Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

I removed a couple fan leaves and immature undergrowth. It's been a couple weeks in flower and no bud sites formed yet. I'm surprised. This strain must have a longer growth cycle over 9 weeks. Or she's just a late bloomer. Her pistils and first small bud sites are coming out after a bit over 2 weeks in flower. It is very bushy and thirsty so I trimmed it. This strain is showing less heat stress than the predecessor under the same light.

Flushed and Chopped everything in the last 7 days, very happy with both strains my best grow to date with the futur vert flora max 660watts led. The new HVAC for soil is performing well, allowing me to incorporate flood/drought style to watering, without any worry of overwatering, Cannabis has a "sweet spot" where stress response to "drought" can be triggered before the negative effects of drought can impact growth dramatically, During night time plants process all the stored energy from photosynthesis as a by-product of cellular respiration and releases a lot of water vapor RH% into the air, don't water at night, water in the morning. More and more colors this week, trying to get the best pictures. I gotta cut it down because the trichomes are there. Gotta prep it for that with a little defoliation.

It was going really well and started feeding it nutrients. I started with grow big and cal mag. I started raising the ph a little bit and she seemed to adjust and love it. Other than that good week!

Hope to get some feedback about nutrition : After 1 plant developed a small brown tip, I started feeding. A total of 116.6 liters of water goes into my system. The feeding schedule says that you should give 4 ml of root juice per liter of water. So: 116.6 x 4 = 466 in total for week 1. So, 466/7 = 66.5 ml per day. Despite this, the differences in root growth per container seem very different. 1 bin was so far behind that I changed them. However, after 1 day a brown mass developed in the roots. The others are still nice and white. Is this already the bereft root rot? I've made some pictures and a video. The first plant in the video was first in the container of the third plant in the video. EC value = 0.6 PH = 6.6 Update 3-5 : After adding more air, problem solved. Need to keep an eye on plant #3. I've put sticks on top of the startblock. 1 stick is plant #1 etc. Plant 3 is behind the rest. Root development also differs from the rest. Instead of a long (about 50 cm) long carrot, they are a few short (10/15 cm). The plant is also significantly smaller than the rest. Can't do much now so, let's hope and see she can catch up.

This is my first ever experience with autoflowers, scrog, lst, led and such tiny grow space. Choice of strain - Big Bang Auto from Green House Seeds. I have run so many strains from this seed bank in the past and I was always happy with the final outcome. Was looking for indica dominant strain, fast flowering cycle and very important heavy yields on small spaces. Again thank you GHSC in very happy of choosing this strain. Little bit about my cabinet. She had some problems to switch to flowering and was even considering removing her but very happy that I was patient enough and turned great. Luna, right corner lady - have to say she is the queen. She has the most heavy buds from all, the most. colorful. Her wet weight was 420g, can't say how much of dry but guessing approx. 100g Sweet Mary Jane, front seat lady. I think she was the most pleasant to grow of her location but due to no other spare space for drying I belive that I have harvested her at least a week to early. Things are really starting to smell strong and getting fun. Seeing some frosty Trichomes. Excited!

Having just started a Sweet seeds + speed Auto, Red poison auto from sweet seeds was next on my list to be grown with Jack 47 in my arsenal after that. I'm already growing some sensible seeds strains so I didn't want to dip into them. I considered buying a seed for the 'one girl one cup challenge' aka Solo cup competition but knew I'd send myself crazy deciding which I should use. I had half decided I wanted to go Indica dominant as an entry for their shorter size anyway so...... after looking at images online of the Red Poison, I thought it would actually be a good choice. "....So a 16oz cup is a what now?" pint - no litre- no half pint - no 500ml - nope 473ml - yes, ah ha! 473ml = Nothing, the size doesn't exist in the UK. online I can get 10 delivers fow a few quid. I'm not paying that, I'll find something..... Closest ( It's near perfect to be honest) I found was an, ahem... recent... 30 and fab cup. I've videoed it's contents as proof I'm thinking as Indica she's gonna drink a lot (compared to sativas in my opinion) but I also have no drainage. Even though I think she may be a big drinker, I'm not worried about her drying out so much, she'll quickly bounce back from a drying out with a drink. I'm more worried of Over watering I still need to (at time of writing this) actually make a homemade tent first, buy some (probably 2) cheap bulb fixtures, I've still got some foil blanket left from other tents I've made and I've got some spare house hold LEDs I'll bang something together......

Week 8 and the plants are now starting to get flushed Nd also are giving of a brilliant fade , buds are very dense and purple and red colours are starting to come. Overall really pleased with how everything is going
