Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Prepared Cal-Mag Buffered Coco-Perlite Mix for Coming week. Plants are already on a Light Feed Schedule with a 3 Part series by General Hydroponics. 1st Week Nutrients Diet Per Gal Water 2ml CalMag 1 ml micro 1 ml Grow 0.5 ml Bloom Ph-6.1 TDS - 277 UPDATE : 4 February : - I learned First week starts "After" the Cotyledons when first true leaves show up. Which means I've been actually in my first week only. Putting an end to my anxiety over my current plant sizes. Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages. Stay Tuned as i complete the week 2 on 10th of feb for these Baby Auto's.

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Sunday, 28-08-2022 Looking and getting frosty. Upward growth seems to be slowing down. Top-dressed midweek with 60 ml Humic Acid flakes. Foliar sprayed yesterday with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator(TADZE). Plants continue to seem pest free since starting to use TADZE. Only one midweek feed due to pots being saturated with rain on previous weekend. Supplemented feed today with Beneficial Booster comprised of 50 ml molasses, 125 ml EMAS and 15+ ml~ Recharge in 12 litres stored rain water with the molasses diluted in 950 ml filtered tap water, rain water EC=0~, final EC 1.7.

As you can see she’s going bonkers! The purple colors and hues comes off in the aroma also. She’s a spectacular cultivar. I can’t wait to grow this one again! El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 21/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Ir van creciendo y no llevan ni mal ritmo ni mal color, veremos como avanzan las próximas semanas y como van formándose las flores. Start of Week 2 day 2 of flower!! These girls are stretching and starting to stack bud sites. My little sour diesel is doing her best to reach that canopy with the others, she aint showing alot of sites at the moment but im hoping after stretch and defoliation I can get more to pop. I decided to upgrade my light and now have a SE4500 450w on the way. From what I had researched Id like to be getting 1000ppfd in the center and then around 600-700 on edges I picked up some stashblend and real growers recharge and added it to my water as a compost tea today and will be implementing that in the watering per the plant needs . My biggest fear doing organics is getting behind on the food for these girls. I plan to top dress with worm castings, gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 and power bloom 2-8-4 every 3 weeks during flower, and then about the 4 week of flower I will be using more power bloom than all purpose to avoid too much nitrogen. My biggest thing I been going back and forth on is when to defoliate. I dont wanna start removing abunch of leaves and force my plant to recover during the stretch rather than making bud sites. I figure once it is done stretching completely I am going to lollipop and remove all branches/larf and leaves under the canopy. feel free to comment, provide tips, suggestions im open to all as im still new and learning Thanks for looking and happy growing!!

Oh well, 6 weeks have passed since the 12/12 schedule and all is going really well (I think) Skunk 47 gaining some colors and some weight, the green poison tops who were a little behind from their big brothers are catching up and the critical+ 2.0 are struggling to support the bud weight Really happy with the results so far, let’s wait for the finals 3/4 weeks to see them really gaining the real weight and colors Tell me what you think!!

She is very tall 80cm. This plant might be a monster with some fat buds and long flowering like haze genetic. The main collar will be very fat once fully coverbin buds

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Smallest of them all but the sturdiest of the four plants. As it looks now I see a good 3 weeks remaining.

10/16 So the girls are doing well. They have been watered twice now and #1 just had what looked like a tiny bit of nute burn but took much better to the second watering. They are absolutely exploding veg wise and raising the light was necessary as #1 was much to short, will be updating with transplant soon! 10/18 Ok so transplant happened today. They were growing so quick we needed to move them as soon as they were water ready! They got transplanted into 5g fabric style pots. Did 2/3 Fox Farms "ocean forest" and 1/3 perlite mix. Used same nute mix for watering on the transplant, will change that up soon. See pics and video for more info! 10/22 There seems to be a nitrogen lockout. I'm guessing it was the unneeded cal mag add. Learned our lesson! Upped our grow big and giving the first water in big pots. Other than that they are growing amazing!

Green crack is a big beautiful specimen of a plant , starting to show some lush hues of purple and green and turning into a real Monsta , I’ve never been happier with a plant than I am with this green crack . My fave strain to smoke and by all estimates she’ll be well over 10 oz when she’s done in a few weeks . This week I’ll keep her going hard then start winding her down next week . She’s really going to enjoy having the tent to herself the last few weeks once the wedding glue comes out and will fatten up her already dense buds and eat up the space . Thanks fastbuds for the seeds , always the goods .
