I'm very happy about how the buds have developed in this 2nd week of flower! The girls stretched a lot this week, about 15cm. The bud sites are a bit too close to each other, but I can't do much about it now, I will have to put up to the extra work when harvesting. They get fed 6 times a day and they drink a looot, about 2,8l per day 😮 I'm doing a flush today, the first one, to get the roots rinsed out of any accumulated salts.

Getting closer! Weather here is finally starting to turn warm including and after this weekend. That means I’ll be taking Cream Caramel, Bubba’s Gift #1 & #2 and Black D.O.G. outside to be transplanted in 45 gallon pots. Bit of a crazy week after taking my loupe to my soil and spotting a LOT of bulb mites in my soil. Nematodes surprised me with their presence too. Explains the issues I have been having with Jack Herer in my other tent. Thankfully despite them both existing in this tent the plants are doing quite well. Just a little LST and defoliation this week. They’re doing well and I just want to leave them be until they’re outside or remain in the tent with more space. I can’t wait to tie down Bubba’s Gift #3, Chemdawg’91, The New and Black D.OG. Plan is to give them about a week more and then flip them to 12hrs. Still just watering with dechlorinated water. Top dressed with 4-4-4, worm castings and insect Frass. Before that a Soil Drench one day with Neem oil and Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap mixed into Mosquito Dunk water for pest control. My mycorrhizae shipment won’t be arriving until May 20th so even if the plants go up this weekend I will leave them in their existing pots until I return next weekend.

🌿 Grow Update: Day 2, Week 8 of Flower 🌸 Hey fellow growers, We’ve hit Day 2 of Week 8 in the flower stage, and wow, she’s smelling delicious! The buds have definitely grown since the last update, but nothing too dramatic. Still, her appearance, aroma, and stickiness are on point. Not too shabby for my first run! There’s a fair amount of larf below that I’ll be tossing, but the top buds? Holy smokes, they’re looking fantastic. I'm aiming for at least 3 ounces, and if I hit that or more, I'll be over the moon! 5/31 Week 10 and the state of the grow is winding up I know Baba looks like hell, her buds are in danger of breaking some of the branches so I have everything kind of falling in on itself supported by bamboo. Harvest Sally and Athena yesterday leaving only Jane Baba and Cleo (my wife's) in the tent so turning down the lights a bit they are getting plenty Water only not much to do till harvest 6/3 Just nothing going on, giving them water Baba seems done now little further hair growth or bulking, harvest in a day or so, real busy with other projects so no promises 6/4 Yield from Sally and Athena wet - 650 grams dry - 151 grams about 5 oz, so with Baba still left to harvest looks like we good for an holiday season grow of this strain next winter. Cannot believe how thick the trics are on these two and the one left is even more frosty. Baba harvest tomorrow not sure about the twin 6/5 Harvest day for Baba only Jane remains Baba wet - 533 grams Running totals so far : Wet - 1188 grams Dry - 151 grams (expect to double this) Looks like we almost matched our numbers on the first two plants as expected. Prob a good 10 ounces on the grow not great but a good grow none the less with 8 months of medicine so this strain is on the schedule for November. 15/08/24 (FD 22): Started to give my girls some more bio bloom to boost Phosphate & flower development, for now they seem to handle the extra nutes with no problem what so ever! Also the stretch seems to be done and they reached 1m in height. I wonder how tall they would have gotten if I wouldn't have topped them in week 3? There is one really weird mutation in the big girls which results in a flat stem with a bend and stunted top...I am really curious to see flower development on this one! I hope they will reach their maturity in 6 weeks so I can harvest before October when it will get humid & rainy! Stay tuned

Finally the end of the sixth week. I had very bright, slightly yellow leaves because i had given too much light and too little fertilizer. The lamp was then turned down to 80W and raised to 50cm height, so that the plant could calm down again. I also corrected the amount of fertilizer. Now she looks happier again 😇 Thanks also to @Seedler, I "tucked" the leaves under the buds and it worked very well. 🌱🌱🌱 Grow Hard. Go Pro.

I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and will keep an eye out to try and determine what/who the culprit is. 5/7- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/9- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the Wedding Cheesecake FF and I am continuing with the Neem oil preventative along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of cheesecake! Woche 11 Herrliches strömt aus dem Zelt. Das Blümchen duftet extrem süß fruchtig und ist mit glitzernden Trichomen überzogen. Der ein oder andere Bereich der Buds scheint auch ein bisschen rot zu schimmern. Mal sehen was noch geht.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Melon de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

Hello Growmies, Exciting times in the garden as we wrap up the first week of flowering! Let me share the latest developments with our flourishing beauty. She's stretched impressively in this initial flowering phase. I've decided not to continue with the ScrOG method any further, as I'm eager to see the kind of colas she will naturally produce. It's always fascinating to observe how each plant uniquely expresses its growth. A light defoliation was done this week, and depending on her growth in the next few days, another round might be in order. Her sturdiness is quite remarkable, hinting at the potential for some hefty buds – a thought that certainly brings a smile to my face! She received one watering session this week, with 3 liters of nutrient solution. I'm keeping a close eye on her response to ensure optimal growth. Overall, I'm really pleased with how she's developing. There's something deeply rewarding about watching a plant thrive under your care. Beginning of week 11 Flushing her this week just pure tap water again to help get rid of the last of the remaining nutrients and salt build up that may be present. Checked the trichomes and they are very nearly ready, mostly cloudy with a few bits of amber here and there. Colas are quite dense and the biggest is at 16cm circumference. The leaves are literally falling off daily. A sure sign she’s maturing. Throughout this grow I been worried about high ppm run offs due to nutrient lock out, heat stress and this lady hulkberry has still managed to produced lovely looking buds. This strain I want to grow in my green house in the summer I reckon she’ll do great in there. I will definitely get this strain again. Nice one RQS. I can’t wait to chop her...she smells mouth watering like a fruity berry scent with that undeniable hint of diesel. I can’t wait to taste her.
