First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Defoliated some of the bigger fan leaves, I know it may be risky technique but since she has grown into the tent, space is tight and in order to maximise flower sites, I decided to remove some foliage to get better coverage. Flowering is taking off and have decided to increase the dosage of the nutrients to see if she can handle the feeding, she has grown quickly in the last couple of days and want to see if I can push her to the maximum. Healthy and happy plants, no more issues with spidermites (Thank goodness!), no more needing to treat a flowering plant (if I had to, I would drench the plant in a mixture of H202, liquid dishwashing detergent and water to ensure that buds are not covered with nasty chemicals). Clones have been taken and in this pic, can be seen that it has rooted, clones were taken off during defoliation session during 2nd week of flower.

Hey folks 2 Nov New week. Last week flew right?. Anyhow weve hada mix of weather this past week. Some really hot 31C temps to milder very rain and cloudy days. The plants are loving it however. Iv decided for the time being to stop using chemical nutes and keep the grow organic, which is why I switched to a handful of bonemeal on the surface of each plant. Will see how they respond. Plant 1 doing really great! Really impressed by this plant. Its also very pretty with pink purple buds and has not once showed any signs of sickness. It just keeps low and bushy and keeps shooting up those buds. They top buds are gradually fattening up nicely as the leaves of the plant become dark green. Plant 2 confuses me a bit. Its in flower alright but the rate of bud produ tion is super slow, and pistil count at 1 time is also low??? Reveging maybe?? Looks very healyhy however Plant 3 almost ready for harvest. Been flushing for a week now, waiting of the final pistils stzge and ambering of trichs before chopping Iv also included some pictures of my growth patch with smaller plants surrounding. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 7/25 just lightly watered. We are having a heat wave this weekend so attempting to stay ontop of it but at the same time I don't want to drench/ drown the roots because of trying to water to keep cool 7/26 its hot hot hot today! It's 100 degrees but the real feel says 113 😥🔥🔥 7/28. Looking good 7/30 did a little supercropping to make the tops even on the plant with the scrog net/cage

This week was kinda hard for the plant I found a few bugs eating the leaves. I put a net over them let’s see if that keeps them away. Over all I love how the plant is showing so much life. Any feed back will be appreciated thanks

Week 4 of Flower coming to an end. Budding up real nice and beginning to develop a strong and potent odor! Always happy to open the tent to look at her, being greeted by that developing STENCH 😋😍 Watering stays every 3 Days 6L ~6PH, with 5ml/L Terra Bloom and 1ml/L Green Sensation. Added another dose of mycorhizzae last time i watered, just sprinkled some generously onto the soil before watering. 👽 Cant wait to see what she has got in store for me over her last couple of weeks of flowering! Shes shaping up to become a real beautiful stunner 😌

Absolutely stunning in all aspects at this stage, smells of diesel and citrus.

She was looking slightly rough from whatever started to eat those few leaves but by the end of the week you can hardly tell she was even affected. It was very rainy and cloudy most of the week so I only had to water once with my cal mag/kelp solution, and she got a good amount of rain which seemed to help her growth rate despite the cloudiness. This week it going to be very sunny so should be a big week for growth.

This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.
