Back with another update on the viewer selected multi strain SOG. If you're just joining us, we have these photo-dependant ladies vegging in our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN tent. I have been doing a lot of heavy defoliation and pruning the past week. I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM.
I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great.

- Added a BOTANICARE 48" x 48" low-tide flood tray on top of six 4" tall cinder-blocks with a low-profile motorcycle oil-pan for the water to drain into beneath the flood tray.
- I transplanted eleven cultivars into black 12" tall Active Aqua brand 12" x 12" square pots and inserted 3' fiberglass garden stakes into the center of the rootball near the main stem of each plant. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots.
- I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate.
- I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule.

She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 12 gallons of solution for all the plants I have in flower. 1 gallon of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar.

The solution starts with 12 gal tap H2O through two kdf filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. Nutrients and additives are added to the reservoir in the order listed below and thoroughly mixed uding a plastic stir spoon. The reservoir is oxygenated by four 4 inch air stones.

After some adjustments needed due to the heat of the lamp, I was able to stabilize my tent temperature to under 26c.
I had to move the light to 2 ft away dimmer at 80% as the tips of new leaves shooting up fast and showing light burns. Mysoil PH climbed to 7.5 so I adjusted ph using big bud by advanced nutrients which drops my solution to 6. This will work for the time being. I've opened up the tent to allow air to flow more freely from the room as the outside air being pulled in had less than 400ppm after some careful measurements. This lead to drops down to 330ppm. I have since closed the vent. Opening up the tent increased co2 levels by 2-3 times. I overkilled fan department added a 16 inch oscillating fan. In the morning it has a strong smell before lights on.

Not watering plants to runoff will result in higher substrate Ec(Generative cue and also could burn plants)

Hello fellow growers,
This will be last week of feeding for these plants, I've been checking theirs trichomes for some days and and I will start a 2 week-long flush to make that good white ash when I'll smoke it 😋
I wish I could take some good photos of trichomes to show you here, but my mini microscope doesn't attach to my phone's camera unfortunately.
Except for some problems due to my old ph meter this run went pretty smooth so far, and I'm pretty happy with it.
I can't wait to see how it will taste like, because the sweet smell is insanely good :)

Day 15 transplanted to a 10 gal container and 3×3 tent. Day 30 transitioning to flower. She's measuring 24 inches across definitely bushy and stout. Plan on scrogging through the upcoming weeks.

Noticed a small issue that looks like magnesium deficiency so use full dose of Sensi cal at 1ml/L. Some small interveinal yellowing starting around the leaf margins on a couple of fan leaves below the tops. Cal Mag fed via tank and foliar feed. The issue I have found could also be down to the small dose of pk13/14 added to the nutrient tank slightly early (Early last week) causing a lockout.
Used the pk booster again this week but still added less than the recommended dose to avoid any issues.
Hoping the buds start to fatten this week 😀
Using hydro is causing my humidity to stay up so I will need to find a way of lowering it this week.
Ppfd 700-1000. Ppm 1200. PH 6.0.

Week 29 The Final Countdown
Garden Status & Aromatics
We have officially crossed into Day 203(!) of the life cycle since sprouting back on March 13th, 2026. Out on the Oasis Project, the atmosphere has completely shifted. The scent profile rolling off the Durban Poison quartet has kicked up in a massive way—a rich, complex wave of sweet anise, pine, and earthy spice that greets anyone stepping out onto the deck.
I’m starting to see a lot of fantastic transference throughout the plants, with uniform vigor and deep resin production echoing across the entire canopy. The cold autumn air swings on the high plains are doing wonders for color expression and trichome density as these classic landrace genetics finish up their outdoor run.
Trichome Development & The First Chop
Taking a close loupe look at DP4, the trichome production has officially transitioned from a sea of milky white to a gorgeous spread of somewhat amber heads, signaling her absolute peak ripeness.
Because she’s ready to cross the finish line, DP4 will be harvested tomorrow morning, October 2nd! She’s stacked incredible weight, boasting heavy resin coating on every sugar leaf and calyx, and she will head straight into her designated cardboard drying box tomorrow morning to begin the slow dry.
Staggered Harvest Schedule
With DP4 leading the charge, the remaining three plants—DP1, DP5, and DP6—will be handled via a staggered timeline.
(Note: With DP4 coming down first, the sequential lineup will see the next members of the quartet rolling off the deck roughly once a week over the coming weeks until all four have been successfully brought down.)
It’s going to be a busy stretch managing the individual drying chambers and trim sessions, but seeing these frost-laden colas finish out strong after more than 200 days makes every minute of the journey worth it. Stay tuned as we bring them home one by one! 🌿✂️

