Gelato Auto Week 2 These big girls have had an amazing week doubling in size. Heat has been a little issue with these two but over all they have been OK besides some leafs that have curled and showing a few rust spots on a couple leafs. I upped the water a little to 32oz a day. Over all good growth keeping plenty of air flow. Happy Growing Everyone.

Day 33-40 (May 24th-May 31st) (Day 34) I just found a herm branch on the tight blueberry pheno. It looks like a random pollen sack opened right above a lower branch. I removed the sack but I saw a small amount of dust fall onto one of the lower branches. I’m going to leave it to see if it will pollinate that small branch at all. I spent a good 5 minutes looking closely for bananas or claws but couldn’t find anymore. The main bud is clearly unaffected so I will just leave it unless it is visibly seeding itself. Too bad because I’m really excited for this plant. (Day 36) Not a lot has happened since I flushed them. Growth actually looks healthy and I don’t see any deficiencies on anything yet. (Day 37) Both of these badazz cheese phenos are picture perfect and easily hold up against Canadian and California quad grade. I might try to reveg them at the end and take some clones. They have this unique pungent, grassy, sour milk smell that is just wonderful. The density and bud structure is looking great too. This whole plant will probably take 3 minutes to trim if that. (Day 38) Just found a banana on the shitty blueberry pheno. This pheno is trash and I would honestly throw it away if it didn’t mess up the 3 perfect rows. It has almost no frost, no smell, is airy and has bad structure. I’ve actually never seen a plant with such little frost. Even outdoors. (Day 39) I think most of this tent will be done by day 60 but I will probably ride it out until day 70+. I don’t think the blueberries or the jacks will fill out very much either way but taking it too day 70 will ensure maximum production from each plant.

Harvested the Purple Lemonade. Smell of the flower is extreme! Most of the rosin is coming from the cuttings of the Tropicana Cookies. However, I have not been able to “cure” the cuttings of the other plants at a controlled 62% humidity, so this may not be a meaningful result. Thought a little more Anthocyan would surive, but i may have to press @ 160 Mikron next time, will try :)

This was a good week to learn a few things about what I want to do for the next grow. This grow, I let the ladies grow to 5 nodes before topping to the third - next grow, I would top to the third when the 4th is clearly visible. I am about 1 week behind schedule, waiting for the nodes on the mainline to grow so they can be topped again. Going to top them into 8 main cola’s. Reduced water in the buckets to 7l so that the roots have to work a little harder because Cheech was showing signs of being over-watered. Lights remained at 60cm about the plants, 1ml of all nutrients per litre of water.

I think it was related to being underfed or underwater. Midway through the week, they started to recover and grow taller. North is on the verge of flowering. I also lollipopped all plants to try and clear the lower region so it's easy to water and so the plants can focus growth on the important parts. Overall the AKs have been drinking up a storm (watering almost every day at this point), I'm trying to keep an eye out for overfeeding. I'm feeding every watering for now until I see issues pop up, then I'll slow down. Next week may be the week I start flower (guessing since these are autos). WEEK 14 I’m thrilled. The plants are developing beautifully. They’ve gained a good bit in height again, but the canopy has become exceptionally even and bushy. Thanks to the long training, many strong shoots have grown, and both plants have a massive stem and impressive root system. They’re slowly beginning to give off a light scent as well. A very sweet cannabis aroma is already noticeable. I believe this will become one of their key characteristics in the future. Due to their height, I had to remove my internal dehumidifier and now use it as an intake dehumidifier. That way, I’m also able to further reduce the humidity in my grow space. I only fertilized once this week because I repotted the plants into fresh Allmix a few weeks ago, so the soil is still very rich in nutrients. The leaves have a healthy color and the plants are generally in great condition. Next week, I’ll raise the VPD and begin fertilizing twice a week. Other than that, I’ll leave the plants to continue growing undisturbed and hope all my shoots soon develop fully into blossoms.
