds to try for free with free p&p is banging 2 big thumbs up from me👍🏻👍🏻 Now it’s day 7 and the girls are looking good just keeping them moist with tap water I will continue to do so for the next week after that I’ll hit em with some juice until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️