🇩🇪 Cherry Limeade - Wochenkommentar
Die Cherry Limeade hat sich in ihrer ersten Woche nach der Umstellung auf 12/12 hervorragend entwickelt 🌱. Sie hat offenbar genau auf diese Bedingungen gewartet und ist förmlich explodiert 🚀. Mittlerweile füllt sie schon einen großen Teil meines 60er Zeltes aus und entwickelt eine richtig schöne, gleichmäßige Struktur 💚.
Auch diese Woche war ich beruflich wieder vier Tage unterwegs. Das Blumat-System hat während meiner Abwesenheit die Bodenfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 50 mbar stabil gehalten 💧. Der Pflanze scheinen diese Bedingungen ausgesprochen gut zu gefallen, denn trotz meiner Abwesenheit hat sie ordentlich an Größe und Masse zugelegt 🌿.
Nächste Woche bin ich wieder häufiger zu Hause und werde deshalb täglich die Triebe unter das SCROG-Netz flechten 🕸️. Im Moment ist die Pflanze durch das Training auf etwa 32 cm Höhe heruntergebunden. Der Stretch läuft bisher genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe, und ich vermute, dass er nächste Woche erst richtig loslegen wird 📈.
Ich bin aktuell wirklich sehr zufrieden mit der Entwicklung. Die Pflanze sieht rundum gesund aus und ich kann keinerlei Mängel erkennen 💚. Auch die Reaktion auf die Umstellung auf 12/12 gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
Seit heute habe ich den Luftbefeuchter aus dem Raum genommen und den VPD auf 1,1 kPa angehoben 💨. Gleichzeitig versuche ich jetzt, das Blumat-System langsam auf etwa 120 mbar einzustellen. Vor meiner Abwesenheit wollte ich allerdings bewusst nichts mehr am System verändern – ich wollte nicht kurz vor einer viertägigen Dienstreise an einem perfekt funktionierenden Setup herumschrauben 😅.
Gestern habe ich außerdem den Flower Komposttee von Almicanna angesetzt 🌸. Nach 24 Stunden Brauzeit habe ich noch etwas Melasse hinzugegeben und lasse ihn jetzt weitere 24 Stunden brauen 🫧. Morgen bekommt die Cherry Limeade dann ihre erste Portion Flower-Komposttee in dieser Phase 🌱.
Insgesamt könnte ich mit dem Start in die Blüte kaum zufriedener sein. Jetzt heißt es weiter flechten, den Stretch kontrollieren und die Pflanze ihr enormes Wachstumspotenzial ausspielen lassen 🚀.

🇬🇧 GrowDiaries – Weekly Update
The Cherry Limeade has developed exceptionally well during her first week after switching to 12/12 🌱. She seems to have been waiting for exactly these conditions and has absolutely exploded in growth 🚀. She is already filling a large part of my 60 cm tent and is developing a really nice, even structure 💚.
Once again, I was away on a four-day business trip this week. During my absence, the Blumat system kept the soil moisture stable at around 50 mbar 💧. The plant obviously likes these conditions very much, because despite me being away, she put on a lot of growth and mass 🌿.
Next week I’ll be home much more often, so I’ll be able to tuck the shoots under the SCROG net every day 🕸️. At the moment, I have trained the plant down to around 32 cm in height. The stretch is progressing exactly as I hoped, and I suspect that it will really start taking off next week 📈.
I’m extremely happy with the development so far. The plant looks completely healthy and I can’t see any signs of deficiencies whatsoever 💚. Her response to the switch to 12/12 has been excellent.
As of today, I’ve removed the humidifier from the room and increased the VPD to 1.1 kPa 💨. At the same time, I’m now trying to gradually dial the Blumat system in to around 120 mbar. However, I deliberately didn’t change anything before last week’s trip—I didn’t want to mess with a perfectly functioning setup right before being away for four days 😅.
Yesterday I also started an Almicanna Flower Compost Tea 🌸. After 24 hours of brewing, I added some molasses and am now letting it brew for another 24 hours 🫧. The Cherry Limeade will get her first serving of Flower Compost Tea for this phase tomorrow 🌱.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the start of flowering. Now it’s all about keeping up with the daily tucking, managing the stretch, and letting this plant make the most of her incredible growth potential 🚀.

Que pasa familia, finalizamos segunda semana de floración, no veas que color y que vigor, están muy sanas, se agradece la luz del LED.
Controlamos ph 6,5 temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos.
Añadimos bud candy para ir aportando a las flores los nutrientes necesarios para una mejor formación y sabor.
Por lo demás nada nuevo, todo va bien, entre riego y riego son 72h lo que pasan , en vez de 48h como pasa con el sodio. También se agradece en ese aspecto.

Chopped her two days into week 14.
What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim.
What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man.
Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄
✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day.
Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her.
I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕
I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it!
Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞

I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2.
Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted.
I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant.
I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too.
This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up.
Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know!
I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed.
Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;-
♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix
♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow
♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom
♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max
♡ 2ml Cal-Mag
♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish.
I water with this every 3 days.
I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom.
I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too.
It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run.
I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments.
Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore.
I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄
I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues.
Cleaning the tent after watering every time isn't my idea of efficiency 😅
