Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

31.01. F29 Overall, everything is still running according to plan, although powdery mildew is starting to become more noticeable again. Control measures remain consistent and ongoing. Compared to the previous Super Buff Cherry run, the situation is much better under control, mainly because countermeasures are being applied earlier and more actively this time. The goal is to get the mildew issue fully resolved in the coming weeks. Aside from that, the Blueberry Skunks are performing exceptionally well. The automatic irrigation system clearly contributes to stable, low-stress growth, and the Biotabs nutrient system continues to impress. The difference compared to earlier runs is very noticeable, especially considering how little manual input is required. All in all, this is a solid run, and despite the mildew challenge, it already creates a lot of anticipation for the harvest.

Pablo Escobar has made good progress in the last week. She has reached the solution for 1. She also acquired enough strength to stand up from stretching too much upon sprouting. She has started to me some growth process, and is looking good. Impressive week! They love the higher amount of nuts, they probably tripled in size this week. They shoot branches quite asymmetrical, and dozens of them! Very fast-growing strain! They both showed a small sign of a CalMag deficiency, which stopped after I increased the amounts of both Cal and Mag and I also kept giving them extra CalMag foliar. They got topped the second time this week.

Frosty Frosty Frosty! To be a bunch of bag seeds I am beyond happy so far! Have not had very many problems, they have been great with LST and defoliation!

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. Hello and thank you for stopping by, it is now day 28 in 2x4 closet and things are going very smoothly I'm watering still with a pH of 6.5 when dry. I'm having minor issues with Gnat larvae in my coco and I am going to solve the issue by watering with neem oil for the next couple weeks. I will also be trying out some hydrogen peroxide in my water at a 4:1 ratio if the neem oil fails to control the larvae. My first top dress will be in about 7 days and I am going to be doing some low stress training this week stay tuned ☺️

Another week. Just been giving water and spraying BT roughly once a week as weather allows. Haven't seen any sign of caterpillars but I have seen months landing on the leaves and that's enough reason to get ahead of it.

Hi Growmies, She has been taking very well to the plant success Orca that I have been feeding her for the last 7 days. Root development just exploded. Since these results are quite impressive I will definitely include such a product in my feeding plans. She doesn’t really want to stretch properly, even with an elevated and dimmed light. So I decided to flip her yesterday and am expecting at least 15-20 cm stretch. The Rezin I started feeding has already shown it’s effect as well, with small trichomes starting to appear on the fan leaves already, long before pre-flower has even started.
