Day 14 - 3 out of 5 are growing a little slow/weird, all 5 seem to be growing kinda slow compared to my first run of autos but hopefully everything does good🤞🏼 Happy growing friends🌱✌️🏼 Day 17 - Still have 2 extremely weird looking ones, really hoping they bounce back🙏🏼🤞🏼 Day 18 - 3 out of 5 still going strong, the other 2 havnt changed much!

Don't have many things to say, flowering going ok and plant started to smell a little. The color is amazing!

After a few days the LST has an effect. They grow nice and bushy. Still trying to get some drain in these massive 12l pots. At the moment I’m watering every 3 days with 3,5l of nutrient solution. Still no drain. I also removed some leaves at the bottom and the big ones, so light can break through better. We’re working on it 🧙‍♂️✨ Edit: I flushed them today with 5 liters of pH neutral water and we finally had drain 💦 I also lollipoped and defoliated them so the Girl Scouts get a better light intake ☀️🌱✨ let’s see how they’ll do. I’ll change the light to 12/12 next Tuesday, when we start week 7. Happy flowering

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

girls are looking great i been following the advanced nutrients auto flower feeding chart im using 1/4 of what they say.This is the start of week 5 may 1st.I topped 2double grapes left the other 3 alone just lst opening her up to get more light the smell is great the full tent photo is bottom left gelato auto fast buds behind that straw nuggets mephisto and the 3 others are double grape mephisto also defoliated every plant

Hi everyone, this week went pretty smoothly. She is growing well and she actually took 15 cm during this week. I'm pretty happy with that and I guess it's gonna be the same the coming week. I'm just adjusting the distance between the lamp and the canopy and that's pretty much it. I'm questioning if I shouldn't have taken the little branches from the middle out as they are now putting some lower bud sites on the main branches in the shadow. That's how it is now so I'll go along with it. Today I removed some lower leaves on the branches that are in the middle. They are pretty thin so it won't produce anything anyway. The coming week will pretty much be the same as this one I guess. I'm looking forward to doing the massive defoliation from the schwazzing technique next week. That'll be the first time I do it, hopefully that won't be a mistake! As usual, let me know in the comments if you have any advice or remarks. Take care everyone and see you next week!

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

So heute war es die erste lange Nacht dunkel im Zelt. Werde jetzt die zwei bis Sonntag in Ruhe lassen und dann gemütlich das Netz einspannen. Hoffe ich kann die zwei noch gut trainieren unter dem Netz. 19.4 heute das netzt ins Zelt gehangen und mal etwas erlaubt. Würde gern die vorderen Tribe noch etwas höher wachsen lassen, bin aber bis jetzt ganz zufrieden mit dem Grow
