Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

March14th Smooth sailing here. Plants are getting closer to Harvest Buds are stacking, Pistils get orange, Leaves are fading They smell wonderful Iam so happy with those mini-grows. Girls are sitting in around 10g of Soil Watering // Feeding daily in diving into the Feedingsolution, that has an Ec of 1200

12/3/23 - Day 27 - Hello All! Today I was able to catch the water change as it all happened. I have a video that I uploaded above. Here we are going into week 5. Shes growing fast and her branches are close together. Not much going on other than letting this LEAF box do its thing. I'll keep it updated with pictures as we go along. I still have leftover nutrients from the last grow. The A-nute is getting close to being gone. So I replaced it with the A-Nutes that I had purchased to start this grow. Replacing them is super easy. Another water change day in the books! 12/5/23 - Day 29 - I did some cleaning up on the branches. I removed a lot of the fan leaves. I do plan on cleaning it up a little more but I wanted to give her a moment to recover. However, I am starting to think that it does not matter. So far with both of the grows I have done in this LEAF box. When I trim the plant and I think it's going to cause an slow down, I'm wrong. So far I have yet to see a bad result from trimming her. It's almost like the plant likes it better immediately and starts to stretch out and get bigger. 12/7/23 - Day 31 - I noticed there are pistles already forming. I spoke with someone about how quickly that was and they said that I should wait to flip them to flower. Autos are kind of known to start flower when they are stressed. I forsure stressed her out when I just put a huge trim on her. Ill give it another few days to see if the pistles continues to pop up or slow down.

Wow, what an amazing strain to grow and harvest! She grew so well and never caught PM from her roommates the entire grow! Her buds were fucking thick and fat, as well as tall. Smells wonderful and HIGHLY RECOMMEND growing this strain...you will be greatly rewarded! She grows easy, trains easy for LST/HST, and produces dense thick buds. More to follow after the cure....stay tuned!

I'm in the process of moving these in to the tent under the Mars hydro to 1000 in order to get ready flower I have the same strain in flower as well thats my only hold up for the transition I need

Bonjour les amis. Cette semaine les fleurs ont pris du volume et surtout l'odeur est est nettement plus forte. Dès que j'ouvre mon placard une odeur terrible se répand. Ma femme est terrifiée. C'est la dernière semaine théorique mais il faut encore quelques jours, je pense récolter la semaine prochaine. Les 2 grandes plantes ont une forme et un volume normal, je vais les libérer de leurs liens très rapidement. La petite semble encore plus chargée en résine. Je n’arrose que à l'eau pH ~6.8. Led 80%. HST"ed some of her.17th/may 7th/June Power Buds really helped build lots of tight stigmata. Sorry about missing wk 7 and half of 8. Colas are getting big loving the light. Developing lovely fade around the leafs the past 2 weeks. Drinks like a fish. 2L a day easy on her last 10-14 days. Doing really well. 7th/June foxtailing is happening as you can see. She's very sticky and is still pushing. There's nothing I can do about the heat. Nothing. All I can do is lower the light intensity that now. Its been set at 90%.⁰ Am dealing with crazy temps like 35c on ave can go up to 39c. Am finding it hard to keep the stomata vents going. Seedlings are pushing through. I do see signs of stress. Possible foxtailing coming. Not much I can do with the temp. Stomatas are been kept open with fan power. I've 4 running nonstop. 1 full Osc one and 3 others that blow parts of the plant but its more designed to keep the co2 in the middle of the tent. It's taken me 2 weeks to find thy optimal way to manipulate co2 movement. If you don't have the fans right. You are just wasting money. I've seen s 50-30% increase in rate of just seedling growth that I prove. From 55ish strains that 95% ran from 9-10 Days the rare long one. But, I'm seen seedlings turn into vegging plants in an average of 6 days. Some as early as 4.5-7.5 days. Most are 6. And then they're flying through veg too. HST & defoliation HST was done early pre flower the nodes actually split and fell over. Mended itself up. Tbh, there is no real benefit to HST'in autos. I've done it many times now. The nodes that were HST"ed didn't vary much if at all. The whole plants buds are hard. Foxtailing like a bitch. But comes with the environment growing indoors in summer with co2 with 35c temp on average, power buds was used as soon as I seen stigmata and until pre fower ended. SE5000 light used for co2 growing. Doing a great job. Helps to have a great sensor. This spectrum is great. Even with high temps that should have vents closed if using say 1 spectrum but, this light is able to keep the plants eating with high temps. Has gave all my plants great fade. Next wk. I'll higher the light and lower it and start focusing on the crop this light was issued for. But, its done a great job at finishing my crop. Thanks to my sponsor from Zamneisa. Recordar que estan puestas desde que germinaron a 12 horas, y la verdad que es paraba algo menos no se puede apreciar muy bien lo que hay por que tengo una mierda de camara y encima esta medio rota jaja pero para que veais lo buenas que son las geneticas de fastbuds y los liquidos de cannabom

Last week really started to PACK on the buds. Really taking off. Just measured the buds to see the week growth. They are all right at 1 1/2" ACROSS. Not vertically. So lets see what the week ends up being. Any guesses? Put em in comments. Ok that's it. No more nutes. She got her last feeding today. Tomorrow I turn her to ph water only and 12/12 hours down from 24 hrs light. 10 days to flush then harvest next Saturday. So it looks as if I may be able to combine my 10 days of flush and my 3 days of darkness by just switching from 24/7 light to a 12/12 schedule. She reacted and pushed out more trichomes in only one night. Interesting Ok so end of week 8 (I know it says 7 but its 8. The germination week counts as week one.) Nothing but 12/12 and a flushing. Will take her next week. Thinking to give her the full 7 days and chop her Saturday. Oh btw the buds are 2 1/4" across now. 3/4 of an inch in a week!

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

• I've added 3 X 4mL of MGB. My babe starts her day 21 with 495 PPM solution on. PH reads as 5.6 ( August 23 ) • I've added 16 mL Voodoo Juice. Total concentration is 1.5 mL/L (August 23) • I've added 3 X 10 mL of MGB. She will start the day with 680 PPM (August 24) pH reads as 5.5 • I've added 3 X 3 mL of MGB. She will start the day with 710 PPM (August 30) pH reads as 5.5 I've topped off 2 liters so far. and adjusted the pH twice.
