Week7 of flower and she is stacking nice and getting thick. Buds are rock hard and coated in resin. Greasy feel that is stickier than anything I’ve ever grown. At least two more weeks maybe more as all her heads are crystal clear.

I really wonder how tall these ladies would be if I did not enforce any sort of training, would they even grow tall with only a slight breeze, trust when I say slight, it’s enough to extract air out the greenhouse, I’ve tested this out with smoke to better see the airflow in the greenhouse and itself ventilates. But it is not sufficient to cause any stress to help bulk up stems and brunches, we going to need that strength when flowering takes place, big buds get heavy. I think the more you grow the more you say this is your best cycle, I think it due to the lessons learnt while improving your knowledge. At this moment I can safely say I don’t not have a favourite plant in this cycle because of how unique each plant is adapting to greenhouse conditions, unlike outdoor where the plant is exposed to the elements which I say is a huge advantage because it get all the right minerals and nutrients from sun and rain. Luckily I have a tank full of rain water, to be fair enough to not keep these ladies hydrated.

Yo ho ho things are getting a little out of control here. By the end of this week the single plant has grown from the windows to the waaaaallls, measuring 30 inches across and somewhere around 20 inches tall. Humidity is a real problem now with all that transpiration, and because my house is 60-65% RH it is pretty hard to keep the tent humidity below 70% even with ventilation and a dumb thermoelectric peltier dehumidifier. The dehumidifier pulls 160-170ml of moisture out of the air each day but I feel like I might need something bigger (although I'm pressed for space already). VPD ranges from 7.6hPa in the morning and climbs to around 9.5hPa by lights out as the tent warms up. I've seen a lot of people who use the Growmau5 / RapidLed "Far Red Initiator Puck" to help kick their plants into bloom but $37 shipped and it doesn't even have built-in scheduling? I designed my own puck with 4x Cree XPE-2 Far Red (730nm) LEDs, a driver, wifi access and control for scheduling and setting brightness, and while I was at it I added in 0-10V dimming with override dimmer potentiometer, as well as a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor for logging. I call it the Initgnokt. I am also seeing pairs of fine little hairs coming out at nodes, we definitely got a ladyplant here, hope to get some blooms coming soon?

SO, the girls were doing so well into their second week I decided to do the unthinkable... I topped autos! 😳😳🤯🤯 I figured they were doing so well and hadn't entered flower yet; let's do our best to keep them small and get multiple good buds instead of just one. She's upright and growing strong though so we'll see how she responds to the topping. Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Wont be long till we see some giant flowers covered in trichomes! With about a week or so left on the stretching period I will be looking to place my secondary nets very very soon. So I am harvesting sweet Bourbon Kush Autoflower. It grew really fast. It smells like a wooddy sweet Bourbon. Hence the name. 🤷. She grew great for me in coco/perlite in a 1.5 gallon Potter. She has a great smell, great frost. Looks delicious. I am super eager to try the results. Day 15. Girls are steady but no major growth yet. Day 19- stardawg girls seem to be just a bit infront in terms of growth rate compared to the GSC. 2 stardawg, 2 Girl Scout cookies in soil. One of each in rockwool cubes which seem to be growing nicely. Just double stacked them today. Used the rockwool along side soil as a little experiment as I’ve had good results in the past. Due to these being autos I’m wondering if they would of all been better in cubes. Time will tell. Also had one of the Girl Scout cookies showing possible overfeeding but keeping a close eye on all plants and feeds will be just water till I establish what’s caused it. Bulking. Thought she was an 8-9 wk strain, turns out she is 9-10. She is gonna be heavy. Finally dropping temps below 60. Come on purple! Video/photos taken 98 days after breaking soil, day 49 of flower.

10th week, the smaller Strawberry G was already harvested. 5 grams dry weight. Twig snap two days ago I was out smoked it. Head buzz, Strawberry taste was light and delicious. High lasted about 4 hours. I have a habit of harvesting with hardly any amber so the potency is at its peak.
